ID 188 mixing IC/OOC, insulting me IC about an OOC situation. How did the player break the rule(s)? (300 words maximum) ID 190 robbed my bag with a couple accomplices in broad daylight with knifes and bats out, They took my bag ran off and i caught back up with ID 190 as seen in the video with my bag on his shoulders. I did (/me attempts to grab and rip the straps from the bag with his knife and take it) and as i went to do (/do able?) I mis clicked my spacebar and jumped into the water. In a hurry OOC i said (wait for RP) and (misclick). When i got back up he had ran over to a lady and gave the bag to her and when i asked why he didn't respond to RP OOC he mixed and said "you took your bag right there". I asked him to go back and restart the RP as i didn't want to make it a huge deal but he ignored my OOC requests. All of this can be seen in the video i uploaded. - ID 188 as seen in the video was talking to a friend about the current OOC situation in PM and then were responding IC VC to each other, The first thing he said was "is he fucking serious" "No way what a fucking pussy" "imagine being that guy, holy shit", you can tell they are talking about me and the situation as once again 190 talks about dropping the bag to me to ID 188. ID 188 then started mixing even more in IC voice chat saying "you didn't respond to RP" and bringing up OOC talk and phrases up IC. To be honest I'm more annoyed with the fact that 188 has clearly spent time in RP as seen with his clothing, Gang and car achievements but still doesn't follow simple rules. AimCex Posted May 31, 2021 Author Report Share Posted May 31, 2021 Hello @Tenbe. When asked to cut B chat the first time I didn't see it. But when I saw the message saying take it to PM you can see i did PM. As for the comments saying "your really good at RP u know that?" and "quite sad" i was being sarcastic OOC as he was mixing. That's my fault i shouldn't have let my ego get the better of me but there wasn't any malicious intent. ImaginZion Posted May 31, 2021 Report Share Posted May 31, 2021 (Hamish) My bad on responding to OOC in VC, I'd been drinking and wasn't 100% focused on the game by the time the victim came round to complain to me. The situation was brought to me by someone claiming @AimCex had stolen the bag off a Weazel News employee on the pier in broad daylight, it was then RP'd that we removed the bag from him after confirming the information from multiple people on the pier and returned the bag to the owner. Understandable as to why my OOC and IC was brought to light however the situation was not in breach of RP rules, no harm came to the claimant and the bag was returned to its rightful owner, as is expected of the gangs protecting the pier. I apologise if anything I said can be considered insulting, it wasn't my intention as I wasn't even truly focused on what was going on after the bag was returned and the claimant commenced PM. Claimant also did not respond to RP earlier in situation when attempting to push @AimCex off the pier. MrSilky Posted June 2, 2021 Report Share Posted June 2, 2021 REPORT CONCLUSION ――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――― Thank you for your patience while this report was under review After reviewing this report and evidence attached to it, I've decided to accept this report and issue the punishments to the following players Ainsley_Wonfock - Warning for OOC behaviour - When you suspect a rule break happens, you have to gather evidence and make a report, but you are not allowed to pause RP or impede on other people's RP while waiting for an admin to respond. You got told multiple times to cut OOC chat, and you failed to do so. Jhin_Moon - Warning for general awareness - Please be more aware of your surroundings and show respect for players making claiming OOC mistakes and allow them to continue with the same advantage upon return. I appreciate that you are not an admin and cannot pause RP and you simply followed through with his RP, but in future be more mindful about other player's OOC mistakes. Hamish_Montgomery - Warning for mixing - VOIP is for in-character use only. Please do not answer to anything OOC related when using VOIP. I appreciate it was confusing and frustrating seeing so much OOC chatter, just please ensure moving forward that OOC chat is used sparingly and only in the correct channels (/b, /o or /ooc). If you have received a punishment that you disagree with, feel free to file a punishment appeal following the punishment appeal guidelines and format.
