14. Deathmatch (DM)
Deathmatching is the act of attacking a player without a proper roleplay reason and interaction.
Examples of valid reasons to attack another player:
• If they attempt to arrest or hurt you, an ally, or damage your property.
• If they report you to the police for a serious crime.
• If they are not in compliance with plausible demands, attempt to escape, or call backup.
A player cannot kill their victim if the victim is in compliance with the demands.
A player must allow their victim enough time to comply with the demands.
If a player informs you that your VOIP isn’t working, you must either fix your VOIP using appropriate commands or use text to deliver your demand(s).
Vehicles cannot be used to attack a player on foot more than once, including a failed attempt.
Killing a player that has obeyed all orders and demands during a roleplay situation is allowed, with roleplay, only within 3 hours of:
 Severe hostile or criminal action is taken against you, e.g. someone is robbing you at gunpoint. (Excluding police aiming a gun at you.)
  Someone is attempting to take your life.
  Someone is attempting to take the life of your close friend or ally, or if you have witnessed it happen.
You must explain your reason to kill to the player IC and have OOC evidence proving your reason.

How did the player break the rule(s)?

I was about to go and play some poker so i took money out and started driving from bank to tiqui la la on my way a few green cars came past me then turned around to follow me, No interaction with them before this point what so ever, one shouts pussy from his car and nothing else was said, Then one of them was on the other side of the road coming right at me, he decides to ram/block my path, I swerve trying to avoid it, he still swerves more and then hits me into a wall. I see this as VDM as he used his car to attack me with no proper RP reason what so ever.

Hi, Lucas Laurie here

Firstly, I would like to say that my reasoning of behind this is that I did not have the intend of ramming the OP but just to block the road.

Secondly, as can be seen from my POV when the OP swerved to the right, I didn't accelerate and I had slowed down due me only wanting to block him and to not ram him. I do think that due to the space being tight, we hit eachother.

Lastly, the OP didn't lose anything in this situation and just reporting due to frustration out of IC matters that they didn't like.

Edit: I said radio after Willie_Laurie said why did I ram that my intend was to block and not ram. This can be seen from my video, you swerved to right where it is tight and the sides bumped. If I had the intent to ram you I would've accelerated when you were passing me or tried to ram you from a different angle.

Sorry but you telling me you should only report a rule brake if you lose somthing? The fact is you attempted to ram/block me so your gang could rob me. From no interaction what so ever and also no demands. I had 20k cash on me as I was going to play poker, if you had succeeded and i lost the 20k then you seem to think it's ok to report you? Dont think the server and rules work this way. for someone who has played on this server for the amount of time you have, think you should know the difference.  Also you can see in his own point of view that his gang members said on radio not to ram me, then asked him why he did ram when he done it?

After reviewing this report and evidence attached to it, I've decided to accept this report and issue punishment(s) to the following player(s):

Lucas_Laurie [ID 227] - (V)DM #2 -  The speeds at which you were driving make that block unacceptable. This block inevitably resulted in a ram and we are confident that had the OPs car stalled that he would have been robbed. We find this to be a breach of DM rules and therefore this punishment is being issued to you today.

If you have received a punishment that you disagree with, feel free to file a punishment appeal following the punishment appeal guidelines and format. If the reporting party suffered a loss greater than $25,000 in value, feel free to file a refund request following the refund request guidelines and format.

After review, it was discussed that this is not an example of VDM and that the actions of the Kamacho were within reasonable RP therefore the punishment will be voided and lifted.
