Larry Wrzosek
𝓥𝓪𝓵𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓲𝓷𝓮'𝓼 𝓓𝓪𝔂 𝓡𝓮𝓼𝓮𝓻𝓿𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷𝓼 To kick off the first ever public opening of the Sandbar we chose the one day of the year, where love is in the air, and boy did we feel it! Offering three different times to make reservations for that day. To insure couples from all around Los Santos could find their way to our restaurant to let us do the work so they can celebrate properly. Seeing all the couples having fun together. Taking time out to have a sit-down dinner, dressed to impress their dates, trusting us to make their Valentine's Day more memorable. Was just another example of why the staff at the Sandbar are so passionate with their work. After the last round of reservations Larry got a call from his friend Asbo, wanting to stop in the Sandbar with a group of friends. Which of course was another pleasant surprise to follow an already special occasion. A group of six of them came in together to celebrate their marriage. They decided to all sit at one table together, which was a fun way to end the night laughing over dinner. Turns out that one of the people that came into the Sandbar with Asbo was Travis Rashguard, the host from Rash's Rapport podcast with Weazel News. Which Travis & guests of the podcast went on to talk about their experience at the Sandbar, ultimately giving us 5 stars! Larry Wrzosek
Bittersweet After a little over a year we had come so far with the Sandbar. From all the time & effort put into building it from the ground up. The Sandbar was originally intended to be a chill spot for people on the beach to stop by, grab a bite to eat, and move on with their day. But eventually we found that people wanted so much more. We had to adapt to what worked & what the people of Los Santos wanted from us. People wanted that space to celebrate holidays with their friends, they wanted to have a place to take that special someone. And we like to do that for others. We had some great private events and Valentine's Day celebrated at the Sandbar. A bunch of friendships & memories have been made and that's what we stand for. However upon Valentine's Day we realized that we were not able to house a large wave of people because of the small size place. We only could hold a maximum of four tables which would fill immediately every opening. Leaving so many people waiting unrealistic times to wait for a table. As we continued to grow we realized that our growth would be indefinitely held back by the size of our space. Something as simple as opening our doors to the public, having a blip placed, & running advertisements for an event. After four different parties show up we are immediately stopped in our tracks from providing anyone else service. It took months for Larry to even truly consider another option other than try to make the Sandbar work with what they got. Eventually he got an offer that would give them enough for a bigger place. There were still a lot of things that had to come to fruition after getting the money to get the right place with the right amount of space. This was really taking a leap of faith but he knew this would allow them to reach their potential with more people. Mirror Park Tavern (Our inspiration) The Sandbar (Original Restaurant Location) With the newly implemented system from the government which allows people in Los Santos to request to purchase a location they desired to run a business. We were able to acquire our dream location. Larry Wrzosek
Grand Opening While finishing up the construction of Clappers, Larry was reaching out to many of his friends to see if they would consider working at the restaurant. Chad Rapkov was someone that Larry remained close since they worked together at Weazel, he had Larry's back. Chad introduced him to Raven who was willing to help us out before anyone else was interested. From there they got some momentum. About a week later Larry found a chef named Guiseppe Alfredo, They held an interview with him at Clappers. The food he made for Purm and Larry was spectacular. Guiseppe was passionate & very friendly which was just what they were looking for. As it got closer to opening day they showed a few people from the Mirror Park Tuning mechanic shop the inside of Clappers. Everyone had nice things to say about the place. Larry got pulled to the side by Mina Jo. Mina goes on to tell him about how she is really good at hunting & taking pictures. She asked him if I ever wanted some fresh produce to contact her or if I wanted some pictures taken of the restaurant. Mina was so polite that Larry was certain he wanted her help getting fresh produce so he offered her a job at the restaurant as a source of produce as well as a waitress. Everything had fallen right into place. But Larry could not get passed opening the restaurant without Jackie. She was the person to convince him that this was possible & he should go for it. However when everything was being finalized Jackie was busy doing other things. A few days before our opening Larry ran into Jackie at a party in Mirror Park and she asked him if she was still working on opening night. Larry was surprised because he convinced himself she had lost interest in working at Clappers. Regardless of what he thought, Jackie was pulling through. Larry was impossibly more stoked to fulfill his dream because Jackie was a big part of it. Having her support was big, for him personally. The day of opening night Larry did his best to invite all of his friends & welcome them to bring anybody they wanted to bring with them. People started gathering at the front doors about thirty minutes before we opened. It was a pretty decent size crowd that showed up early. But once it came time to start letting people in it was as if that crowd tripled. There were so many familiar faces that he did not get to greet all his friends until after they were seated inside. The Irish, Rising Suns & Salvation rolled through deep. Jonas Eriksen, Roman Groves, Tyrone Cox, Andrea Fallon, Harry Forde and so many more homies were there. The night was better than we could ever ask for. Our staff absolutely killed it. They were troopers the whole way. They handled serving close to a hundred people in just a bit over two hours. Which is outstanding. Thanks to everyone that came out to support us! Edited February 23 by Larry Wrzosek 8 1

Larry Wrzosek
Back to Clap During the fall of 2022 Larry Wrzosek fell into a deep depression which resulted in Clappers not opening for quite a long time. After a long snooze, Larry headed to a party where he ran into his friend Belle Blackwood. It had been years since Larry last seen her. Belle & Larry worked together at the Mirror Park Tavern back in 2019. The both of them were surprised to see each other after such a long time. Belle & Larry reminisced the whole night until the party eventually came to an end. On the walk out of the party Larry invited Belle to the restaurant. After she was done admiring the building Belle asked- "When is the next time we are opening?" Larry quickly said to her: "As soon as you decide to run it with me." From his experience of working with Belle in the past he knew she would be a great addition. To his surprise Belle accepted his offer. The first thing Belle wanted to do was remodel the dining room. Which was no surprise. Belle always has good vision to enhance interior designs. The next day Larry pulled up to the restaurant to see Belle already bringing in new furniture into the dining room of the restaurant. Belle did all the lighting, gazebos, bathrooms, and sandstone walls. All done that same day. That would have taken anyone else all week to do. But she was determined. Belle’s determination motivated Larry to match her energy and get things going to the best of his ability. BEFORE AFTER At first Larry made an advertisement to hire some staff, and that is how he found Revy Unohana. Then Larry reached out to his long time friend, Ania Wawzryniec, to see if she was interested in working at Clappers. Ania worked with us in 2021 at the Sandbar, our old restaurant. Not only was Ania excited to join us with re-building our staff team, but she also referred & introduced us to Tony Fontaine & Kim Taek Ania pitched the idea of becoming business partners with Larry. Partnering up the Happy Hunter General Store as the main supplier of general goods for Clappers! A few days later, out of the blue, Belle setup this dinner date between two very old ladies, Edith & Genie that were lovely. While Belle was seating them inside the restaurant, Larry gave Tony a call to come give him an opportunity to try out working in the restaurant. As soon as Tony walks into the restaurant the two old ladies cat-called him over for banter. After having a few laughs with the two old ladies Tony finally got away from them and instantly ordered, the already riled up old ladies, a round of drinks. Edith & Genie already had such fiery personalities naturally. So as soon as they got a couple shots in them it was like pouring gasoline on a fire. It definitively was not a great example of logical reasoning to give the two elders a couple shots of tequila. They could have had a heart attack & died on the premises. But they celebrated life that night & Tony had a big hand in that. We hired him on the spot. Belle & Larry set up a meeting to introduce everyone to each other and go over some of the basics with the new employees. Larry thought it would be a good idea to reach out to some of our staff from the Grand Opening of Clappers. Mina Jo, Jacqueline Quinn, and Chad Rapkov. All agreed to come back after Larry's long absence. To further support & rebuild Clappers, once again. Larry Wrzosek
Collaborating with the Bathshebas Once Chad heard Larry was back in town he was trying to hangout like old times. So one night Chad introduced Larry to the Bathshebas who were just finishing building the Galaxy Theatre. They were so nice to show off the theater which was like nothing we had ever seen. Scoobie & Duke have such a good sense of humor. They also took a liking to Larry as well. That is when they invited Chad & Larry to go on the Gooblin King’s Bigfoot Tour with them! Goob’s Bigfoot tour was hilarious and very informative. All attendees of the tour will never look at Los Santos the same after the Gooblin King shows them the true meaning behind some of the structures we pass everyday. At the end of the Bigfoot tour, Chad pitched the idea of having Clappers cater to the Bathsheba's Carnival in a few days. Chad is good like that, always lookin’ out for the homies. After the tour, Scoobie & Larry agreed to collaborate together. This was the first event we had catered to since our comeback, also Belle’s first job with Clappers. After the carnival Scoobie pulled Belle & Larry over to the side and had so many kind things to say to them. We had such a fun time catering the carnival. To top things off Scoobie hired Clappers to cater their first show at the Galaxy Theatre: So you think you got rizz? Belle, Ania, Tony and Larry catered for the Rizz event and it was one of the best events they have ever attended. All of the contestants & judges were hilarious. The entire place sold out. To the point customers were being turned away at the door due to the overwhelming number of attendees. Thank god we didn’t run out of food & drinks! Aside from the wonderful experience. This was a huge deal for all of us. The Galaxy theatre proved that they can deliver enough entertainment to catch all of Los Santos's attention. For Clappers, this was a big confidence boost to be able to feed such a large crowd for this only being our second job since the return of Clappers. What an opportunity to have all thanks to Chad Rapkov & the Bathshebas. Edited August 19, 2023 by Larry Wrzosek
Larry Wrzosek
Doubling Down Downtown After catering for the Rizz event at Galaxy Theatre. Emily Corelle & Kim Taek reached out to Larry & Belle about catering for their Pimp My RV event. With the momentum they were working with, Larry & Belle did not hesitate to accept the opportunity. Initially Ania introduced Kim & Larry to each other a few weeks back at Clappers when they were rebuilding the staff team. They both shared common interests in being creative, hosting events, and both of them being car enthusiasts. A little before the Pimp My RV event, Kim invited Larry to the Downtown Drift Club’s Drift King event for June of 2023. Larry, being a member of Burnout Nation and attending many car shows & drag races, thought he found his fix for cars. Forever having a need for speed. But when he pulled up to the Downtown Drift Club’s - Drift King event, he unlocked a whole new perspective for cars. This being the first drift event Larry has attended, he was not very experienced drifting at all, especially with his Sultan. Having his first taste of the competition was enough to draw him in further. Kim gave Larry a member medallion and welcomed him to the Downtown Drift Club with open arms. While Larry & Kim were drifting around the observatory. Belle came up with the idea to launch the Clappers Food Truck at the Pimp My RV event. Belle got an RV & completely remodeled the inside of it into a fully functional food truck. At the Pimp My RV event, Belle signed up her remodeling company RV. Larry signed the Clappers food truck under his name. Amongst their RVs was a fleet of totally custom made interior RVs. From rainforest gardens to Kim's tiki bar. The creativity that went into all the RVs was impressive. But the food truck had an advantage for sure, everybody likes free food. Chad was outside the truck welcoming people to come try the hot food pumping out of the food truck. While Belle & Larry served up the food & drinks. Among all the people we served that night was Governor Lewis Langley & Marc Ericsson! Belle won third prize with her remodeling RV & Larry won second prize with the Clappers food truck that Belle built. A few weeks later Kim Taek pitched the idea of hiring Clappers to cater for a Beach Cookout to Lilymay Bryd. Downtown Cab Company & GOV were collaborating for a beach cookout to host a Bifta Raffle. Alongside DJ Quiet & the raffle team, Larry manned the grill while Emily served up the hungry party people.
Larry Wrzosek
Clappers Grand Re-Opening To follow up with all of the events we catered for the last few weeks. It was finally time to share the newly renovated restaurant. Before we could do so there were some things that had to be ironed out. Larry reached out to Asbjorn Schmidt & Kim Gray, who both took an interest in working at the Sandbar a few years ago. Asbo & Larry stayed in touch throughout the years so it was easy for Larry to reach out to Asbo. He was more than willing to cook for the in house events. When it came to reaching out to Kim, Larry was very uncertain if she was still in Los Santos. Let alone interested in a job cooking for Clappers. But Larry was pleasantly surprised. Almost immediately after he messaged Kim, she reached out and was interested. After locking down the chefs & confirming the new menu. Larry had to get the menus designed and printed up. He reached out to his long-time friend Emily Corelle to help him out. As always Emily had his back and designed the menus for Clappers. As they have always done since the very start of our journey with Clappers, Tyrone Cox & Bayview came out to the Grand Re-Opening to to show their support which gave the night that much more authenticity. Alongside Tyrone was another one of our regulars Evan Valentine who introduced Larry, to his date, Adaline Lovelace. Filling their table was Kellie Vaeseri. Amongst Bayview and friends, a lot of people who work for the Government showed up together. Andrea Fallon, OJ Woods, Marc Ericcson, and Governor Lewis Langley! Throughout the entire night there was a friendly mentally unstable man dressed up as a horse who aimlessly wandered around the restaurant brightening up the night greeting all of the customers. Lowkey it was Vince Draco. Highkey Porkins spent the entire night drinking at the bar until he was completely wasted. Working security was Ania, Emily, and Chad. Who were immediately greeted with a troublemaker to start off the night. They did a great job of shutting it down and removing him from the premises without further escalation. Once the doors opened all the customers were waited on by Belle, Mina, Kim Taek & Joey Malice. Meanwhile Larry floated around as a host & Chef Asbjorn prepared all of the food coming out of the kitchen. The Grand Re-Opening was everything it needed to be to share with Los Santos!
