14. Deathmatch (DM)

  • Deathmatching is the act of attacking a player without a proper IC motive and interaction.

  • How did the player break the rule(s)?
I was inside bradocks when i heard that my allies are giving demands at the entrace of the lab to irish, was on the way out to help when i saw 3 irish members (ID 145-402-162) getting out heavies from their briefcases, i got out to give demands but my ally ID 305 rammed me by mistake which got me downed on the ground, that's when ID 162 decided to just shoot me instead of giving me demands cause i was not in a position to fight back as it is fear-rp if i do so. this situation can be better clarified by the POV below.
    Evidence of rule breach:

After reviewing this report and the evidence attached to it, we have decided that this report cannot be concluded at this time. We would like to receive a response from the following player(s) to explain their side of the story:

  • [Notified In-Game] - Floyd_Tucker (339) - Could you please post a longer version of the clip in you have one?

  • [Notified In-Game] - Cameron_Fade (162) - Can you please explain your side of the situation. Please provide a POV if you have one as well, along with any more information.

If the requested player(s) do not respond within 24 hours, this report will be concluded based on the evidence that has already been provided, to the best of our ability.

Hi, Cameron Fade here

First I'd like to thank all the staff taking this report. The Reporting party was involved in an Active shootout and decided to pull his shotgun out on my comrade as my comrade was getting an item inside of his briefcase. He pulled his shotgun out when he got out of the car, combined with the chase that had gone on earlier I believed that this was more than enough hostility to shoot him. In the clip you can see I hesitated in shooting him but I saw the shotgun he attempted to pull out in his hands so I shot. It was obvious in this situation that the only reason a person would jump out on Three irish was to attempt to rob them, or kill them. The driver messed up Floyd by hitting him on his way to pull on my comrade so he was punished for it. Not to mention the active shootout going on in the front of the braddocks trail in which all of these cars were headed. In floyd's pov you can see them all heading towards the front of braddocks as the active situation has started and the shootout has begun

After reviewing this report and evidence attached to it, we've decided to accept this report and issue the punishments to the following player(s):

  • Cameron_Fade (162) - Deathmatching - In this situation, the shootout was not actively happening. You should've given the reporting party demands, instead of shooting on sight. In the future, always issue demands before shooting someone down.

If you have received a punishment that you disagree with, feel free to file a punishment appeal following the punishment appeal guidelines and format. If the reporting party suffered a loss greater than $25,000 in value, feel free to file a refund request following the refund request guidelines and format.
