Jesterr
Player(s) being reported: ID 172 Date of interaction reported: 24/MAY/2021 Unix time stamp from HUD: 1621896533 Your character name: Zane Connor Other player(s) involved: Irish + 67 Specific rule(s) broken: 9. Non-Roleplay (NRP) Actions that are unrealistic or promote poor quality roleplay are considered as non-roleplay. How did the player break the rule(s)? (300 words maximum) We (Irish) had a shootout with 67 at the end of Catfish View. As we were fighting, ID 172 hides in a bush and pops a painkiller during the middle of the shootout. This is poor rp as he would be just regening from a painkiller as he is bleeding from getting shot. Sam Onizuka
Sam Onizuka here, Firstly, I want to thank both GiorgosK and Aleks for taking the time to look into this report. I'd been hit by a hail of bullets, so I took cover behind a rock, out of scope of any further bullets. This is when I proceeded to finish an Irish next to me, whom I had injured before taking cover besides the bush and a rock. I did not heavily re-insert myself back into the shootout after taking cover because it wouldn't make sense to risk my life when I'm already in a bad state and losing a lot of blood. I assisted my teammates in the shootout by informing them of the Irish positions from which I heard shots coming from. I had been behind cover for long enough, and I was not heavily involved in the shootout after I took cover, so I decided to rply treat my wounds/pain accordingly with plenty of my members still up and providing me with plenty of cover fire. I decided to take a painkiller, and a little bit later, ATTEMPTED to RP my wounds. This would have shown up in the logs, but I had to stop rping ( Doing /me’s) my injury as I was being shot from the north hill. It would have also shown in my pov if I had saved it however, ignoring the fact that I was not informed to save pov, my hard drive happened to be full. This is annoying for me as it would have verified everything I have just said above. I was never aware that popping a painkiller is an issue as it is a limited method that would be applicable to the situation to prevent any further pain, as well as complimenting it with rp that could have been done to rply stop any further bleeding (by taking off my shirt and using it to rply stop any further bleeding). If it is an issue or something that is strongly not advised than I have learnt that from this report. I would also appreciate it if, in the final report decision, it can be stated in what situations popping a painkiller would be allowed so that myself and any others viewing this report can fully learn from that part of the rule. Whether it is in my situation I explained above or if it is just not advised at all. Thank you again. GiorgosK
PLAYER REPORT ACCEPTED Thank you for submitting this player report and continued patience as this was under review, after reviewing the contents of this report. We have decided to ACCEPT this report. ID 172 - Sam_Onizuka Non-Roleplay: Taking painkillers during an active shoot out which is considered unrealistic or promoting poor quality roleplay. In the evidence brought forward by the reporting party, you had taken cover within a bush and began to take painkillers during an active gunfight without any form of roleplay and using this feature to gain an advantage mid fight to begin regenerating health which is promoting poor roleplay and considered non-roleplay, hence why you'll be receiving this punishment today. This decision is final unless instructed to, if you post another player report pertaining to this incident, you may be muted from posting on the forums for a temporary period. If you have received a punishment that you disagree with, feel free to file a punishment appeal following the punishment appeal guidelines and format. If the reporting party suffered a loss greater that $25,000 in value, feel free to file a refund request following the refund request guidelines and format.
