4. Hacking and Exploits

• Players must not have mods, trainers, or any kind of software installed that gives any advantage.
• Server bugs may not be used for advantage and must be reported on ECLIPSE Roleplay forums.
• Server scripts must not be exploited in any way, e.g. circumventing AFK timer.

 

9. Non-Roleplay (NRP)

• Actions that are unrealistic or promote poor quality roleplay are considered as non-roleplay.
• Players are required to remain IC at all times. RP can only be paused or voided by admins.
• If a crash / disconnect occurs, players must post in the crash reports discord channel and contact all parties to resume. Players reconnecting must be given all opportunities held prior.
• Players should not instigate situations they do not have time to play through. If a player is chased they must wait 15 minutes before they can log out of the game.
• Players can’t depict their character with real images or game images not possible on ECRP.
• Examples: Ignoring RP, baiting government services without proper IC reason, asking to be killed or forcing your own death, unrealistic stunt jumping, misusing expensive vehicles, using script work vehicles for other purpose, submerging any vehicle in water intentionally, swimming for an unrealistic amount of time in a chase, or stealing from / tampering with an OOC F4 menu.
• Non-off road vehicles may not drive up mountains or steep hills. LSEMS & Mechanics are exempt.

In the video you can see I'm being chased by a single Kudo member in a Issi sport, I'm doing 190kph when I'm thrown out the vehicle and put into the injured state. You then see ID (239) is now sitting in the drivers seat of the car I was just driving. Whether he teleported to me so that I would crash or he was desynced and resynced to where we were I'm not sure. But from the clip you can see (ID 239) and (unknown ID) then procced to use the bug to their advantage, they hold up the passenger of my car after the glitch which is non rp, they can clearly see a glitch had occurred as (ID 239) would have been teleported across the map. After I put in /b that it was a glitch they proceeded to kill me nonetheless . I feel both these players broke rule 4 and rule 9.

Hello Caleb Barker here,

I do not recall crouching to gain a speed boost what so ever purposely and I didn't even know it gave a speed boost I also did not crash into the reporting party in my eyes, not sure if it was desync or what it was. I was never asked to save POV or else I would have it. I was never PM'd and if the reporting party said it while he was down I was not close enough to see it. I also wasn't told by anyone else in my gang that they wanted to see my POV. It would help a ton if I were to actually see the video so that I can help tell you what I saw and what I didn't. I really don't remember crouching to gain a speed boost nor did I crash. I was chasing the purple issi and I just see the driver get knocked out the car and I yell demands at the passenger and while under gun point he pulls out his gun and starts shooting which is clear Fear RP as well. It would just help a ton if I saw the video. I also never saw him say it was a glitch or whatever happened.

 Hello Donte Kupher here,

Throughout the night we have been chasing LNF and there were multiple chases going on at once. While I was driving around figuring where I was needed I saw the Issi sitting in the middle of the street with no occupants in the vehicle or around it. I assumed that the vehicle was either broke down or LNF left the car there to stack into cars. I went to check the Issi to see if it was broken and as well as see if anything was left inside of it. When I entered the vehicle I was teleported to where it actually was and I was sitting in the driver seat I dont know if it can be heard in the POV they provided to you but I was genuinely confused about what happened. I continued with the roleplay because I felt like that was the best decision rather than me pausing myself out of that roleplay situation. This was merely just a desync issue, I was never told to Save POV of the situation so I cannot provide it. I didnt really realize what happened until now and I apologize for how the situation went down

Hello, Sven Walker here.

I personally didn't have any body cam footage of the incident. Or any screenshots. Because the incident happened so fast. I have body cam now for further incidents. 

In the beginning of the night LNF and Kudo had gotten into a gun fight. So I knew we were not on good terms. I pulled a firearm because I didn't want to be taken hostage so Kudo could use any information that my character would possibly know to use against LNF. Also with Kudo being the driver of Jay's car at the end of the bug/scuff I didn't want them to possibly drive off with me either. I don't know if in the pov you can hear me talk but I was super confused on what had happened at first, but with the bug/scuff that had happened I thought there would have been a pause in the RP because they saw something had happened. For instance the other Kudo member was driving Jay's car when he was never in our car at any time before.

• Sven_Walker  - Spoken to about NonRP FearRP - As shown in the evidence, you disregarded the fact that ID 239 (Donte_Kupher) was pointing a gun at you and giving demands after exiting the Issi Sport and unholstered your own firearm which resulted in a shootout.

General Reminder: We have rules in place to keep RP at high standards, the chasing Issi collided with the injured body on the ground resulting in the vehicle rolling over then once it's stationary the driver jumped out and pulled out their firearm and began aiming. Your character would have sustained injuries from that crash and it is important to roleplay them realistically after an accident.
