Deathmatch (DM) Deathmatching is the act of attacking a player without a proper IC motive and interaction. Prior interaction should include escalation such as a robbery or a report to the police. Players may not kill victims who have complied with a plausible demand in reasonable time unless involved in severe hostile activity against them or an ally within 3 hours. Players on foot should only be attempted to be hit with a vehicle once with valid motive. Vehicles cannot be used as weapons in active shootouts unless where unavoidable. Players must be able to explain their reason and provide proof of prior reasoning if requested. If a player informs you that your VOIP isn’t working, you must either fix your VOIP using appropriate commands or use text to deliver your demand. 9. Non-Roleplay (NRP) Actions that are unrealistic or promote poor quality roleplay are considered as non-roleplay. Players are required to remain IC at all times. RP can only be paused or voided by admins. If a crash / disconnect occurs, players must post in the crash reports discord channel and contact all parties to resume. Players reconnecting must be given all opportunities held prior. Players should not instigate situations they do not have time to play through. If a player is chased they must wait 15 minutes before they can log out of the game. Players can’t depict their character with real images or game images not possible on ECRP. Examples: Ignoring RP, baiting government services without proper IC reason, asking to be killed or forcing your own death, unrealistic stunt jumping, misusing expensive vehicles, using script work vehicles for other purpose, submerging any vehicle in water intentionally, swimming for an unrealistic amount of time in a chase, or stealing from / tampering with an OOC F4 menu. Non-off road vehicles may not drive up mountains or steep hills. LSEMS & Mechanics are exempt. 15. Player Theft, Prison Breakout, and Kidnapping Robberies should be conducted in a realistic manner with reasonable in-character motive using secluded areas. Players should not conduct minor robberies in situations with high risk. Desert or forest areas are considered secluded but witnesses should still be considered. One cannot force victims to withdraw money, sell script assets, or give assets not present IC. One cannot steal from players with NEW PLAYER above their head unless they have deliberately taken part in an active crime scene in which protection is temporarily lost. Players may not steal from their faction treasury as the F4 menu is OOC. Permission for prison break must be approved by a Senior Moderator+ prior to the attempt. Players may participate in no more than 1 prison break attempt within 1 OOC week. Players are allowed to kidnap or to take other players hostage for only these specific reasons: You have to have a roleplay reason to attack the victim in accordance with the DM rules. If you attempt to commit robbery of a property, you are allowed to hold the players within that property until you have finished the robbery. An NPC is not a valid hostage. All included players may not take another hostage for 1 OOC week if police are involved. How did the player break the rule(s)? ID 167 brought me to the location seen in the first footage to supposedly show me an illegal place. He then attacked me with his hatchet without any prior escalation from either side with the sole purpose of robbing me of my items. After that he carried me over to my cruiser, made me unlock it and killed me with another strike. Fast forward to a few minutes later, ID 167 took a joyride with the cruiser and was caught by other units. A pursuit was initiated and he was caught and arrested, after charging multiple armed officers with his hatchet. After being tased multiple times he still continued fighting and was injured by a batton. He was frisked for a license but refused to /license the PD units, without showing a screenshot with proof of him getting rid of the license. He was then transported to the hospital by MD units, attempted to jump out the driving ambulance and then just disconnected from the server. ID 167 was asked in #crash-reports If he was going to return. No answer was given. Since I was killed, I was not a part of the situation after my death. We were going to make seperate reports for both situations, but decided to merge them into one. All information about the second situation was given to me by other PD players. [Notified In-Game] | Moses_Bay | ID 14 - Please can you explain your actions and motivation behind Baiting the officer and then attacking him without any prior escalation? Can you please explain why you disconnected from the server while be transported and didn't post in #crash-reports on discord or return within 15 minutes? Can you please explain why you refused to show your ID and stated in a /do that you didn't have any, when you had no prior RP to hide or remove them from your person? Can you please provide any footage of the situation you have. @wipd4x | David_Wallace | ID 223 - Can you confirm if the intial reason for you attending the scene was due to a 911 call or not? Can you provide a longer POV starting from the very beginning of the situation (when you arrived or when you accepted the call, whichever ones longer) to the point of death? If possible, can you see if any of the other officers involved have footage of the tasers being ignored? The above-mentioned players will receive 24 hours to provide their side of the story. wipd4x Posted May 26, 2021 Author Report Share Posted May 26, 2021 My first encounter with the player was when I found him injured on a different scene. I treated him and brought him to the hospital. He then told me he knows about a location where he supposedly bought drugs and where the people are that shot him. We then drove around Vinewood Hills for a while until he stopped at the place seen in the footage. I don't have any footage after what is seen in the one provided. It does go back 10 minutes, but just shows us driving around Vinewood trying to find the location he is pointing out. I can upload that If you want, but chat logs should support what I am pointing out, that he is just saying go left, go right, go straight etc. I asked a few people that were involved in the second situation, but noone has footage from the scene itself (tasers being ignored) unfortunately. I was attacked by a duo which later I had the cops called on. The guy reporting me is the cop that came to the scene to help me out I ASSUMED. But, I got no help, the two guys that were in an RV, very easy to catch, were not stopped nor pulled over or put in custody in any way shape or form. That pissed me off, and the cop had an attitude with me and he knows this himself I'm very sure. Also, I have to mention the fact that I was being treated like the suspect but I had clear wounds that I roleplayed having in /me, taken from /mywounds. I baited the officer mainly to get his posessions as I felt I couldn't protect myself and continue going unarmed in the city because look how that turned out, I ended up having spine, leg and thigh wounds and also a gunshot that was treated by medics. So, I told the cop that I knew where their hiding spot was and where they had guns stashed. I made him drive us out and by the way he should blame himself for baiting himself into getting robbed and later on killed because who just listens to a random and drives off to the outskirts of LS in a sketchy way? Anyways he went with it so I thought fuck it why should I not just continue baiting this guy that seems to be going with my bullshit of them hiding somewhere and that I know exactly where. I put pressure on him verbally to make him speed up and get us to the spot because I was eager to get his duty gun and other stuff such as his vest, you know, stuff for protection that would benefit myself. I was tired of being robbed day in, day out and I was also scammed two hours before the incident with this cop and the other guys so yeah, if I said I didn't need this cop as a victim of my robbery then I would be lying. I just said this above for you to understand why the cop was baited to the spot and my reason behind trying to rob him. So I wasn't planning to kill him, I promise that, what happened is that I hit him ONCE and made sure he was downed so I could rob him but he pulled for a gun as you see in the Gyazo video he posted that he pressed TAB or whatever keybind he has specifically to pull out a gun, and the animation was done when you pull out a gun which I saw so I did what I had to do and protect myself. I was regretful tho of killing him if I may admit that because he put himself in a situation we didn't have to be in. So when I tried to rob him anyways he told me he can't give me his stuff so that made me even more regretful and I was very nice to him after that because I felt like he didn't have to die but unfortunately things turned out the way they did so yeah. Also I'm very, very sorry for leaving you guys on read if you wanna put it that way, without a response is what I'm trying to say, by that I mean that I disconnected but I promise you to a hundred percent that I didn't do it on purpose, I love to RP and wouldn't avoid the PD, MD and jail roleplay that was waiting for me after you guys caught me way after I killed this officer that is reporting me so yeah. The truth is that the disconnection was out of my power and I couldn't do anything to get back in-game I promise you that. It wasn't that I had to handle anything IRL it was just that I couldn't get back in game because of my internet provider and I'm not lying when I say that. I've been RPing for long and I don't mind losing in RP as that is a part of it so I would not just combatlog like a pussy (excuse the language) to avoid a couple of roleplay scenes that was waiting for me as a consequence of my actions, simple as that! For the not showing ID part, I actually have proof of roleplaying it prior and I recall that I never said I DIDN'T have proof all I said was I wasn't obligated to show it as it was only needed in certain situations to my knowledge, keep in mind I'm a new player and not to use it as an excuse but misunderstandings happen and everybody say different things. I wasn't certain that I actually needed to show my proof of throwing the ID because I had a previous altercation where I didn't have to and at that time I had no proof of throwing it. But after the altercation I RPed throwing it and SSed it just in case. And it was THEN that I found out the cops wanted proof of it but I didn't feel like they were right due to what people told me previously. Once again keep in mind I'm new to the city and I'm still exploring it and creating good memories and having fun. I do not intend to cause any rulebreaking or harm others with my actions in-game, I'm here to have fun like everybody else and if I can stay on the good path I've been, I'll happily do it. Another unit noticed an RV in the area, but IC protocol prevents us from straight up arresting them because they were in the area and drive the same vehicle. They were obviously pulled over by us, but hoped on motorcycles and evaded while the other officer and me were deciding what to do with them. I hit you to weaken your conciousness given the fact you're literally armed and can take my life any second you'd like. You pulled for a gun, I had to kill you. It's proven. By the way. IC protocol here and there, the fact that you let two gunmen leave a scene like nothing can not be covered by such stuff as IC protocol. In real life it would never have happened and even though I am not a cop, I sure know no gunman would get to escape freely with two cruisers behind them knowing these gunmen are armed. We have decided to ACCEPT this report. ID 167 - Moses_Bay Non-Roleplay: Poor/Unrealistic Roleplay - Baiting Government Services (PD) to "Steal" their equipment. (Weapons) Deathmatching: Attacking another player without a proper IC motive and interaction. (Poor Motive) - Attacking an Officer with a Hatchet. Upon reviewing the footage and logs of this scenario as well as taking in the statements from both parties. We have decided to take actions to the following that has happened in the roleplay scenario, as this has both deemed poorly and in breach of server rules. During this altercation, you have decided to bait an Officer into an area upon him initially helping you to the best of their ability, you then took advantage of this kindness, taking in the fact that prior to this roleplay scenario, that you had a robbery experience in which other Officers attended, and deciding because you did not get the outcome you wanted, you decided to then without reasonable cause or prior escalation with this specific Officer, you hatcheted them to their death, having no DM rights on him. ("-I baited the officer mainly to get his posessions."), ("-why should I not just continue baiting this guy that seems to be going with my bullshit.") ("-I tried to rob him.") It is Non-Roleplay to call government services (Including calling mechanic / taxi / medic etc. services) to bait unrealistically or for the sole purpose of robbing them or killing them are not permitted under any circumstances. Any roleplay that requries an action beforehand with yourself roleplaying that you are not carrying your ID on you; must be RPed prior to it occuring with an example of either losing or leaving it at home with a valid roleplay and valid timestamp using /time and is to be save or screenshot and is only valid for 48 hours and upon request from parties that are involved in your scenario, you must therefore provide these evidence. You state that you know the rules, upon the review of you logs, but as you have responded into this enquiry, you also state that you are new and still learning.
