Triston_Makro (49) - Powergaming / Fail RP

Recommended Posts

Player(s) being reported:  Player ID: 49
Date of interaction reported: 05/26/2021
Unix time stamp from HUD: 1622086406

Your character name: Lucas Benton - Player ID:152
Other player(s) involved: N/A

Specific rule(s) broken:
10.) Powergaming (PG) -

  • Powergaming is playing unfairly through not allowing other players a chance to roleplay responses and their own actions, unrealistic actions, or non-factual statements in /do.

How did the player break the rule(s)?
In an effort to maintain the integrity of RP I am posting this affair -

I (ID 152) was in the middle of an RP Scenario and ID 49 who was an active EMS barges into the scenario and force grabs me off the bike with no attempt to RP at all, please refer to video.

Timestamp 3:01 - Player ID 49 "Grabs Player 152 by their arm and forces them to follow"

I take my Roleplay scenarios seriously and I would hope others would actively pursue convincing roleplay AT ALL TIMES. None the less the scenario was ruined due to me being cuffed and not being able to climb back up on my bike. Thank you for your time - Lucas Benton

Again, please refer to the video for context

PENDING RESPONSE
―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

After reviewing this report and the evidence attached to it, we have decided that this report cannot be concluded at this time. We would like to receive a response from the following player(s) to explain their side of the story:

[Notified In-Game] - Triston_Makro (49) - Please provide your side of the story as well as any evidence you may have. Also why did you use a forceful command on player 152 without any prior RP thus not giving him a chance to respond.

If the requested player(s) do not respond within 24 hours, this report will be concluded based on the evidence that has already been provided, to the best of our ability.

Hello, Triston Makro here. My intentions were not to interrupt any kind of roleplay or power game this situation. This was a simple mistake and I apologize if this had any affect on their roleplay scenario. I was curious on if the /drag command worked on people that were hand cuffed so I attempted it and forgot the command was still in place so when I walked away I noticed I pulled him a few feet and undragged him immediately as I did not mean to pull him with me. I have no grudges against 152 and I simply just did not mean to drag him with me. Finally, I would just like to point out that standing on a little bike like that is very unrealistic and does not support proper RP.

REPORT ACCEPTED
―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

After reviewing this report and evidence attached to it, we've decided to accept this report and issue the punishments to the following player(s):

Triston_Makro (49) - Powergaming warning - The video evidence shows you using a forceful command without any prior RP and not giving a chance for the other player respond. Such command should not be used in this way and as the rule state forceful command should only be used if the other player is unresponsive more for more than 30 seconds. From your statement you seem like you already understand what you did wrong, thus why only a warning was issued.

If you have received a punishment that you disagree with, feel free to file a punishment appeal following the punishment appeal guidelines and format. If the reporting party suffered a loss greater than $25,000 in value, feel free to file a refund request following the refund request guidelines and format.

This report will now be locked and archived.
