Jesse_Whiteman [321] - (NRP & PG)

Recommended Posts

Player(s) being reported: Jesse_Whiteman (321) | @Heisenberger
Date of interaction reported: 22/06/2021
Unix time stamp from HUD: 1624402555

Your character name: Audrey_Martin
Other player(s) involved: Caroline_Mathew (260), @Dangimdead00 Teddy_Kaiser (328), Billy_Gross (217)

Specific rule(s) broken:
9. Non-Roleplay (NRP)

  • Actions that are unrealistic or promote poor quality roleplay are considered as non-roleplay.

10. Powergaming (PG)

  • Powergaming is playing unfairly through not allowing other players a chance to roleplay responses and their own actions, unrealistic actions, or non-factual statements in /do.

How did the player break the rule(s)?  (300 words maximum)
After quite some interaction with inmate Jesse_Whiteman, I decided that I wanted to put him in a cell. Jesse refused (which is an IC issue so that was fine), but decided to force actions by using /me resists or by simply jumping away the whole time. After a while tasers were also being used. After tasing Jesse around 17 times, ID 260 (Caroline_Mathew) decided to force RP which he can probably give an own statement about if needed.
I believe the player broke rules by not allowing other players to have a chance to be part of the roleplay responses and forcing actions, which I would also personally consider unrealistic. I also believe the effects of a taser were not properly being RP'ed by the reported party. I personally believe the realism and immersion was affected by these actions.

Evidence of rule breach:
Non edited footage will be send to the staff member(s) handling this report as it does contain staff chat at some point. An edited version where the chat is blurred is still added to give the reported party a chance to see what I experienced from my POV.

PENDING RESPONSE
―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

After reviewing this report and the evidence attached to it, we have decided that this report cannot be concluded at this time. We would like to receive a response from the following player(s) to explain their side of the story:

  • [ping] - Jesse_Whiteman ( @Heisenberger ) - Can you explain why you can be seen running off after being tased *multiple* times by *multiple* people? Do you believe that expresses realistic actions. Additionally, do you believe being able to resist after being tased that many times shows realistic value?

If the requested player(s) do not respond within 24 hours, this report will be concluded based on the evidence that has already been provided, to the best of our ability.

Regards,
Senior Moderator Kazjii

REPORT ACCEPTED
―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

After reviewing this report and evidence attached to it, we've decided to accept this report and issue the punishments to the following player(s):

Jesse_Whiteman (321) - NRP Punishment - Improper reaction to getting tazed- The evidence has shown you getting tased multiple times and you clearly failed to demonstrate proper RP reaction to it. In the future please try and remember that at some point the human body would not have been able to support getting tazed so many times and properly react to that.

Jesse_Whiteman (321) - NRP Punishment - Powergaming - On multiple occasion you were getting grabbed/ held by more than one DOC guard. Your only RP response was to /do resist and run away which is not enough and doesn't explain how you able able to resist and escape two persons. In the future a remembers to use a /me "would to this to attempts to free myself" the goal is to create more of a back and forth RP situation rather than and action followed by a reaction/running away.

If you have received a punishment that you disagree with, feel free to file a punishment appeal following the punishment appeal guidelines and format. If the reporting party suffered a loss greater than $25,000 in value, feel free to file a refund request following the refund request guidelines and format.

This report will now be locked and archived.
