I just wanted to speak about the recent song that Bala made mentioning other factions along with my very own (LSD). I know this is all for comedic purposes but not all of us accept such jokes towards our faction. Plus if a crim did the same thing towards PD, I think he would be talked to, for OOC toxicity reasons. I am just hoping I can get you to understand where I'm coming from so this does not escalate. I just don't think its funny nor comedic when certain factions including my very own is mentioned is some type of joke.

Oh brother, is this where we're at now? It's in-character, so if you want to talk shit to me in-game about it or file an internal affairs report about it, because criminals are having their feelings hurt then you're welcome to do so.

We're talking about you making a report for the following;

• "Los Santos go drift in the distance.

  Your past ain't furious, you ain't no Wanted."

Alright so, like Genius.com, we'll go through the references to your faction.

• Line 1 is a play on words, whatever it is you are doing, do it away from me.
• Line 2 is if you do whatever is it you are doing, there won't be no more of you.
• Line 3 is talking about the street racer type vehicles.
• Line 4 is talking about you being new in town (your lack of past), the play on words (Past ain't Furious/Fast and Furious) and then obviously, for anyone that has been in the city for more than a year will know there was previously a faction that liked orange vehicles and they were called The Wanted. 

I don't have any feelings about your faction out of character one way or another. Same goes with the Goblins, Russians, Tristate, Kudo Kai and the Bathshebas. You're all the same to my character and all the same to me, criminals and criminal factions. I didn't mention your faction because I'm out to get it or I hate it, I mentioned it because it's there. Those lines are not personal, none of it is.

My music is played at IC events all the time. My music is played in development streams by the server founder. My music tells a version of the server's history as much as any thread or video does.

That's all I've got to say about that.

I took it oocly because Why can an officer do a diss track for all the criminal gangs around I never saw something like that before, And as shown in the lyrics he kept calling most of the criminal factions pussies and other bad words as well I really don't think that's a good way to make a rap song , The only think that makes me do the report that the way he spoke towards all of these factions and every sentence he wrote it has a really bad meaning towards the criminal factions.

It's also show you OOC hate as well , All what Iam saying is it's really bad image for the people when they listen this song and it comes out from an officer in PD

And why he is mentioning irl streamer as well it supposed to be ic

So, rather than handle an in-character issue in-character, you decide to take it out of character? 

My character has been through a lot of shit in the past two years with criminal groups and if you want to search for some sort of meaning for the song, you can start there. Maybe he's sick and tired of seeing criminals lurking at the Pier amongst the fishermen. Maybe he's sick and tired of being shot at, stabbed at, spit at and not saying or doing anything back. Hell, maybe my character just craves the attention. In a world of skittle coloured criminals and cults with dunce caps, why is a rapping police captain any less plausible?

In the context of the whole thing, I can't actually understand why it's you that is making the report because all things considered, I mentioned your faction in the softest possible terms. I can't actually believe that I'm having to justify myself by explaining this, it's actually mental.

I've been contacted by a number of parties that were involved in this song, including members of your own faction. I didn't speak to them, they reached out to me and they either support or have no issue with anything that i've said, as they appreciate the distinction between it being in-character and out of character. I also prior to releasing this contacted a head administrator regarding the song and they said they did not see an issue with it as it's in-character content.

If you are using this argument of referencing Pewdiepie, I hope you've never mentioned Donald Trump or California or anything from outside the GTA universe in your role-play because by your own logic, that's not in-character either.

I'd love to know what OOC hate I have for any of the factions mentioned, because you seem to know my thoughts better than I do. I have no issue with any faction or character out-of-character in this community, yourself included in that.

Had you made any attempt to resolve or ask me about this yourself, you probably could have saved yourself some time and effort to be honest. 

Edit: Oh and for the people liking my posts on this report, I know you mean well but don't please. This isn't content to be valued.

While I appreciate your explanation in the first post, you were not asked to justify anything in this appeal and i'd ask you to refrain from posting further unless asked to give more information.

Why can an officer not do a diss track to criminal gangs they've interacted with?

Does seeing something before make it justified & not seeing it make it not? I dont believe that makes this OOC as opposed to IC just because no one has done it to you before.

Calling someone a pussy in-character or using other foul language about them in-character is allowed per the rules. He did not call you a pussy either, so it is irrelevant to your report. You may not report on behalf of other players, if they feel their individual references were taken too far OOC, that is up to them to report. We'll only be reviewing what he's mentioned about you / your faction within the song for the scope of this report.

Do you have any other reasons as to why you believe this justifies reporting someone for OOC toxicity? Being toxic on an OOC level is quite a serious allegation to make based off what seems to be at surface level in-character content.

After review, the report will be concluded with no action taken. References were IC and therefore there is no ooc issue. 

 

If you feel IC actions escalate to the point of harassment or become OOC in the future, please feel free to both ask the person to stop on an ooc level or make another report.
