6. Ruleplaying

• Purposefully using, manipulating or interpreting rules or rulings falsely or outside of its intention, in an unrealistic or unintended way that does not constitute quality or realistic RP standards.
• Examples of ruleplaying for clarification (not an exhaustive list):
  - In a criminal chase, driving at slow speeds knowing that your pursuers are unable to attack you because they can't deliver demands.
  - Walking into a hostile situation with your hands up, knowing your backup is hiding, in order to bait deathmatching rights.
  - Taunting e.g. an enemy at a public place (e.g. fishing pier) knowing that they can't retaliate at said public location, effectively showing no fear for your safety.
  Each situation will be reviewed and dealt with as case by case basis by staff, the examples above are not precise and there could be realistic context to someone's actions.

13. Fear Roleplay (FRP)

• Fear RP is showing appropriate care and concern to preserve your character's safety and life.
• If a player's life is in direct danger they must RP adequate fear and comply with demands.
• If an attacker lowers their weapon to type, victims which were under fear RP remain as so.
• A player is not showing proper fear if they run while on foot/bike or in an unpowered vehicle and a weapon is aimed at them at close range, or if they drive into an active shootout more than once without the intent of providing cover or fleeing with it.
• A player still has the option to react if they are in a powered vehicle, if they already have a weapon drawn facing their attacker, or if their attacker's view is obstructed by an object.

9. Non-Roleplay (NRP)

• Actions that are unrealistic or promote poor quality roleplay are considered as non-roleplay.
• Players are required to remain IC at all times. RP can only be paused or voided by admins.
• If a crash / disconnect occurs, players must post in the crash reports discord channel and contact all parties to resume. Players reconnecting must be given all opportunities held prior.
• Players should not instigate situations they do not have time to play through. If a player is chased they must wait 15 minutes before they can log out of the game.
• Players can’t depict their character with real images or game images not possible on ECRP.
• Examples: Ignoring RP, baiting government services without proper IC reason, asking to be killed or forcing your own death, unrealistic stunt jumping, misusing expensive vehicles, using script work vehicles for other purpose, submerging any vehicle in water intentionally, swimming for an unrealistic amount of time in a chase, or stealing from / tampering with an OOC F4 menu.
• Non-off road vehicles may not drive up mountains or steep hills. LSEMS & Mechanics are exempt.

How did the player break the rule(s)?  (300 words maximum)

We were preparing to rob a bank and as our allies aim, a member of 67, ID 187, intentionally places himself under gunpoint to set off the alarm. Not only does this show little value for their character's life (FRP breach), but he does it under the guise that we can't simply shoot him right then and there (ruleplaying breach). The reported player also knows to walk in front of the teller knowing that script allows them to ruin it (script abuse). As for the NRP breach, I can't imagine in a real life situation, a gang robbing a bank, then another gang walking casually in front of the gunpoint, allowing tellers enough time to set off the alarm (video 1). As we leave, you can hear him mock us, saying "get fucked r*tard." (video 2). When he is back at Jamestown, he mockingly says "how was the bank r*tard." I don't have POV of this, but logs should show. Because of the evidence provided, it feels that this was a wholly intentional act purposed to ruin our bank heist.

I was completely floored and gobsmacked when I found out they set off the alarm on purpose. Had it been something we could have easily resolved, I would not be making this report. ID 187 ruined RP for everyone involved and resolving in-game doesn't feel possible. I believe had ID 187 not performed the actions above, even 67 and Drift would've received a cut of the money, as Lifeinvader is typically a difficult bank to clean out completely. This was only one of the possible RP outcomes. However, the RP displayed by the reported player felt like a play-to-win mentality.

I'm sorry that I have to make this report, but it is on behalf of everyone that was involved that feels their RP was ruined.

EDIT 21/06. I would like to clarify several things as a response to Jules_Lahoud below in-case anything was misinterpreted. I repeatedly told my members that "[67 and Drift] won't do anything" because it would've been obscenely senseless - from an IC perspective - if they decided to ruin the bank intentionally since they are also a criminal organisation. Secondly, as for 67 and Drift receiving a cut, I meant this in the context of them joining, not us providing it to them. Thirdly, all gangs were present just as the cooldown ended. The robbery on a 67 member was irrelevant and happened several hours prior, in addition to this, it is enforced on our members that "gang-to-gang" conflicts are not a valid reason to be hostile outside of an official war and any retaliation has to be carried out to specific people, therefore a gang - as a whole - were not posed as a threat. Finally, I did not "ask for anything", as the RP scenario was already too far escalated and ruined any potential for the rest of the evening. To ask for something outside of loss would be considered RWT. As for the name-calling, these were simply direct quotes from the reported member. If rules are believed to be broken from my end, staff are welcome to further inquire or a report is welcome to be filed.

I would like to start off my response by saying I am extremely sorry to the reporting party and all other people involved for ruining this RP situation. In the heat of the moment I was not thinking and made a stupid decision and now looking back on what I did I understand the frustration of the reporting party I have never done anything like this before and I can assure you that it will never happen again. I appreciate the reporting party for bringing this to my attention. I take full responsibility for my actions and I hope to prove in the future that this was a lapse in judgement and not the way I carry myself on this server.

Hello, this is Jules_Lahoud ID 171 from the first clip.

I would like to start by thanking the admins for taking this report.

As I was involved in the situation I would like to say a couple of things before this report gets concluded. First of all a little back story of the events, we were planning for a while to hit this bank with LSD, while we were making our way to the bank we spotted all of them making their way to the bank. As we were present me ID 171 I was in front of the bank while they were still running in. They decided to continue going in even tho another gang was present outside the bank before they even started. At the start, they thought it was drift so they continued but later on they discovered that 67 was also there. They continue by saying they won't pull up they won't do anything referring to us not having DM rights to do anything, for it to be a Bank and maybe because of a past report made on goblins where the same party was involved [Rooks] (ruleplaying).

I don't know what happened and if Jamal intended to ruin the gunpoint if he pulled in before the countdown finish which means you should not have triggered the alarm at least that's what I saw in the first video. Sadly I do not have POV as I believed that they messed it up, as I was told on the frequency. While everyone was leaving I heard shots not sure what happened as I was not present. As for Lola pointing out the NRP of us walking casually in front of a bank while they are robbing it. As shown in the POV you provided we were there while you were still running inside. I don't believe realistically a gang would try to rob a bank while its rival gang is right outside watching you. For sure we would try to prevent you from doing the robbery but we were trying to find a way to make it fail as you are our rival gang (Maybe we did it wrong). You are saying that you'd give us a cut from it. I am more than sure you would not want that and you are mentioning it only for the report. Not to mention that some of your faction robbed one of us at Dutch earlier that day, which would show that you would never give us a cut. Again I am not sure how you wanted to solve it in-game as I was not involved or present during the talk most likely you asked for something and as we did not give it to you, you decided to make the report.

( I like how you are saying that he called you those words above while some of you called him a P***, and I don't know if saying those words would change anything.)

• Jamal_Onizuka - Non-RP Punishment - In this situation, is is pretty blatantly unrealistic. You directly ran in front of these players to trip the alarm, causing the entire RP situation to be ruined with an OOC mechanic. It is pretty safe to say you understand how to avoid doing this in the future, and I hope you take this punishment as a learning experience.
