Specific rule(s) broken: 13. Fear Roleplay (FRP) Fear RP is showing appropriate care and concern to preserve your character's safety and life. If a player's life is in direct danger they must RP adequate fear and comply with demands. If an attacker lowers their weapon to type, victims which were under fear RP remain as so. A player is not showing proper fear if they run while on foot/bike or in an unpowered vehicle and a weapon is aimed at them at close range, or if they drive into an active shootout more than once without the intent of providing cover or fleeing with it. A player still has the option to react if they are in a powered vehicle, if they already have a weapon drawn facing their attacker, or if their attacker's view is obstructed by an object. How did the player break the rule(s)? Appelgi Posted June 6, 2021 Report Share Posted June 6, 2021 (edited) Hello, Pretty simple, we were going down the hill as can be seen and I flipped the car. When I landed back, I tried turning on the car again but it failed, best option then was to get out and start my best to defend myself/surrender. I felt like the car was giving me good cover, so I grabbed my gun to start defending myself against the guy on the motorcycle, I didn't notice the other people involved so I thought I had a pretty good chance. Regarding the roll of the car, I would argue that it was a very slow roll, and it landed quite softly. I understand that there is still some hurt involved regrading a crash like that, but a few seconds later I decided to get out. I tried to flee, but when I noticed I couldn't I got out. Adrenaline would of course be involved too with a situation like this. Regarding saving pov, I missed it in the moment, didn't read it. That's pretty much it. Sorry if you feel like your RP experience was ruined by me. Other than that, I feel like the situation is what it is... you could've at least reached out and asked me why I decided to pull out my gun? Solve it OOCly? I think this situation is quite a small one, yes I could've improved with my judgement when taking out the gun/positioning but other than that I see no problem here. GiorgosK Posted June 9, 2021 Report Share Posted June 9, 2021 Report Accepted ――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――― After reviewing this report and the evidence attached to it, we have decided to accept this report and issue the following punishments: Player Benjamin_Specht will receive a punishment for Non-RP - Fear Roleplay I will now explain the reasoning behind our decision and what led us to this conclusion. In the provided evidence, it can be seen that you decided to start a gunfight even though you were heavily outnumbered by enemy players who were already out of their cars point weapons at you. You gave no regard to your life and its safety so you would not be robbed. Which in the end you still lost everything. In addition, you decided to get out of your car and start shooting even though you were just in a car crash. It is really hard to get out of a car right after an MVA and immediately start and fight. There was no attempt to RP your injuries whatsoever. Just immediate gunplay. If you feel you have received a punishment that you do not agree with, you may file a punishment appeal that follows the guidelines and format provided. Otherwise the conclusion of this report is final. This report is accepted, and archived.
