11. New Life Rule (NLR)

• Upon a player's death all parties involved in the death should forget memory of all information and any negative interactions and events leading up to the death.
• Information prior to the death should be completely forgotten and is no longer valid justification for any future hostile action against those involved. 
• Players can’t return to the area of death until the prior RP is finished and 30 min OOC pass.

 

 

 

How did the player break the rule(s)?  (300 words maximum)
Me and Yuuji (ID 100) were checking around labs and picking, we first encountered the rebla with 2 people inside at sealab, then again at braddocks. When we saw them at braddocks we were picking and told them to leave, at first we thought they left but in reality one hopped in a bush, and the other one came back to us to bait us into robbing him, in which I hop out and give demands while I start typing in OOC to see if his friend crashed, so I can let him go since I found it very odd that he would drive back to us like that.

That's where the 1st ruleplaying started, ID 106 purposely drives back, gets out of his vehicle against 2 masked criminals with heavy weaponry on them, knowing very well we won't kill him if he complies as per rules, but in reality you would never bait yourself like that, hence why I believe that falls under ruleplaying and Fearrp.

Now ID 131 was hiding in the bush, purposely making his friend to be robbed (Not fearing for his friend's life) while waiting for us to point guns on his friend, just to gain DM rights. (Ruleplaying No.2)

As soon as ID 131 died, ID 106 went at paleto and picked him up, breaching the NLR.

These players are obviously not new players, I don't wanna make assumptions but it seems clear enough to me that they made alts on purpose so they have the new player tag and not lose items on death (As Yuuji finished him off, not being able to loot him since the new player's inventory goes red with nothing in it), while also knowing where the labs are and clearly having experience around them.

Why did you hide away so you could shoot the reporting party after they initiated the robbery?  Why did you interact with Anderson_Moze when he picked you up. Are you aware of the NLR rule?

• Anderson_Moze (106) - Can you please give your side of this story and provide any evidence you may have of it? Why did you step out of the vehicle with your hands up when a robbery was not initiated? Why did you pick up Vincent_Crawford, right after he had died. Are you aware of the NLR rule?

PLAYER REPORT ACCEPTED

Thank you for your patience while this report was under review. After reviewing this report and evidence attached to it, I've decided to accept this report and issue the punishments to the following players: Vincent_Crawford (131) & Anderson_Moze (106) will both receive punishments for NLR. Although we can appreciate you resolving the matter in private, this report shows too many breaches to be let go off. We have agreed to not take action for the breaches reported, but that you will be punished for the instance of NLR. After dying, you two met up at the hospital and continued with 0 regard to this rule. Let this serve as a learning opportunity and do not repeat these mistakes.  If you have received a punishment that you disagree with, feel free to file a punishment appeal following the punishment appeal guidelines and format. If the reporting party suffered a loss greater than $25,000 in value, feel free to file a refund request following the refund request guidelines and format.  Regards, Thunderboss & @Tenbe
