13. Fear Roleplay (FRP)

• Fear roleplay is the concept of roleplaying fear for your character’s safety and life.

• Examples (but not limited to), where your character’s life is considered to be in direct danger:

• When you are on foot or bike and a weapon is aimed at you at close range.

• When you’re in a vehicle that is stalled or turned off and a weapon is aimed at you close range.

• When the attacker lowers their weapon to type or roleplay, your life remains in direct danger.

• Driving a vehicle into an active shootout more than once without the intent of protecting a friend, fleeing with it, or using it as cover.

• Examples (but not limited to), where your character’s life is NOT considered to be in direct danger:

• When you are in a car which engine is not stalled.

• When you have a firearm drawn and are facing the other person before they attacked.

• When the attacker’s view is obstructed by an object or when they turn their back on you.

• As a victim, whose life is in direct danger:

• You must display reasonable value for your life and comply with the demands of your attacker.

• You cannot call 911 or call your friends or allies to aid you.

Guy just dipped when we said get out of the car and put your hands up. I was pointing in him atleast 5sec.

@DrizzyDre @RedHot  Hey to be fair from my point of view the individual drove up between me and another vehicle that i was with in the dark. He shouted hands up get on your knees which was confusing to me due to the fact that all of us were in a running vehicle (my window status was actually up at the time).  I was under the impression that fear rp wouldn't have effected me due to the fact that  my vehicle was not stalled, off or  was I on foot or a bike.   My natural response was to drive off like everyone else. I didn't realize that I was being targeted until they started chasing me and firing at me.  Im not trying to ruin anybody's RP experience  nor conduct myself in a malicious way. The individual actually pm me in the middle of the situation to state their side. I told the individual that I thought  I was good in the situation and if not I was sorry.  Watching the video makes me wonder about this report. Even after saying sorry on my part for any misunderstanding.  If they were able to stall my vehicle or clap me would there be a report?

@Evaldas_ When you pm and we spoke  and I thought that this should have been squashed on the spot. I told you on the spot sorry for any misunderstanding.  Everybody's action in every situation in Eclipse is not going to be perfect and everybody is going to have a different pov. You roll up 4 deep all yelling different things, anybody's nature reaction is going to be drive off. Like I said in my defense I didn't know I was the target until y'all  started chasing and shooting at me. If you listen to your own video clearly you can also hear someone yelling off the bike which made me feel like I was doing the right thing by pulling off and reassess the situation. Also in the dark at that distance  bro Its extremely hard to tell whats going on in the vehicle next to you. I didn't do anything malicious like i said before. If Im wrong I have no problem correcting my mistakes and owning up to it. I have nothing else to add .

PLAYER REPORT DENIED

After reviewing this report and evidence attached to it, I have decided to deny this report for the following reason(s): First of all I would like to talk about aiming weapons from a vehicle. I have spoken with other Mod+ about this and we came to the conclusion that putting someone under fear RP from a vehicle just isnt clear enough, it is coming up time and time again and while for you, you know you are pointing a weapon for them playing in 3rd person they would be unable to see this. In future if you want to place someone under fear RP then get out of the car and make it clear who you are aiming at. This decision is final. Unless instructed to, if you post another player report pertaining to this incident, you may be muted from posting on the forums for a temporary period.
