First off staff thank your for taking time to take this report,

Specific rule(s) broken

13. Fear Roleplay (FRP)

  • If a player's life is in direct danger they must RP adequate fear and comply with demands.
  • A player is not showing proper fear if they run while on foot/bike or in an unpowered vehicle and a weapon is aimed at them at close range, or if they drive into an active shootout more than once without the intent of providing cover or fleeing with it.

How did the player break the rule(s)?
While chasing ID 83, He stalled from a vehicle hitting him and we pulled up behind him after hitting the barrier. He was taken out at Gun Point and was non compliant with Commands with a MP5 pointed directly at him and he continued to try to start the car, 2 more SMG's were pointed at him giving him multiple orders to get out and hands up, he then still continued to take off after his car was no longer stalled, he got shot point blank and then continued to take off and evade.

OOC Insults -

After informing him to save POV he responded in a /pm with the following screen shot.

Hi, I was the player involved.

First let me address the 'Fear RP'

I did not fear for my life because I knew I could get away due me being confident and anazlying the situation and taking in to the fact of bad policing.

(Which I was correct with, because I got away)

Bad policing you may ask?

Let me give examples:

Incorrect way [the roleplaying officers way of handling the situation]

This is why you NEVER stand in front of the target vechicle. (only on the side, between the two doors so you can not get ran over and have quicker time to react.)

If you did this you would of been fine and able to catch up, and most importantly be able to shoot me. But I was able to predict the situtation before it happened and abused your stupidity.

I took control of this situation and immobilised a police officer, leaving one officer behind me pointing the gun, the other officer (3rd officer) I never seen aiming his gun so thought i'd go quick and make my escape. (I escaped, they are mad because of it)

This means it was me vs one police officer who had a bad angle and was a little further away.

This DOES happen in real life and its plastered all around the internet for examples.

Even the video above is an example of people escaping the same way I did in the GTA situation.

So no, I did not break the rule of 'Fear RP'

I reacted the same as I would in real life, like many others have and many others in real life will keep on doing so.

I would of understood it if I was in a corner, no where to move, cops around me with guns.

But I was in a open highway, one police officer down due to being stupid and him not knowning what to do.

The other officer was on a radio (i think) he wasnt aimed at me and started to only shoot when I drove away. (Bad reaction time? - Honestly wasn't aimed at me)

The 3rd one was the only one who was going to cause slight bit of damage/harm and he had a weird angle on me and wasn't able to shoot me correctly.

If you want more examples of this being done in real life so I can prove it's not Fear RP then ill happily post more Youtube links showing you this.

The only thing I can some what agree with is the 'insult' in OOC (I wouldn't call it a insult, something a 13 year old would be offended by)

Was me saying:

"You guys suck balls"

Which I still agree with, my reasoning(s):

1) You don't know how to Police proper.

     > The fact of bad postioning of police car and units around my vechicle

     > The panic of you speaking even proves you didn't know how to handle the situation (So I out smarted you in the situation)

     > And the fact I got away

So yeah, you do suck some big balls.

Heres a real life example how you should position your self in that situation:

serve-and-protect.jpg

Never, ever, EVER stand in front of the car. Due to me being smart and using that to my advantange.

Quick hint buddy, next time either put the car in front of mine and hide behind it (so I can't move, and you still can shoot me)

Or be in the center of my car so you can react fast enough and nothing would happen to you.

Thank you for comedic value of this thread showing the inexperince you have.

Hope you have a nice day,

Sorry for calling you 'balls'

Much love,

The guy who got away.

Also I wouldn't even attempt to break the rules and get my self banned if I donated more than 100 euro to the server less than three days ago.

Report Accepted

―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

After reviewing this report, and the sides of both involved players, and the evidence attached to it, we have decided to accept this report and issue the following punishments:

  • Player Charlie_Taylor will receive a punishment for Fear Roleplay

  • Player Charlie_Taylor will receive a warning for OOC Behavior

I will now explain the reasoning behind our decision and what led us to this conclusion. In the provided evidence it can be seen you had multiple officers surrounding you with lethal weapons drawn. Your car was stalled and per our rules you would be under Fear Roleplay, yet you decided you'd turn the car on and drive off while under gunpoint, not caring for your own safety in the situation. As a result, and since you've been spoken to about this exact situation already, I am going to give you a punishment for Fear Roleplay.
As for the claims of OOC toxicity, I'll only give you a verbal warning here in hopes you can try to be a little nicer OOCly towards others. We're all playing a game here, there's no need to be rude out of the game.

13. Fear Roleplay (FRP)

  • Fear RP is showing appropriate care and concern to preserve your character's safety and life.
  • If a player's life is in direct danger they must RP adequate fear and comply with demands.
  • If an attacker lowers their weapon to type, victims which were under fear RP remain as so.
  • A player is not showing proper fear if they run while on foot/bike or in an unpowered vehicle and a weapon is aimed at them at close range, or if they drive into an active shootout more than once without the intent of providing cover or fleeing with it.
  • A player still has the option to react if they are in a powered vehicle, if they already have a weapon drawn facing their attacker, or if their attacker's view is obstructed by an object.

Also, unrelated to the punishment. You claim you could not record due to your Nvidia drivers needing an update, I'd just like to let you know for next time that this is untrue and you can record even if the drivers are not updated. As you can see in this screenshot, I'm on the same version as you and have full Shadowplay functionality.

If you feel you have received a punishment that you do not agree with, you may file a punishment appeal that follows the guidelines and format provided. Otherwise the conclusion of this report is final.

This report is accepted, and archived.

Regards,

Aieos & IAmTurtle
