14. Deathmatch (DM)

• Deathmatching is the act of attacking a player without a proper IC motive and interaction.
• Prior interaction should include escalation such as a robbery or a report to the police.
• Players may not kill victims who have complied with a plausible demand in reasonable time unless involved in severe hostile activity against them or an ally within 3 hours.
• Players on foot should only be attempted to be hit with a vehicle once with valid motive.
• Vehicles cannot be used as weapons in active shootouts unless where unavoidable.

15. Player Theft, Prison Breakout, and Kidnapping

• Robberies should be conducted in a realistic manner with reasonable in-character motive using secluded areas. Players should not conduct minor robberies in situations with high risk. Desert or forest areas are considered secluded but witnesses should still be considered.
• One cannot force victims to withdraw money, sell script assets, or give assets not present IC.
• One cannot steal from players with NEW PLAYER above their head unless they have deliberately taken part in an active crime scene in which protection is temporarily lost.
• Players may not steal from their faction treasury as the F4 menu is OOC.
• Permission for prison break must be approved by a Senior Moderator+ prior to the attempt.
• Players may participate in no more than 1 prison break attempt within 1 OOC week.
• Players are allowed to kidnap or to take other players hostage for only these specific reasons:
• You have to have a roleplay reason to attack the victim in accordance with the DM rules.
• If you attempt to commit robbery of a property, you are allowed to hold the players within that property until you have finished the robbery. An NPC is not a valid hostage.
• All included players may not take another hostage for 1 OOC week if police are involved.

 

9. Non-Roleplay (NRP)

• Actions that are unrealistic or promote poor quality roleplay are considered as non-roleplay.
• Players are required to remain IC at all times. RP can only be paused or voided by admins.
• If a crash / disconnect occurs, players must post in the crash reports discord channel and contact all parties to resume. Players reconnecting must be given all opportunities held prior.
• Players should not instigate situations they do not have time to play through. If a player is chased they must wait 15 minutes before they can log out of the game.
• Players can’t depict their character with real images or game images not possible on ECRP.
• Examples: Ignoring RP, baiting government services without proper IC reason, asking to be killed or forcing your own death, unrealistic stunt jumping, misusing expensive vehicles, using script work vehicles for other purpose, submerging any vehicle in water intentionally, swimming for an unrealistic amount of time in a chase, or stealing from / tampering with an OOC F4 menu.
• Non-off road vehicles may not drive up mountains or steep hills. LSEMS & Mechanics are exempt.

How did the player break the rule(s)?  (300 words maximum)
I had received a call while on PD duty from Danny Spears telling me about his new car. I ended my watch and drove down towards The Rusty Spear which is Danny's usual hang out spot. I saw him on the way there at a local clothes shop, checked out the car and picked him up to show him the new Shadow Corp building. We drive there in my car with that being the only RP prior to the situation. As seen in the footage, I parked my car in a private parking area and then exited heading towards the Shadow Corp building with Danny Spears following behind me.

 

Without seeing anybody else on the road and or interacting with anybody, somebody from an elevated floor in Red Parking opens fire on me and Danny. Danny was hit 4 times and I was rushed by a Goblin who was driving on the road. I approached the Goblin in the car to try and get some answers, I then realised that this put me way out in the open for them to open fire again so I immediately retreat. This is when the Goblin from the car rushes me and injures me. I am not sure if I got caught in the crossfire of a shootout with somebody else but this seemed like definite DM. Also there were no demands issued by anybody at any point.

i was driving around the city with a prospect in my car, i heard over radio that someone heard shots at red parking, i speed over there and i see two of our people shooting one person which was the reporter. i never stepped foot out of my car i was only driving around the area. the only thing i heard over radio was that someone aimed a gun at one of our guys.

 

(the person initially that shot them from parking Flyboy_Jones was not a goblin)

I was in a car with a fellow member of goblins in my car. We heard over radio that someone was shooting at red parking so we went over there and I saw another member of goblins fighting with this guy so I stepped out of the car to help him but the other guy was already downed before I could shoot at him. The people in red parking was not a member of the goblins.

I am currently a prospect with the Goblins and was running with them to conduct common IC business with the gang, I heard over radio of shots fired close to my location so I decided to get close to the area. Upon entering the area I heard shots being fired followed by a radio call that a goblin had a gun pointed at him. At this time, I seen one of the fellow goblins engaged in a gun fight. I quickly decided to retrieve my weapon from my bike to help ID 78 but due to the common inventory glitch I had a slight struggle retrieving my weapon. by the time I was able to retrieve my weapon my fellow goblin had already won the gun fight. At this time I decided to run over and search the body to retrieve his items for ID 78 as I noticed he ran back to his vehicle. At this point I felt it was safe enough to search the downed player as we had several goblin at the scene. I was unable to retrieve any items from officer snow as his inventory was empty. I then proceeded to leave the area.

Sorry to intervene but as shown in my footage, I had parked my car in a secure location at the other end of the street therefore meaning that I could not have retreated to my car. Thank you

Sorry for any confusion. I stated ID 78 ran back to his car shown in the POV after he shot you. Not you. Hope this clears that up

Sorry to intervene but this situation clearly should not have involved the Goblins. You can hear over the radio another Goblin say 'Can we clean up?' meaning that the initial fight did not include the Goblins. You can also see the initiating Goblin looping around the area looking to get DM rights by me aiming in his direction. No Goblins were initially involved with the fight. This is an extreme case of NonRP as if a fight has nothing to do with you or anyone you are related with(which is shown by the initiating Goblin radioing that 'its randoms') then why are they looking to get involved. This is not an RP scenario that the Goblins should have been involved with in the first place and they forced there way into DM rights. Thankyou.

After reviewing this report and the evidence attached to it, we've decided to accept this report and issue punishments to the following player(s):

• Flyboy_Jones - Will receive a Punishment for Deathmatching.

 

In the provided evidence, the reporting player can be seen getting shot at from the Red Parking. He pulls out his gun and shoots back. Going through the damage logs, we saw that Flyboy_Jones was the one who shot him, for no reason. After he was shooting back, Raymond_Sharp arrives on the scene. The reporting player aimed his gun at him, which granted Raymond DM rights in this situation. Raymond gets out of the car and shoots him, injuring him and then he finishes him. 

I would like to remind all of the involved Goblins in this situation to not initiate in situations that are not directly involving them. In this situation, you had nothing to do with Flyboy_Jones, he was not one of your allies, therefore you all shouldn't initiated a shootout with the reporting player and would it have been better to just back away.
