Hello, Thanks for the response.

I believe I did not break the VDM rules as I hit you once to protect a friends life looking at your POV it hardly did any damage to your characters health. However for the other players involved is it acceptable to come up once with a Rebla then take a runup and attempt to ram us but miss without RPing any injuries from such a big impact? As you can see from the following POV your friend in the Rebla GTS attempted VDM by ramming us twice without RPing any injury and I hit you at a low speed once in order to protect my friends life. After the first low impact hit I backed off and me hitting did not do much to injure you. You could also argue that they are breaking FRP (Fear Roleplay) as they don't seem to be giving much value to there own life as they ram a car at speeds into a pole and stall their own vehicle.

Here is my POV of the reported incident:

Rebla first hit: 0:08 Bottom right corner of screen

Rebla second hit: 0:28 Smashes into Elegy at high speeds

PENDING RESPONSE
―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

After reviewing this report and the evidence attached to it, we have decided that this report cannot be concluded at this time. We would like to receive a response from the following player(s) to explain their side of the story:

  • Alex_Dover [18] @UNCLE_MOLE - Can you explain the rationale of ramming the player with your vehicle seemingly on purpose? Also, can you provide footage that includes audio?

  • Caesar_Ares [140] @DeanDolan7 - Can you explain the rationale of swerving your vehicle to the direction of the players while they were shooting at each other? Please provide your side of the story and any evidence that you may have.

If the requested player(s) do not respond within (24) hours, this report will be concluded based on the evidence that has already been provided, to the best of our ability.

Kind Regards,
Harveyyy & jason

Hello,

My rationale was not ramming the player until he died but to make him fall over once. I did not ram him and it was a very low impact hit that occurred once. I still believe that the behaviour of the Rebla driver (Hitting me once then turning around to gain more speed to hit me again) was bad. The reason for me hitting this man one time was to protect my friend as I was already in a position to protect my friend from the shooter by knocking him once.

I am not sure why but when I use ALT+Z to clip things for 5minutes it does not clip the audio of the selected program.

This is allowed as seen in the ECRP general rules:  The motive would be my friend getting shot at and me wanting to protect him and I only hit him once.

14. Deathmatch (DM)

  • Deathmatching is the act of attacking a player without a proper IC motive and interaction.
  • Prior interaction should include escalation such as a robbery or a report to the police.
  • Players may not kill victims who have complied with a plausible demand in reasonable time unless involved in severe hostile activity against them or an ally within 3 hours.
  • Players on foot should only be attempted to be hit with a vehicle once with valid motive.
  • Vehicles cannot be used as weapons in active shootouts unless where unavoidable.
  • Players must be able to explain their reason and provide proof of prior reasoning if requested.
  • If a player informs you that your VOIP isn’t working, you must either fix your VOIP using appropriate commands or use text to deliver your demand.

Kind Regards,

UncleMole

Hi, Im player 140 (Caesar_Ares)

Due to this being 3 days ago i do not have any footage of this as i only keep footage up that is longer than 2 days old due to storage space. However I was the one driving the Rebla. From my POV we were chasing these guys that tried stealing one of our cars and we were all close to ewachother while driving when they crashed and i may have tipped the back of his car but had no affect on the situation as you can see it was just a small tip. I began to reverse and go the opposite direction and i was advised to go back and go help my friend because i had discovered he had stalled and got out and began a shoot off with this other guy and due to me and the passenger in my car not having weapons the only way i was going to save my friend was to hit the guy with the gun with my car which from my knowledge your allowed to do ONLY ONCE. I missed and hit my friends car and stalled. I believe I showed great Fear RP as you can see in the footage when he tells us to get out of the car I immediately get out and put my hands up and then go on my knees and RP them frisking me. I dont believe I have broken any rule here. Please get back to me asap.

Kind Regards.

REPORT ACCEPTED
―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

After reviewing this report and evidence attached to it, we've decided to accept this report and issue the punishments to the following player(s):

  • Alex_Dover (18) - (V)DM | Using a car as a weapon in a shootout.

  • Caesar_Ares (140) - (V)DM | Using a car as a weapon in a shootout.

―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

Going through the provided evidence, Alex_Dover can be seen chasing ID 152. Later on, both of them crashed into the sign at the side of the road. ID 44 gets out of the vehicle along with ID 152 and a shootout happens. During the shootout, Alex_Dover decides to run over ID 152 with his vehicle, and as a result of that, ID 152 gets downed by ID 44. You stated that you did hit the player once with your vehicle to protect your friend, but our rules clearly state:

Vehicles cannot be used as weapons in active shootouts unless where unavoidable.
The rules that you mentioned show what rule break occurred in this situation. You used the vehicle as a weapon when the shootout was active, therefore you'll be receiving said punishment.

Moving on, during the active shootout between both players, Caesar_Ares can be seen swerving his Rebla to the direction of the players, in an attempt to ram them. You stated that to your knowledge, you're allowed to hit players once with your vehicle, but our rules clearly state that you cannot use your vehicle as a weapon in active shootouts, but you decided to do that even after you had acknowledged that fact that it was an active shootout, therefore you'll be receiving said punishment.

―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

If you have received a punishment that you disagree with, feel free to file a punishment appeal following the punishment appeal guidelines and format. If the reporting party suffered a loss greater than $25,000 in value, feel free to file a refund request following the refund request guidelines and format.

Regards,
jason & Harveyyy
