Isaac_Crane [ID 184], Victor_Marke [ID 165] Robbing/Looting a New Player and Deathmatching

Recommended Posts

Player(s) being reported: ID 184 and ID 165
Date of interaction reported: 19/June/2021
Unix time stamp from HUD: 1624147683

Your characters name: Pablo Vargas
Other player(s) involved: ID 184 and ID 165

Specific rule(s) broken:
14. Deathmatch (DM)

  • Prior interaction should include escalation such as a robbery or a report to the police.
  • Players on foot should only be attempted to be hit with a vehicle once with valid motive.

15. Player Theft, Prison Breakout, and Kidnapping

  • One cannot steal from players with NEW PLAYER above their head unless they have deliberately taken part in an active crime scene in which protection is temporarily lost.

Robbing a New Player

How did the player break the rule(s)?
I was driving away from the lab (I was done with the location and driving off to the bank) when ID 165 came and rammed into my car. I asked him a question if he was alone (it can't be heard in the video for some reason) and he didn't respond he just said "wat", then suddenly ID 184 came up to me and pointed a gun at me without any motive and said something which I couldn't understand at the time. When I attempted to leave, he kept shooting at me until I died, then looted my body and took my gun.

Evidence of rule breach:

  • Victor_Marke [ID 165] - Why can you be seen attempting to block the reporting parties vehicle with your expensive sports car? What were your RP intentions with the reporting new player? Please provide any evidence that you might have.
  • Pablo_Vargas [ID 172] @Pablo_Vargas - Do you have video evidence with sound included? Do you have an extended version of the situation that shows what happened after you got shot?

Hi victor here in the POV I was not attempting to block the guy I came to pickup my friend (Isaac) when I seen the man leave sealab so my first thought was he was cooking drugs since he was just leaving the lab, I didnt have eyes on my team mate so I drove up to talk to the player when the speed of Issi was faster than I thought and I rammed him a little. Id like to note I was not driving carefully in this vehicle, it was a stolen vehicle that we took of some guy that tried to rob me then later died so we took his Issi. Sorry that my behaviour looks like im trying to ram but that was not my intention I didnt even know Isaac was going to give the warrener demands as he did not call on radio that we was approaching. Thanks for the staff members time and thank you for letting me say my side.

To the reporting party: I honestly apologise as it seems I was trying to block you but that was not the case it was just in the heat of the moment.

I have an extended version, but I don't have a video clip with my voice in it. I think it has something to do with the NVidia recording settings which I will fix for future situations.

Here is the extended clip :

You can see them looting me and they took a pistol 50 that I had on me at the time.

Id like to add the report requirements state that no EDITED footage should be used when making a report. I would like to request a full UNEDITED POV from the reporting party as that is the rules.

Thanks for your time.

(Reporting party never asked me to save POV therefore I do not have.)

REPORT ACCEPTED
―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

Thank you for your patience while this report was under review.

After reviewing this report and evidence attached to it, we've decided to accept this report and issue the punishments to the following player(s):

  • Isaac_Crane [ID 184] & Victor_Marke [ID 165] will both receive a punishment for NRP. As seen in the provided evidence, the reported parties initiated and conducted a robbery on a new player that was not seen conducting any illegal activities, and due to no evidence to support otherwise.
  • Isaac_Crane [ID 184]Victor_Marke [ID 165] & Pablo_Vargas [ID 172] will all receive a spoken to for excessive OOC. We understand that situations sometimes do not go the way you plan, but you should always attempt to remain in character and continue with the RP. In the future, submit a report in game, save footage and if you do not receive a response, submit a forum report, while also continuing the situation in character and staying out of /b.

Additionally, we would like to mention that while attempting to put someone under FRP and giving them demands, you should always try to be clear, and give valid and direct demands. Telling someone to "get out" could be interpreted in a few ways, which is why you want to be sure that you give clear instructions.

Regarding the DM accusation, while you are under gunpoint in a vehicle with the engine on, you are free to try and evade, but in doing so, the assailant receives DM rights on you and is allowed to shoot. This is what happened in the situation, therefore the shooting falls within our DM rules.

If you have received a punishment that you disagree with, feel free to file a punishment appeal following the punishment appeal guidelines and format. If the reporting party suffered a loss greater than $25,000 in value, feel free to file a refund request following the refund request guidelines and format.

Regards,
Thunderboss &
Caesar
