Player(s) being reported: ID 154
Date of interaction reported: 9/19/2021
Unix time stamp from HUD:  1624164516

Your characters name: Jaiden Folk
Other player(s) involved: Devonte Folk, Jerry Folk

Specific rule(s) broken:

VDM

14. Deathmatch (DM)

Deathmatching is the act of attacking a player without a proper IC motive and interaction.
Prior interaction should include escalation such as a robbery or a report to the police.
Players may not kill victims who have complied with a plausible demand in reasonable time unless involved in severe hostile activity against them or an ally within 3 hours.
Players on foot should only be attempted to be hit with a vehicle once with valid motive.
Vehicles cannot be used as weapons in active shootouts unless where unavoidable.
Players must be able to explain their reason and provide proof of prior reasoning if requested.
If a player informs you that your VOIP isn’t working, you must either fix your VOIP using appropriate commands or use text to deliver your demand.

How did the player break the rule(s)?
A radio call was made that a member of our gang was being followed by the cops for no reason eventually he was order to pull over but he had contraband  on him worth over 100k. He decided to evade but he soon realized he couldn't escape the cop so we set up a plan to free him. The plan failed and eventually we were followed by cops. We decided that we should try to eliminate the one cop before he calls for more units and got out to shoot the cop.

Evidence of rule breach:

In this you can see that the cop came in at a straight angle and was shot at right away. If we truly wanted to leave he would have continued driving in a straight line

In this you can see that the officer went out of his way turned into me and ran me over. Completely getting of course just to run me over

Kind of funny the officer almost crashed trying to return back on course.

ID 154 here, Jordan Wealthmeer. I would like to state two things. One you can see that it was not intentional. I was full sending it and when you pulled guns I was trying to avoid being hit and swerved as you can see at the end of this clip where Im still spinning out - https://streamable.com/6z0b30
Two I do not have pov until he was already ran over, I was recording the wrong screen, If staff wants I can send them what I have since it still have audio. I would also like to add that according to the rules

14. Deathmatch (DM)

  • Deathmatching is the act of attacking a player without a proper IC motive and interaction.
  • Prior interaction should include escalation such as a robbery or a report to the police.
  • Players may not kill victims who have complied with a plausible demand in reasonable time unless involved in severe hostile activity against them or an ally within 3 hours.
  • Players on foot should only be attempted to be hit with a vehicle once with valid motive.
  • Vehicles cannot be used as weapons in active shootouts unless where unavoidable.
  • Players must be able to explain their reason and provide proof of prior reasoning if requested.
  • If a player informs you that your VOIP isn’t working, you must either fix your VOIP using appropriate commands or use text to deliver your demand.

According to the rules I can not use a vehicle in an active shoot out, which it was not yet. But besides that "where unavoidable" where you can see in this clip
https://streamable.com/6z0b30 you run to the right, running into my vehicle.

I would also like to add that I asked you to save pov from when I was chasing the red sultan and you all stop and just start shooting me because "Sirens means DM rights" with 0 demands.

PLAYER REPORT DENIED

Thank you for your patience while this report was under review.

After reviewing this report and evidence attached to it, I have decided to deny this report for the following reason(s):

  • Watching the footage provided and reading the explanations from either side, I have concluded that this is not VDM. You all jump out of your vehicles and begin to open fire on him as soon as he is in sight. He did not have another option than to continue driving. I am not sure what you expect to happen when you open fire on somebody, but choosing to stand behind no cover at all while a vehicle is coming at you at full speed is asking for trouble. This is not DM in any way considering the circumstances and lack of options for the other player. If he stops he is dead, if he slows down to back up he is dead, the only thing he can do is continue forward. He drives in at high speeds and his vehicle jumps, causing him to lose control as can be seen, he is trying to correct his steering and hits you as you choose to challenge a car with your body mass and don't care about your cover.
  • You claim that you couldn't get away, which is not the truth. You had already lost him as soon as you turned into there and you could have kept driving and turning to lose him entirely given your vehicle's superior handling and acceleration. Yet, you guys decide to stop and wait for him to engage in a firefight. That makes little to no sense given your explanation of why you had to do this, was wrong. You actively seek out the fight rather than continue to make use of the advantage you had already been given. Even your friend in the backseat questions your actions as he proclaims that you should just keep driving and lose him, rather than wait for him to catch back up again to shoot him.
  • Considering all points, explanations and evidence, this report will be denied.

This decision is final. Unless instructed to, if you post another player report pertaining to this incident, you may be muted from posting on the forums for a temporary period. If you disagree with the outcome of this report, please file an appeal following the appeal guidelines and format.

Regards,
flow
