How did the player break the rule(s)?  (300 words maximum)
I came over to the oil spot and started mining, the other player became aggressive at me. I told him that I'm just mining. He then started punching me and afterwards pulled out an axe and almost killed me (If I didn't run I would have died for sure).

In the 2nd video you can see that he might be attempting to VDM me but I keep managing to climb on my truck in time.

Hi can i thank @Harveyyy for taking my report and highlighting this issue, my response to this is my character has had a hard time today and due to the fact he has had many set backs due to being robbed when he got to the oil sight he reacted in this way because he had been waiting for someone else to leave the oil site and was patient and then this guy came without asking or even any communication and i reacted in the way i did. the action i took on behalf of my character were due to frustration, i didnt see anything wrong with this.

I died there maybe an hour before I showed up to mine, nobody cleaned up the body. I believe that after the NLR timer passes it's ok to return and continue as if the body is not there?

After reviewing this report and the evidence attached to it, we've decided to accept this report and issue punishments to the following player(s):

• Charlie_Bez [213] - Will receive a Punishment for Deathmatching. 

• Giuseppe_Baron [229] - Will receive a Punishment for Violating NLR.

 

Going through the provided evidence, Charlie_Bez can be seen approaching the reporting player when he was mining at the oil field. He started to get aggressive and asked him to back off and leave the mining spot. The reporting player denied his request so Charlie_Bez decided to attack him by throwing punches at him. You stated that your character had a hard time that day and he got robbed multiple times. Our rules clearly state that you must have a proper interaction and escalation between you and the other player in order to have DM rights against him. In this instance, you decided to attack him just because he was mining oil and there weren't any free mining spots, therefore you'll be receiving a DM punishment. 

Moving on, while reviewing the provided evidence, we can see Giuseppe_Baron mining oil on top of his dead body. When asked about it, you said that you died an hour before you showed up there and it's fine to be there after the NLR timer passes. Our rules clearly state "Players can’t return to the area of death until the prior RP is finished and 30 min OOC pass."

In this instance, you came back to the area of death while your body is still there, which is extremely unrealistic. You had acknowledged the fact that your body is still there, but you decided to ignore that and to keep mining on top of it. Per the script, bodies despawn after 60 minutes OOC, but the NLR timer is 30 minutes. That means you can't go back to your dead body, therefore you'll be receiving a Punishment for violating NLR.
