Player(s) being reported: Aj Shedic (ID 116) and ID 33
Date of interaction reported: 29/05/2021
Unix time stamp from HUD: 1622243769

Your characters name: Gary_Taylor
Other player(s) involved: Jonathan_Willowick

Specific rule(s) broken:

10. Powergaming (PG)

  • Powergaming is playing unfairly through not allowing other players a chance to roleplay responses and their own actions, unrealistic actions, or non-factual statements in /do.
  • Forceful commands should be used after RP or the party is unresponsive for 30 seconds.

How did the player break the rule(s)?
We busted a gun deal and I started patting ID 116 down. He had $80,000 on him, and I RP trying to take it off him. ID 116 RPed dropping it on the ground when he was cuffed, so I RPed picking it up, and then he /pay'ed ID 33 as he came around on his bike. ID 116 PGed dropping the money, and ID 33 took advantage of the rule break and left with the cash with us not knowing he gave the money away.

Evidence of rule breach: I'll send the evidence to the staff who takes the report as it has Staff chat in it.

Hi i am ID 116,

First of all i would like to thank @A N G E L for taking this report and @Gaz. for flagging this possible issue, on my end i was under a high pressure situation with police and yes i do think i should and could have used my /me and /do's a lot more but i have never been very fast thinking with my /me's. i only rp'ed me dropping the money out the back pocket and did not probably use the detail i should have used such as, /me struggles to pull wod's of cash out of each back pocket and throws it 1 yard behind me to guy on bike. may i please ask how the LSPD Possibly could have known (with evidence) how a "Gun deal" was going down" unfortunately due to me having a NVIDIA Graphics car which i can show proof of, i am unsure how to shadowplay with this so i am unable to show evidence of this situation, if i could possibly know how the police knew there was a gun deal going down at this spot at this time and it was these vehicles with these people. it wasnt actually a gun deal, it was a scam so how would you have known that?, in the report above the officer has stated i was in cuffs and he felt 80000 dollars on me whilst i was cuffed, ok, so put this into a IRL respective, he could have fairly easily taken the 2 evenly spread blocks of cash out of each of my back pockets, Because i was cuffed and i didnt have any choice but to take them, BUT i told my alias (ID 33) if you see police come up and try and assist me where you can before hand it would be a great help, in which i dont appreciate the officer in /b accusing me of using discord as this would just be plain meta gaming, in which i felt meta gaming was used to crack this scam.

Player(s) being reported: ID 33, Aj_Shedic
Date of interaction reported: 29/MAY/2021
Unix time stamp from HUD: 1622243930

Your characters name: Samuele Colonna
Other player(s) involved: Jonathan_Willowick, Sebastian_Papadakis, ID 120, ID 272

  • Government funded faction members must go off duty when not performing faction duties IC.
  • Players must capture time stamped evidence performing RP that will potentially influence future interactions and evidence is only valid for 48 hours, death, or until others RP invalidates it.

8. Metagaming (MG)

  • Metagaming is the act of relaying IC information through any method not considered IC that has the potential to change current or future roleplay scenarios or using that information.
  • Mixing IC and OOC information without any benefit is a minor MG offense. For example, a player uses IC chat to call someone by their player ID displayed above their head.
  • Players may not have any interaction or knowledge from their alternate characters.

How did the player break the rule(s)?
I roleplayed giving a bag full of money to ID 120. As soon as he grabbed the bag, I did /pay to make it fair for all parties involved. He then passed the money from the bag to Aj_Shedic.
While getting arrested, Aj_Shedic dropped the money while cuffed (the whole $80000). The officer (Gary_Taylor) roleplayed picking it up but Aj_Shedic used the /pay command on ID 33 instead, who passed by quite some time after the officer picked it up RPly. ID 30 picked up the money without RP, from 3 meters away and dipped.

In all this, no radio communication or usage of phones was present from ID 120 & Aj_Shedic's side, so it is quite weird how ID 33, despite the way he picked up the money with no RP while standing on a motorcycle, he knew exactly who had it and when to approach Aj_Shedic.

  • Aj_Shedic [116] @AJ01- Can you explain the rationale of using the /pay command to give ID 33 the money?

  • Charlie_Bez [33] @Bezz- Can you explain the rationale of driving into an active PD scene after the officers confronted you with heavy firearms? In addition, have you made any attempt to return the money back after ID 116 gave it you using the command? Please provide your side of the story and any evidence that you may have.

If the requested player(s) do not respond within (24) hours, this report will be concluded based on the evidence that has already been provided, to the best of our ability.

PLAYER REPORT ACCEPTED
Thank you for submitting this player report and continued patience as this was under review, after reviewing the contents of this report. We have decided to ACCEPT this report.

ID 33 - Aj_Shedic

  • Non-Roleplay: Poor/Unrealistic Roleplay - Roleplaying "Dropping Cash" while handcuffed and taking advantage of the range and limitation of the /pay script.
  • Non-Roleplay: Powergaming - Using command "/pay" in a poor/unrealistic roleplay scenario.

ID 116 - Charlie_Bez

  • Non-Roleplay: Poor/Unrealistic Roleplay - Lingering around a police scene to "pick up money" that doesn't contribute to a realistic sense.
  • Non-Roleplay: Powergaming - Receiving money from "/pay" during a poor/unrealistic roleplay scenario.

Upon reviewing the footage, logs and statements provided during this scenerio from all parties involved. We have decided to take action and for the following players to receive the above in their admin records. In the provided evidence, Aj_Shedic can be seen getting arrested by the reporting player, a police officer in close proximity, searching him. invading a personal space.

The officer placed him in cuffs and was patting him down, for any for belongings including the money ($80,000) in their pockets, where he RPd attempting to take it from him. Aj_Shedic acknowledged the fact that the player was patting him down for the money and taking the money from his pockets, he then did "/me drops cash" while cuffed which is poor and unrealistic usage of a /me, the officer RPd picking it up, however Aj_Shedic used the /pay command and transfer the money to Charlie_Bez as he entered the scene and passed by, without any realistic form of roleplay whatsoever, with this being Charlie_Bez proceeds to drive off the scene. As both of you took advantage of the script despite the range and the limitation, both of you will be receiving said punishments.

____

  • Please make sure you are conducting yourself in a manner of good roleplay attitudes and proving yourself to be a positive member of the community.

____

This decision is final unless instructed to, if you post another player report pertaining to this incident, you may be muted from posting on the forums for a temporary period. If you have received a punishment that you disagree with, feel free to file a punishment appeal following the punishment appeal guidelines and format. If the reporting party suffered a loss greater that $25,000 in value, feel free to file a refund request following the refund request guidelines and format.

Kind Regards,
