• Driving a vehicle into an active shootout more than once without the intent of protecting a friend, fleeing with it, or using it as cover.

14. Deathmatch (DM)

• Deathmatching is the act of attacking a player without a proper roleplay reason and interaction.

• Examples of valid reasons to attack another player:

• If they attempt to arrest or hurt you, an ally, or damage your property.

• If they report you to the police for a serious crime.

• If they are not in compliance with plausible demands, attempt to escape, or call backup.

How did the player break the rule(s)?

I personally believe this was aimed at close range and he was on foot however if this is a sufficient distance then I take back that rule breaking of fear rp however i don't think there was a proper interaction between us and i hadn't properly engaged with this player yet and he was also outnumbered. He may have also killed the other players without being cleared for deathmatch although I am not quite sure but they may post here to say their side of the story. There was an attempt to PM him but he had gone offline i believe, unless he was pretending to be someone else.

I did nothing wrong in this situation. Literally look at the DM rule you just posted.  "• If they attempt to arrest or hurt you, an ally, or damage your property."  We both drew our guns at the same time, he pointed the gun at me when I was rolling (with my gun already out) , so I shot. As far as I knew, there were 2 of you, and i saw no weapons, so I wasn't really outnumbered.

The only reason I swore was because I was stressed and angry. Especially because someone had just pulled up shot my friend then got taken away by a medic to then come back and shoot at us again.

The main thing was that we didn't engage in any roleplay/interaction, you just started shooting me as i was starting to initiate roleplay which i believed was at close range however i'll wait for staff to confirm or deny that. I also aimed my gun at you before you aimed your gun at me. I believe you are also trying to make player 274's actions worse by saying "insults" where i can only see one message which you would be referring to, he sometimes struggles to contain his anger when he believes something was unfair which i know seems bad but i think he got caught up in the moment.

you didn't even have your gun aimed at me until i had rolled. Were talking a fraction of a second here, its really ridiculous. Either way, my gun was out. If you wanted to try to "initiate roleplay", dont point your gun directly at me when i also have a gun out. 

 

ID 274 should be able to contain his anger and not go into /b with it.

 

Also talking on radio while being sprayed with bullets while injured is pretty non rp and I ask that the staff reviewing this case look at this.

Looking at the video, I can see myself that I was aiming my gun at you whilst you were walking to the doorway which was before you rolled and this was while you were walking from your bike which was I believe close proximity which may have breached fear rp although I would need staff confirmation for how close it would need to be.

I have also read over the rules and I don’t see where player 274 has broken the server rules as it wasn’t continuous and he wasn’t intimidating you from playing on the server. It was a one off thing that happened because he didn’t believe it was fair and got heated in the moment.

Also this may be me not fully understanding the rules but I’ve been thinking and I was wondering where you had the right to shoot me there as all I had done was aim a gun. I hadn’t attempted to hurt you yet as no shots were shot and I hadn’t said I would shoot yet either. For example I could’ve just been making sure you weren’t someone else at that moment before you killed me and that could’ve just been me checking if you were an enemy or something. So overall I don’t see why you had the right to kill me.

i see that you edited your previous message to add on information about my radio however I wasn’t talking, as you can clearly see from the video I was saying “whoa get your han whoa what” and then shouting the name of an ally for help. You can see by the fact I said “get your han”, I was trying to start an rp situation but I was immediately killed before I could. I do not see how this is non rp as I’m sure if you were in this situation in real life you wouldn’t be able to construct a sentence and would be distressed. I don’t see how that was poor quality rp or unrealistic. I see this is as a poor attempt to try and shift the focus onto me. 

I would also like to add that the "while injured" section of your radio statement was a poor use of words as by that logic, calling medics while injured is non rp to you.
