Recommended Posts

Player(s) being reported: ID 64
Date of interaction reported: 19.02.2020
Unix time stamp from HUD:  1582217090

Your characters name: Niko Shakur

Other player(s) involved: Quinn Okafor @allu99 (was DM'd)

Specific rule(s) broken:

"7.2.1 Deathmatch is the act of killing or hurting another player (or damaging their property) without a proper roleplay reason.
An attempt to break this rule will result in a temporary or permanent ban."

"6.6.1. Players are not allowed to disconnect from a roleplay or combat situation that could have negative in-characterconsequences. If your game crashes, you must reconnect to the server and inform the parties involved with youbefore the crash and ask them if they want to continue roleplaying the scenario."

How did the player break the rule(s)?

Me and Quinn were at the mechanic shop waiting for the gates to open to steal some vehicles. ID 64 ran to us and tried to get into our (stolen) car. We stopped him and robbed him and while he was being robbed Quinn found out they had common friend. At this point I lowered my gun and Quinn gave him back his stuff and we cut his hair for jokes. We let him stay and even showed the way out.

10-20 minutes later he jumps over the gate and randomly shoots Quinn with no warning or roleplay at all. You can see him saying "wtf" in the screenshot. I run behind the shop to reach for my gun when he starts chasing me and I manage to kill him. As soon as I try to take his stuff he leaves the game and doesnt come back. Its important to note that he had a shotgun on him so it explains why he didnt want to lose his stuff.

Thank you for your patience as we reviewed the report. Prior to concluding this report, we would like to hear statements from the players as specified below

  • Marat_Smirnov | ID 64 -  Please provide your POV on this situation if you have it and explain your involvement within it. Why can you be observed logging out in the middle of rp?

The above mentioned players will be notified in game as appropriate and will receive 24 hours to provide their side of the story. We look forward to hearing back from you!

Thank you for your patience while this report was under review.

After reviewing this report and evidence attached to it, I've decided to accept this report and issue punishment(s) to the following player(s):

  • Marat_Smirnov [ID 64] - Non RP #2 | Combat Logging -  You logged off in the middle of rp and did not reconnect, alert anyone to any issues, or try to contact anyone involved. The rules clearly state what to do in case of a disconnect:

Players who disconnect during roleplay must reconnect and inform other parties in order to resume roleplay. If you are unable to reconnect it may be excused after providing proof.

  • We do not find you to be in breach of DM rules however as per the reported own account you had been robbed previously by them which grants you the rights to engage. Please reread the server rules to see how you can improve your rp interactions and avoid situations such as this in the future.

If you have received a punishment that you disagree with, feel free to file a punishment appeal following the punishment appeal guidelines and format. If the reporting party suffered a loss greater than $25,000 in value, feel free to file a refund request following the refund request guidelines and format.

Regards,

Jasmine and Krooks365
