15. Player Theft, Prison Breakout, and Kidnapping

• Players cannot force their victims to withdraw money from an ATM, sell property, or sell vehicles.

• Players cannot force their victims to hand over assets that are not present in the area.

• Players cannot steal from players with “NEW PLAYER” above their head unless it is in retaliation. 

• Players with the (( NEW PLAYER )) tag that deliberately insert themselves into or start active crime scenes lose their new player protection during those illegal activities.

• Players may not steal from their faction treasury as the F4 menu is OOC.

• Permission for prison break must be approved by a Moderator+ prior to the attempt.

• Players may participate in no more than 1 prison break attempt within 1 OOC week.

• Official Factions may attempt 2 additional breaks in the case the prisoner is the faction leader.

• Players are allowed to kidnap or to take other players hostage for these specific reasons:

• You have to have a roleplay reason to kill the victim in accordance with the a, b, and c points under DM section.

• If you attempt to commit robbery of a property, you are allowed to hold the players within that property until you have finished the robbery. An NPC is not a valid hostage.

• If a hostage situation involves police in any way all of players involved in holding the hostage may not take another hostage for 1 OOC week.

How did the player break the rule(s)?

So I just sold my stuff here at the farm place, and carried a dead body off to "Get buried" (A previous altercation I was not involved in, I have proof if req'd) - I was just making rp with the medic, the medic leaves, and two guys pull up (35 and 59) - 59 was keeping a look out and even apologized to me... I knew what player 35 was doing, although there wasn't much interaction... as can be seen. I explained in ooc that he wasn't allowed to rob me just yet, and he ignored and carried on, due to rp - I carried on, I tried to warn him again, and his response was "Report me" - as can be seen in the video.

I PM'd him before the report, and he tried saying I had the wrong person, and was laughing, saying that he had only just logged on and I had the wrong person.

I don't mind particularly about being robbed, Guess it's part of the game, I have nothing of value, he took my phone battery and Knife, so I have to figure out how to get a new battery now...

The only reason for this report really, Is because of his attitude - "Report me" and then tried saying I had the wrong person etc, If he's like that with me, he's probably like it with other new players too..

I will upload a video the same player id 35 run over the farmer without any valid reason . And after this he broke NCZ + VDM at bank .

My teammates will do a separate report for that ,i will post the farmer VDM here .

 

Or @Nightranger if you have the video when he run you over upload it yourself .

thats james diamond  he is notorious for breaking rules. we had two guns pointed at him, albeit empy guns but still he was within 3 ft of both of us and he whipped out his gun and killed us. There was no rp hints or anything at all to show that the guns had no ammo. in addition to that he robbed one of my guys who is also new to the city while mining. and when the rooks raided his home he threw out a ton of ooc insults. I legit do not know how he hasnt been banned yet it pisses me off.

Why did you place the reporting party under gunpoint and shortly after rob him all while he was a new player? Are you knowledgeable about the server rules regarding player theft?

Secondly, ID 35 Moses_Jones | @PineappleSoda,
Why did you take the battery of the reporting party without engaging in any prior roleplay? Are you aware that roleplay must be done prior to using any forceful server commands?

Thirdly, ID 35 Moses_Jones | @PineappleSoda,
Why did you utilize your vehicle to run the reporting party over and place him in a rag-doll state, before driving your vehicle on top of him and ultimately putting him in an injured state?

The aforementioned parties will receive 24 hours to respond with their side of the story and explain the reasoning for their actions seen in the provided evidence.

On a side note, @jaredpav i am not quite sure on your involvement in this report but in the case that you are not involved, please adhere to the player report guidelines stating that players who are not directly involved in the report may not post unless providing pertinent and substantial evidence that may change the outcome of the report. Hello, and thank you for remaining patient! As more than enough time has passed for the reported party to respond with his side of the story and explain the reasoning for his actions, myself and @Emulsify have decided to conclude this report based on the provided evidence and statement given to us by the reporting party.

Player Moses_Jones will receive a Non-Roleplay punishment for breaching the player theft rules | Offense #6.

Player Moses_Jones will receive a punishment for Deathmatch Offense #1.

First and foremost, we would like to address the punishment of Non-Roleplay and the reasoning behind it. In the provided evidence of this report, it can be seen that you approach the reporting party with your vehicle, before stepping out, placing him under direct gunpoint and ultimately robbing him of all his items. The issue that arises with this situation is that your actions are not in accordance with our player theft rules. As outlined in the Player Theft rule(s), a player with the “New Player” tag above their character may not be robbed unless it is in retaliation OR they deliberately insert themselves and or start active crime scenes, and as this was not the case you you are in violation of the server rules. The fact that the reporting party informed you multiple times through out of character means that you are not allowed to rob him as he is a new player should have prompted you to abort the robbery and return the items rather than brushing it off and encouraging him to make a report. The roleplay as well as the actions displayed by you in this player report is absolutely not acceptable at any level, and is most certainly not welcomed on the server. I sincerely hope this permanent ban makes you reflect on your actions, read up on the rules and acknowledge that what you did during this situation is not acceptable in a million years on this community.

Secondly, we would like to address the punishment of Deathmatch and the reasoning behind it. In the provided evidence of this report, it can be seen that shortly after you had robbed the reporting party, he returns back to you and engages in a slightly hostile conversation. In turn, you reverse your vehicle and utilize it you run over the reporting party up to a point where he is placed in an injured state all for seemingly no valid reason. The issue that arises with this situation is that your actions are not in accordance with our Deathmatch rules. It is very likely to assume that your reasoning for running the reporting party over was due to the slightly hostile conversation, but as this conversation does not move to a physical level or escalate to a point where it would warrant or grant you the ability to attack, hurt and or kill you are in violation of the Deathmatch rules. You have to understand that the current deathmatch rules state that valid reason as well as proper roleplay engagement must be established prior to attacking another player, and as this was not the case you are in violation of the deathmatch rules. Please take this punishment as an opportunity to reflect on your actions, and make sure that moving forward you do so in a way where this is not repeated.
