Specific rule(s) broken:

14. Deathmatch (DM)

Deathmatching is the act of attacking a player without a proper IC motive and interaction.
Prior interaction should include escalation such as a robbery or a report to the police.
Players may not kill victims who have complied with a plausible demand in reasonable time unless involved in severe hostile activity against them or an ally within 3 hours.
Players on foot should only be attempted to be hit with a vehicle once with valid motive.
Vehicles cannot be used as weapons in active shootouts unless where unavoidable.
Players must be able to explain their reason and provide proof of prior reasoning if requested.
If a player informs you that your VOIP isn’t working, you must either fix your VOIP using appropriate commands or use text to deliver your demand.

How did the player break the rule(s)?

I was teaching a new player how to park his car and some server information so after a bit, I meet a friend there so we were talking about our plan so what we do soon and what's my plan for soon so I just see a guy who walked there and axed me I had half heath so I injured him why I didn't give him demands because he already axed me and I didn't meet this guy like never and we didn't have any situation with ID 256 I don't know what he wanted to do but I'm a fully legal IC like there is no way to have a situation with him after I injured him ID 139 takes him away at the same time ID 256 will be disconnected

sadly my PC is bad I just can save my instant reply 1 minutes

Thank you for your patience as this player report goes under review. After reviewing this report and the evidence attached to it. I have decided that this report cannot be concluded at this time.

The following player(s) will be required to provide their side of the story from this situation within the next twenty-four (24) hours:

  • ID 59 - Burrz_Umby - [Player Notified] - What was your reason for attacking this player with your hatchet? As from the footage provided there wasn't any prior interaction between the character(s) involved. During this active roleplay scene is there any reason you chose to disconnect moments afterwards?
  • ID 139 - Troy_Clevers - [Player Notified] - What was your reasoning for running into a scene that just had active shots fired and picking up the body and running away?
  • ID 60 Alexander_Muchadha & ID 200 Jae_Yu - [Players Notified] - What was the reasoning behind running into an active scene and beginning to instantly loot the man without any form of roleplay involved?

Make sure that you state your character name in response to this player report.

If the player(s) above fail to respond to this report with the next twenty-four (24) hours, this report being reviewed and handled will be concluded based on the current evidence submitted.

Kind Regards,

My character is ID 60 Alexander_Muchadha. Prior to the incident reported here, we had just been attacked on the pier by similar looking players. You cannot hear it in the POV here, but Jae_Yu and myself were discussing whether or not these were the same guys who attacked us at the pier. One of our gang members had his firerarm stolen at the pier, looted from his corpse. In order to determine if this was the same guy, I informed Jae_Yu IC in game that I was going to check to see if he had the firearm on him. If you see in the pov, we both check the body, but were unable to see the inventory as Troy_Clevers removes the body of Burrz Umby just as the inventory comes up, resulting in both Jae_Yu and myself standing up nearly immediately upon being able to see the inventory. We had RPd that we were going to check for our members gun in the cars just behind where the incident occurred.

Hi my character is ID 200 Jae_Yu. Before the DMing incident, Alexander and I met up with a couple other fellow gang members (seen in Nat's POV) we were sitting in a car behind the group discussing a red car that has been following us around for at that time about an hour. That's why we met up with a couple other friends to be a little safer just incase something happens. The person that ran up and DMed looked similar to one of the guys from the pier, that was involved in an incident with us a couple hours prior, we have POV footage from our own view showing some of that discussion before we got out of the car and ran over to help. Alex and I ran over and began to search the body to make sure he did not have any weapons on him and to get them out of arms reach (if he had more) from him and his friend, standing behind him. We did not loot any items from his inventory, that was not the intention behind the search, and that can be seen within the current footage as well. I understand that without further context within this clip and without another angle, it does appear that Alex and I just randomly ran up and attempted to "loot", but I assure you that, that was never the intention, and we had prior RP context within our vehicles discussing the situation.

Hope to hear back about this situation soon, thank you!

Thank you for submitting this player report and continued patience as this was under review, after reviewing the contents of this report. We have decided to ACCEPT this report.

ID 59 - Burrz_Umby

  • Combat Logging: Disconnecting and failing to return during active roleplay
  • Deathmatching - Warning: Attacking players with a hatchet with little to no roleplay reason and interaction.

In the provided evidence by the reporter there was no prior roleplay interaction between any of the characters involved within this situation. Within the footage reviewed you ran up on the player and began to swing and hit them with your hatchet without any roleplay or interaction leading up to this situation. Upon getting injured and being carried you then decided to disconnect from the server whilst under active roleplay, both acts are rulebreaking with one being Combat Logging and another Deathmatching another player. We highly suggest reviewing the server rules and ensuring you are up to date and having a solid understanding of the rules.

ID 139 - Troy_Clevers

  • Non-Roleplay - Poor/Unrealistic Roleplay - Verbal Warning: Carrying an injured who was shot to bring them to the police.

Disgarding an active scene without much concern for your characters life or your belongings. Within the footage provided by the reporting partying you've reversed your expensive vehicle into an active crime scene without much concern and ran towards a person bleeding out with the armed shooter nearby, and picked them up and ran into the distance with the person leaving behind your vehicle. This roleplay act is deemed poor and unrealistic. It is highly recommended in the future that someone would have rung for emergency services (police/medical) to assist rather than carrying a person to Mission Row as you have stated.

  • Please make sure you are conducting yourself in a manner of good roleplay attitudes and proving yourself to be a positive member of the community.
  • We highly advice that you re-read the Eclipse Roleplay Server Rules, so that scenarios and incidents like these does not occur again in the future.

This decision is final unless instructed to, if you post another player report pertaining to this incident, you may be muted from posting on the forums for a temporary period. If you have received a punishment that you disagree with, feel free to file a punishment appeal following the punishment appeal guidelines and format. If the reporting party suffered a loss greater that $25,000 in value, feel free to file a refund request following the refund request guidelines and format.
