13. Fear Roleplay (FRP)

• Fear roleplay is the concept of role playing fear for your character’s safety and life.

• Examples (but not limited to), where your character’s life is considered to be in direct danger:

• When you are on foot or bike and a weapon is aimed at you at close range.

• When you’re in a vehicle that is stalled or turned off and a weapon is aimed at you close range.

• When the attacker lowers their weapon to type or roleplay, your life remains in direct danger.

• Driving a vehicle into an active shootout more than once without the intent of protecting a friend, fleeing with it, or using it as cover.

• Examples (but not limited to), where your character’s life is NOT considered to be in direct danger:

• When you are in a car which engine is not stalled.

• When you have a firearm drawn and are facing the other person before they attacked.

• When the attacker’s view is obstructed by an object or when they turn their back on you.

• As a victim, whose life is in direct danger:

• You must display reasonable value for your life and comply with the demands of your attacker.

• You cannot call 911 or call your friends or allies to aid you.

How did the player break the rule(s)?

We went to go hit the Triads HQ and when we pulled up we surrounded them, ID 207 was put at gunpoint when he had his back towards the attacker but then turned around and began shooting at the attacker. ID 25 was under gunpoint by a pump shotgun and pulled out his .50 and begin shooting.

Hello and thank you for making this report , 

Im id 207 Tony_Kwang in this situation .

 

First of all i would like to ' thank you ' for letting me know i will get reported to save my pov , luckily i did i guess .

You are accusing me of breaching fear rp but first of all you where shouting with your voicp on (Normal ) . The distance between me and you was so big that it was no point in you shouting that loud in your mic when your settings are on Normal and not Shouting .

Also how are you able to target 4-6 people with just one weapon ? This before your friend comes from the back 

As you can see in my Pov i had a gun aimed at that guy , i barely hear something behind me , i only hear the guy behind me giving demands i roll so i can get a better position while i was holding a gun in my hand . At any point i did not see you coming from my right hand side .

I am not saying you were under fear RP by me but you were under fear RP by my ally

I had people behind me, also why were you pointing a loaded weapon at one of your friends??

• ID 25 - James_Rowan - @MrRobot - Why did you draw your pistol when a man with a shotgun was at near pointblank range, had just given demands, and as you draw, is aiming his shotgun at you?
   
• ID 23 - Eddie_Knox - @Anatoly - Provide your side of the story to include why your VOIP was low and appeared to be on normal and out of audible range from ID 207. Also provide your POV and evidence if you have any.

I did not had the chance to give demands to Tony Kwang as i got out of my car aimed a gun i was ready to shout demands he turned around started aiming his gun at me.Which puts my life in danger so i dont even need to give him demands i can just straight up shoot him.

ID 25 here. Well at the moment he aimed at all of us i was standing still(tried to catch what happened), later on he stopped aiming at me and started shooting ID 207, so i decided to take my weapon, because i was behind ID 111.

You didn't pull out the weapon at that time, you decided to pull out the weapon when you weren't behind ID 111.

After reviewing this report and evidence attached to it, I've decided to partially accept this report and issue the punishments to the following players:

• ID 207 - Tony_Kwang - @DimaDan - Will recieve no punishment - From ID 23's own statement, he did not have time to give demands, as ID 207 was facing him and pointing his weapon before he could give demands. This is not Fear RP.
   
• ID 154 - Ivan_Spas - Will recieve no punishment - This was a mistaken ID by the reporting party, it is noted here for thoroughness.
   
• ID 25 - James_Rowan - @MrRobot - Non RP | Offense #2 | Fear RP - As shown in the evidence, at the time you chose to draw your weapon, a shotgun was clearly aimed in your direction, and demands had been given. You were clearly in danger of being shot, as all other members of your party did not have weapons in their hands or pose a threat to ID 207. I find this to be a violation of Fear RP.

If you have received a punishment that you disagree with, feel free to file a punishment appeal following the punishment appeal guidelines and format. If the reporting party suffered a loss greater than $25,000 in value, feel free to file a refund request following the refund request guidelines and format.
