14. Deathmatch (DM)

• Killing a player that has obeyed all orders and demands during a roleplay situation is allowed, with roleplay, only within 3 hours of:

  1.  Severe hostile or criminal action is taken against you, e.g. someone is robbing you at gunpoint. (Excluding police aiming a gun at you.)

  3.   Someone is attempting to take the life of your close friend or ally, or if you have witnessed it happen.

• You must explain your reason to kill to the player IC and have OOC evidence proving your reason.

13. Fear Roleplay (FRP)

• Fear roleplay is the concept of roleplaying fear for your character’s safety and life.

• Examples (but not limited to), where your character’s life is considered to be in direct danger:

• When you are on foot or bike and a weapon is aimed at you at close range.

• When you’re in a vehicle that is stalled or turned off and a weapon is aimed at you close range.

• When the attacker lowers their weapon to type or roleplay, your life remains in direct danger.

• Driving a vehicle into an active shootout more than once without the intent of providing cover for a friend or yourself, or fleeing with it.

• Examples (but not limited to), where your character’s life is NOT considered to be in direct danger:

• When you are in a car which engine is not stalled.

• When you have a firearm drawn and are facing the other person before they attacked.

• When the attacker’s view is obstructed by an object or when they turn their back on you.

• As a victim, whose life is in direct danger:

• You must display reasonable value for your life and comply with the demands of your attacker.

• You cannot call 911 or call your friends or allies to aid you.

How did the player break the rule(s)?

I was robbing a Weazel Employee, ID 73 in the White Kamucho comes up to me and runs me over, you can see from him driving on the sidewalk, was obviously his motive. About 3 minutes later, he finds me again, I told him Rooks were on the way, he didn't leave, I told him get the fuck away from me, he refused to saying hes not scared, I get out my car, trying to shoot his tire, he circles back around into a active shootout, and runs me over again for the 2nd time, causing me to pause for a second not being able to shoot, he got out, injured me, and I went to prison for hours because of his rule breaking.

I would like to add more evidence, he thought I had DMed him, as I open fired on him, I tried to explain that, when you ran over me 10 minutes prior, that gave me DM rights.

Here is a video before the second VDM, I was sitting there telling him to leave, he wouldn't leave, he was being immature saying i'm shaking, doing NRP type stuff. I stated that Rooks are on the way, the Comet were actually friends of mine too, but played along. I told him to leave, he continued to stay, I threatned him with death, he didn't leave, I let him know I had people on the way, still he didn't fear, I shot at him, yet again he turns around to come and run me over, instead of fleeing from the bullets, as any person who had bullets flying at them and they are by themselves should do. Not turn around and try to run them over. 

He did reach out to me to resolve this via discord and I did notify him in game that he would be reported, we couldn't resolve it, he said I DMed him and I was the one breaking the rules, so I thought it was best to leave it to the admins.

Hello, I am ID 73.

I would like to thank @FiveOh for making this report and thank you to the admins who are reviewing this.

I would like to point out for the first "VDM" I was not notified that this was a issue until after the second event. Luckily I still clipped the event. 

1) 1st Video - As you can see in this image. https://imgur.com/xB5RLjV I had already turned my wheels to the left to avoid running you over. This next image show you stood next to my car still standing up. https://imgur.com/tOnC19B. This image shows that my wheels are still slightly to the left and this is where you fall down https://imgur.com/yaav1nu. IC'ly I knew you was stood next to the Weazel News employee with a gun. Im not 100% sure if this give me DM rights so I turned away. I also realise that there is desync and on your screen I clearly rammed you but as you can see I tried to avoid it. As you can see I didn't do anything after you fell over. I don't think this situation changed and RP effect.  I can upload my video tomorrow as I don't have time to do so right now.

 

2) 2nd Video - As you can see from the POV provided I was driving off when he shot at me. He had not given me any demands and just opened fire. This is DM and I would like the Admin to look into why he just opened fire. This is when I turned around and ran him over. At this point I had DM rights as stated in the rules - • If they attempt to arrest or hurt you, an ally, or damage your property. IC'ly I thought he was trying to shoot me. Even like he says was shooting at my tire this is damaging my property. 

- Fear RP part - I do not believe I was under fear rp. • When you are in a car which engine is not stalled. • When the attacker’s view is obstructed by an object or when they turn their back on you. The man had his back to me and was running to his car. This is when I rammed him. I then got out my car and shot him as I was worried he was going to pull a gun on me. 

 

3) @FiveOh - I have a question I would like to ask you. Why are you targeting Weazel News employees and why have you and your friends been going around saying you have a bounty on Karl's head. (@froggytommy). You have been going around robbing them for the past few days in the same vehicle. I would like to know what IC reason you have to do this?     (I would like the admin to look into this please)

 

4) 3rd Video - As you can see a Weazel News van is behind us. I was on their frequency and called them to come and see if it was the same guy. I knew I wasn't alone. Yes I was sat there saying stuff this was on the radio. the reason for my saying stuff was because I was annoyed that for the past few days he's been making Weazel News employees a target and I wasn't letting him get away with it. He has already threatened to call for backup so I told him that I was calling someone. He didn't know who. I rang a friend who was working as a police officer and I couldn't call the police because I called the medics for someone a few minutes ago.

 

5) I would like to add this report didn't change the outcome on what happened. I already knew who the person was and would have had charges placed on him. I also had a good description of the car so it would have been easier for the police to find. 

 

6) @FiveOh - One more question I have for you. How come you never told me the first time that you thought it was VDM? You have only pointed this out as you got arrested. If you got away from the situation or got death rp you wouldn't have reported.

 

I have a clean admin record and have been playing for 5-6 months. I have never received a warning and have never broken a rule. I personally don't think I have broken anything in this report but if I have I would use this as a way to improve and not break the same rule.

I second the question as to why I have a “bounty” on my head. The altercation happened on your other character Phil Snitchie. How does Durial know of this and why as a criminal would he care that you were fired from a legal job? Karl does not know Rooks, he does not know Durial, Phil was never approached by Karl IC to inform him of his dismissal from weazel and it was all carried out OOC due to the DM punishment and OOC corruption.

Seems like they potentially might be some metagaming going on here, id like to politely ask the moderator taking this report to investigate this matter further as from an RP standpoint this whole situation does not make sense.

@FiveOh - After reviewing the claims of metagaming and a bounty on somebody's head, please explain the below image. How is it possible that your characters would be able to cross communicate with one another? How would Phil_Snitchie have Durial_Roberson's phone number when they are both your characters?

Along with this, @glix please do not comment on reports that you are not involved in.

I will get a reply to all the questions when I get home. All I will say for now is, there is no metagaming going on. I would like to ask that if there is claims of meta gaming, another report be made. That specific text has nothing to do with the person being robbed, the text was specified towards a single person. If claims of metagaming are going to be included into this report in which they have no effect on the outcome of the report as the report is for FearRP and DM, I prefer if this can be moved to a senior admin+ since FroggyTommy wanted to chime in, I have a active appeal and reports on him and would appreciate it if he didn’t chime in to something he has nothing to do with. Also, Even if Phil was Fired OOC, he would still know ICly as he couldn’t get his car out the gate, and has to ask a worker and couldn’t clock in. Plus, Seth emailed me letting me know I was fired. @FiveOh - The reported player made a claim of metagaming against you to which I reviewed logs and subsequently questioned you about considering all claims of metagaming should be reviewed when potentially suspected even if not in direct relation to this report. The contribution to this report by Senior Moderator FroggyTommy can be disregarded as this report has absolutely nothing to do with him - he simply responded as he was tagged by the reported party in relation to the metagaming claim. However, if you would like this report to be passed on to a Senior Administrator, I am more than happy to forward it on. Please be advised that this report will contain follow up on metagaming claims as I am now formally adding that investigation to this report.

So you know he works for Weazel due to messaging your own character. This has lead you to go around targeting Weazel news and their employees. If you didn’t rob my co worker this would have never happened.

Yes he said he works for Weazel because Phil ICly knew, regardless, the text didn’t regard Weazel, it was to take care of Karl. Had nothing to do with you or Weazel. 
 

Aldrarine, if FroggyTommy isn’t commenting and providing claims and accusations when I have active reports on him, I don’t mind if you handle the report.

Is it ok if I provide the evidence to you VIA Discord? I prefer to it not to be public as I know FroggyTommy is trying to get me on any rulebreak he can.

The evidence will be a message from a admin, with this whole scenario, saying he doesn’t see a problem with any of this. A screenshot of my texts from a friend of Phil’s saying to kill Karl, and a video of a friend of Phil and Durial, giving Phil, Durials number, and Phil telling him to text Durial for him indicating a $50,000 bounty on Karls head. If you check logs around the same time, you should see a different character near Phil giving him Durials number through text and Phil deleting sent texts rply. This was all thought out very carefully and I even took the liberty to reach out to a admin to make sure the rules wouldn’t be broken, as I knew, FroggyTommy was trying to get me for MetaGaming and had a vendetta against me.

All this can be sent to you when I get home if it’s ok to discord you them, if you would like them posted here I would request the report be moved to a senior admin as Froggy is harassing me and taking issues to try and get me in trouble and ruin my RP.

Regardless, the metagaming claim i feel still doesn’t have any impact on this report. Also how would HobGoblin know I had a bounty on anyone’s head without someone relaying it OOC, no one has ever ICly knew about the bounty but 1 person, who has no communication with Weazel. I would like that to be investigated as that statement couldn’t be obtained from anyone but BrandonGotti which will confirm he didn’t tell anyone, it had to have came from FroggyTommy. No bounty was ever mentioned during any robbery.

The fact that you said I was robbing people using that car for days previously is a lie, that is the only robbery that car was used for.

Iv been told by other people in Weazel IC over the radio about the bounty. I have also been told that we have been getting targeted and someone in the same car looking the same tried to rob me and another Weazel news worker a day before. The Weazel knees workers said that they know because the person who robbed them told them. That could have been you or someone who knows, I’m not sure. 

and I feel like this effects the IC incident as you are going around Weazel workers looking for Karl  

I would like to ask that any evidence is either posted here or also show to me please.

I just want to make clear that I went to avoid you and on my side I did avoid you but due to the server I believe it displayed differently for you. I am sorry about this.

Thank you kindly for your patience as I thoroughly reviewed this report and sincere apologies for the delay. Following extensive review, this report will be concluded as follows:

Player Samuel_Martin will receive a warning for the reported incident.

To explain the rationale for this warning as opposed to a punishment I would like to take a moment to compare submitted videos of the first ram provided by both the reporting and the reported players. In the video submitted by the reporting player, the reported party can be seen driving onto the sidewalk where they made impact with the reporting player. However, as can be seen in the video provided by the reported player, this ram never happened and the reported player seemingly bailed out of the ram. I am giving the benefit of the doubt to the reported player that he second guessed his motion to ram due to not being fully aware if he had Deathmatching rights. The reason for this benefit of the doubt is not only the reported player's statement but also the visualization of the tire position and the fact that a full ram in this position would have been incredibly easy considering he had no obstructions and clear line for a proper and successful ram. This warning is due to the fact that the reported player shall hereby be reminded that the only time they should ever even consider ramming another player is when they are, with 100% certainty, sure of their right to ram and should not place themselves in a position where they may be wrong and have to bail as happened in this situation. Please note that this is a warning and not a punishment but should the reported player be in a similar situation, there can be harsher reprimands for these actions. As far as the claim of Fear RP goes, no punishment will be issued for this scene. A single shot was fired at the reported player and subsequently the reporting party turned around and attempted to retreat to their vehicle. The reporting party turned their vehicle around and attempted to ram their attacker. There was no active shootout nor weapon being aimed at the time of the loop back and ram and thus this action is acceptable.

Player Durial_Roberson will receive a Metagaming punishment.

Following claims of metagaming, extensive log and evidence review, and consultation with multiple staff members, this punishment is being issued. As confirmed by evidence (including logs which can be viewed below), the reporting player has two characters - Phil_Snitchie and Durial_Roberson. Upon review of logs, Phil_Snitchie (a legal character) attempted to orchestrate a hit against his former employer by utilizing his alternative character Durial_Roberson (a criminal character). It is unacceptable under all circumstances to attempt this kind of action within the server. Two characters on the same account should never interact with one another especially in this manner. Cross communication (as can be seen below) between characters should never happen as it is impossible for said characters to ever meet regardless of familial ties and other players cannot be used in attempts to circumvent this as a middle man. You cannot use one character to get revenge against somebody for actions done to one of your other characters as this is blatant metagaming. That being said, I am hereby voiding the roleplay surrounding this "hit" as it came about through direct violation of Metagaming rules. Should you be found continuing forth with this line of roleplay, you will be facing continued punishments for Metagaming and will be completely disregarding my ruling on this report.
