Deathmatch (DM) Deathmatching is the act of attacking a player without a proper roleplay reason and interaction. Examples of valid reasons to attack another player: • If they attempt to arrest or hurt you, an ally, or damage your property. • If they report you to the police for a serious crime. • If they are not in compliance with plausible demands, attempt to escape, or call backup. A player cannot kill their victim if the victim is in compliance with the demands. A player must allow their victim enough time to comply with the demands. If a player informs you that your VOIP isn’t working, you must either fix your VOIP using appropriate commands or use text to deliver your demand(s). Vehicles cannot be used to attack a player on foot more than once, including a failed attempt. Killing a player that has obeyed all orders and demands during a roleplay situation is allowed, with roleplay, only within 3 hours of: Severe hostile or criminal action is taken against you, e.g. someone is robbing you at gunpoint. (Excluding police aiming a gun at you.) Someone is attempting to take your life. Someone is attempting to take the life of your close friend or ally, or if you have witnessed it happen. You must explain your reason to kill to the player IC and have OOC evidence proving your reason. How did the player break the rule(s)? I basicaly bobby pinned a zetas comet retro at their HQ and then tried to get away which didn't really work out.When my friends on the radio were calling for backup, I decided to go back to their HQ trying to help them somehow which didnt really work so I decide to leave their HQ with the retro, when all of the sudden I get randomly shot at by ID 42 whilst leaving with no demands given. airi Posted March 1, 2020 Report Share Posted March 1, 2020 (edited) Hello and thank you for taking this report @alexalex303, I will try to make this as fast as possible to explain, so as you can see in the video and his own words he said - "I basicaly bobby pinned a zetas comet retro at their HQ" He stole our gang members car, than went away from the situation but he came back because in his own words again - "When my friends on the radio were calling for backup, I decided to go back to their HQ trying to help them" He came back to an active shootout area, you can even hear the shots being fired other side of those containers, but he was driving around like nothing is happening and then asking why is getting shot, you in a stolen car, driving into an active shootout, "trying to help" your friends. I did not record my own POV but i dont see the reason why is it needed since you can see and hear everything perfectly from the video reporting party provided. It is clear you were apart of the attackers side it seems like you were are just baiting reports here. Also you drove throughout the scene multiple times, I find it very deceiving that you just posted this tiny snippet of our interaction. Examples (but not limited to), where your character’s life is considered to be in direct danger: • Driving a vehicle into an active shootout more than once without the intent of protecting a friend, fleeing with it, or using it as cover. Marvin2341 Posted March 4, 2020 Author Report Share Posted March 4, 2020 I think I have to further elaborate what happened in greater detail since I am now being acused to have done something wrong.First of all as I said already my friends we're calling for help so I drove to the HQ looking to find anyone that's why you see me drive through the whole HQ. I was looking for my allies so I could help them,but when I didn't see any allies I proceeded to abandon the situation that's why you see me leave and at this point my Intent was to help or protect allies which obviously didnt work since I didnt find any so I left the situation to then just being randomly shot at eventhough I hadn't aided my allies nor did I endanger the other partys life in any way,shape or form.Amd last time I checked the DM rules state the following... Hootless Posted March 4, 2020 Report Share Posted March 4, 2020 (edited) You just admitted to entering an ACTIVE shootout in order to assist your allies. When you respond to a backup call and hear bullets flying you should be well aware of what implications that holds. If you drove towards me with the INTENT to hit me with your car but didn't you are still liable for your actions. alexalex303 Posted March 5, 2020 Report Share Posted March 5, 2020 After careful deliberation, I have decided upon the following: No rules were broken during this interaction. The reporter can be seen approaching the zetas HQ/hideout in a (presumably) stolen and/or operating under false flag as a zeta, when shots are heard clearly from his right side, he is not deterrent by this and continues driving deep into the compound. He then continues circling around at very low speeds, as he observes several armed individuals. He then crashes into a body, and accelerates, then stops accelerating and accelerates again. This is questionable behavior, but it could also be attributed to him not wanting to stall his vehicle, or ram someone by accident, and as such, based on doubt it would be hard to definitively state Fear RP. I feel that once the shots were fired, if you weren't interested in partaking in the shootout, you should've turned around and left the area.
