ID 163 Non RP

Recommended Posts

Player(s) being reported: ID 163
Date of interaction reported: 26/02/2020
Unix time stamp from HUD: 1582746854

Your characters name: Jaehyun Kim

Other player(s) involved: n/a

Specific rule(s) broken:

8. Non-Roleplay (NRP)

  • Actions that are unrealistic or promote poor quality roleplay are considered as non-roleplay.

  • Examples of actions that are considered as non-roleplay:

• Cop Baiting - Provoking a reaction from emergency services without a realistic reason.

• Mercy Killing - Asking to be killed by a friend (Killing a friend falls under deathmatching).

• Unrealistic stunt jumping or the use of an expensive vehicle to ram into other vehicles.

• Spawning a scripted work vehicle and using it for crimes or submerging any vehicle in water.

• Swimming in water for an unrealistic amount of time or without a destination during a chase.

  • Players who disconnect during roleplay must reconnect and inform other parties in order to resume roleplay. If you are unable to reconnect it may be excused after providing proof.

  • In a situation where a player gets away from an incident where they're being chased/pursued, they must wait 15 minutes before they can logout. Players should not instigate roleplay situations if they do not have time to play it through.

  • Players who ignore answering roleplay commands directed at them, e.g. /do.

  • In a situation where a player’s game crashes or the player is kicked from the server, they should be allowed to have the same advantages as they have had before their leave.

  • Players should not deprive other players of roleplay, e.g. early on the interaction asking them not to speak unless it makes sense in the roleplay situation.

How did the player break the rule(s)?

We were chasing a vehicle and I'm guessing his gang mate (163)  joined in to help him. ID 163 rammed me off of the road which is Non-RP.

Evidence of rule breach:

Please do not take reporting another player lightly and reserve player reports for situations that have caused severe loss or were abused for benefit. I don't have my POV since nobody told me I was going to be reported, not really sure why you reported me when you can see I was driving normally without being affected by your car, in your own footage you are also lagging quite a bit.

@ogmudbone In the footage provided it can be seen that your game is lagging, is this an issue with your recording software or do your frames actually drop during gameplay?
I would also like to receive footage from another officer who was involved in the pursuit as this could confirm what @Ethan Turner is saying about the lag.

It is a problem with my shadowplay as you can see my frames at around 60 fps. You don't need to make contact with the car you're ramming to hit them in rage. It depends on connection to the server. Example below. I will try to see if another officer has footage. Why would you try to interfere in a chase with your expensive car and why would you drive so close to me and drive between me and another officer if you were "driving normally down the road".

No one has footage of it but I can get two mods who were present to testify if need be.

Thank you for your patience while this report was under review.

After reviewing this report and evidence attached to it, I have decided to deny this report for the following reason(s):

  • In the footage provided you can see that Timothys car did not make any sudden abrupt turns and kept going straight the whole time, if he was attempting a desync PIT his car would divert to the left or right, however it did not change his straight line of travel therefore will be denied today.

This decision is final. Unless instructed to, if you post another player report pertaining to this incident, you may be muted from posting on the forums for a temporary period. If you disagree with the outcome of this report, please file an appeal following the appeal guidelines and format.
