Miky
Hey , ID 72 here. The /do wasn't by any means made to gain an IC advantage, It was simply stating what the contents of the contract were. As you can see in the contract I used a fake identity and I never stated the amount of money to be transferred to the selling party. The /do was not trying to force a sale and there is nothing I lied about besides my identity (which doesnt give me any advanytage towards the sale) which wasn't revealed until the transfer, I also gave the selling party some money as I stated that money would be transferred after the vehicle was received. Also, something that concerns me is that he uses the fact that you cannot lie in /do as an OOC "insurance" to an IC deal. Now I have a question, does a scam give people DM rights? Since the reporting party proceeded to hunt me down after the scam, shooting me without any type of demands whatsoever. UncleMole
Thanks for the response @Miky I would like to clear a few things up such as the fact that you lied in /do about your identity which is not allowed along with this you also said "The money" would be transferred and we agreed that "The money" was 320k so that would also be lying in /do to gain an IC advantage and gain the Kamacho. Also scamming does not grant DM rights however my friend shouted at you to get of the Kamacho and you just drove off so that gave us right to shoot although we did not kill you.
THNDR
PLAYER REPORT DENIED Thank you for your patience while this report was under review. After reviewing this report and evidence attached to it, I have decided to deny this report for the following reason(s): In the reported situation, the reported party had used a fake name in the contract. This is not powergaming (lying in a /do) for the reason that the name was written on the contract. You can i.e say that my name is John Doe, and show a fake license. That license would be "real" and thus he wouldn't lie. /do's are to describe the situation truthfully, which the reported party did. The above situation has been deemed an IC fraud and we want to clarify that scams CAN happen using contracts, as long as no ooc deceiving is used and other server rules are followed. This decision is final. Unless instructed to, if you post another player report pertaining to this incident, you may be muted from posting on the forums for a temporary period. If you disagree with the outcome of this report, please file an appeal following the appeal guidelines and format.
