ID 56 Non-rp

Recommended Posts

Player(s) being reported: ID 56
Date of interaction reported: 2/26/2020
Unix time stamp from HUD: 1582748993

Your characters name: Damius Jakori

Other player(s) involved: Lots of Triads, Rooks, Vory, Zetas ( too many people to list all the ID's )

Specific rule(s) broken:

8. Non-Roleplay (NRP)

  • Actions that are unrealistic or promote poor quality roleplay are considered as non-roleplay.

  • Examples of actions that are considered as non-roleplay:

• Cop Baiting - Provoking a reaction from emergency services without a realistic reason.

• Mercy Killing - Asking to be killed by a friend (Killing a friend falls under deathmatching).

• Unrealistic stunt jumping or the use of an expensive vehicle to ram into other vehicles.

• Spawning a scripted work vehicle and using it for crimes or submerging any vehicle in water.

• Swimming in water for an unrealistic amount of time or without a destination during a chase.

  • Players who disconnect during roleplay must reconnect and inform other parties in order to resume roleplay. If you are unable to reconnect it may be excused after providing proof.

  • In a situation where a player gets away from an incident where they're being chased/pursued, they must wait 15 minutes before they can logout. Players should not instigate roleplay situations if they do not have time to play it through.

  • Players who ignore answering roleplay commands directed at them, e.g. /do.

  • In a situation where a player’s game crashes or the player is kicked from the server, they should be allowed to have the same advantages as they have had before their leave.

  • Players should not deprive other players of roleplay, e.g. early on the interaction asking them not to speak unless it makes sense in the roleplay situation

How did the player break the rule(s)?

After spraying me with a micro SMG, the reported party made many weird noises in VOIP, and he yelled them into his mic. Not only is it not realistic at all to make the noises he made in the midst of a shootout, but to scream them? Mic spamming is not allowed from what I know and that is clear spamming to me. When I look at this in a whole, if this were an ordinary person, it could be considered as a "petty report" but this is coming from one of the biggest factions on the server. I not only think a better standard of RP should be presented from them but from everyone.

Hey reported party here. My character is meant to be eccentric. It helps my character stand out. I do those sound facts to add on to these monotonous and constant back to back shootouts where you see nothing from peoples characters but shooting and silence. I keep stuff like this short and brief as I know not everyone enjoys it so they don't have to deal with it for long. My character is known for being loud and weird but funny and enjoyable as I adjust my character as I get feedback from experiences with people. People can attest to that and many enjoy a lot of the stuff I do. I make ''oush oush' sounds when I also punch people as well but I keep it brief. I enjoy being eccentric weird when I play this character.

You had pm'd during this scene saying something along the lines of ear rape and I had apologized and toned it down as I thought I had been too loud and hurt your ears. My character does action like these to hurt your characters feelings and attempt to cause you to feel useless and worthless after you realize you were just downed by someone like me that's just a trait for my character.

''Please do not take reporting another player lightly and reserve player reports for situations that have caused severe loss or were abused for benefit. Consider if you could possibly teach this player or if you've tried to come to a resolution on your own.'' Could have easily had this been a conversation between us. Don't feel a single ''Pururururururururururu'' warranted a report. As the sounds aren't intentionally made to be loud either as I'm just a loud person. I could understand you reporting if this was something I repeatedly had been doing to you and you didn't feel it was allowed. But majority of the time I just chat shit and don't bother with some of the eccentric stuff as its just not as enjoyable if its done all the time.

I don't want to clutter the report and make this a back and forth, but I see where you are coming. I knew you would say this report is petty and if it was a normal person it could be counted as that. But never the less you aren't a normal person. Not only are you in and representing one of the biggest factions on the server, BUT you are also a STAFF MEMBER. I think not only that ups your rp standards but the tone you say it in, don't you? But not only were the things you did and said very nonrp, but the tone you said it in was very erotic and un-necessary.

I now want to know, would your character, in the midst of hearing GUN FIRE continue to scream? Keep in mind what gun fire sounds like, very loud and it overall makes your ears ring most the time. So, when hearing automatic fire and semi automatic fire, your character being as weird as it is, would make those noises? Aswell as your characters allies and friends are being attacked at. If you think so, which I don't think the craziest person in the world would in the right state of mind, keeping in mind your character is not crazy just "weird" as you call it.

I think during a shootout the only appropriate thing to have is silence. Other than some grunts and moans if you are shot or calling out to your allies or communicating. Other than that I don't think weird noises, especially ones directed to one specific person is acceptable. Now seeing that there are some things that you can do In Real Life but you can't do on the server due to the rules to keep people in check. I think maybe you would be able to make a weird or odd noise In Real Life if you were doing it maybe once on accident, but one directed to someone loudly and over and over again. Highly doubt that it would happen.

Hello, and thank you for submitting this player report! I would like to take this opportunity to thank both parties involved for remaining patient while this report has been carefully reviewed. With that being said, after extensively reviewing this player report as well as taking the statements of both parties into account, i have decided to conclude this report.

The behaviour displayed by the reported party is something which is not considered as ordinary or even ideal during situations like these, however limiting and regulating the sounds that players make during shootouts is far too excessive and not something enforced unless incredibly unrealistic, which i do not consider the sounds of the reported party to be. This player report could have been avoided through communication between both parties, and taking into consideration that the reported party kept the sounds to a minimum level and even went as far as to apologize when confronted regarding his loud sounds, i do not feel this player report should extend a simple reminder to keep obnoxious sounds and high volumes to a minimum.

In the future, please do not take reporting another player lightly and reserve player reports for situations that have caused severe loss or were abused for benefit. Consider if you could possibly teach this player or if you've tried to come to a resolution on your own. Reporting another player should be reserved for your final options when a rule breach has occurred. There will be no punishments.

Thank you for remaining patient and submitting this player report! @IsThisSeige
This report is rejected and archived.
