Deathmatch (DM) Deathmatching is the act of attacking a player or their property without a proper roleplay reason. Examples of valid reasons to attack another player: • If they attempt to arrest or hurt you, an ally, or damage your property. • If they report you to the police for a serious crime. • If they are not in compliance with demands, attempt to escape, or call other players for help in a situation where they are required to display fear under fear roleplay rules. A player cannot kill their victim if the victim is in compliance with the demands. A player must allow their victim enough time to comply with the demands. If a player informs you that your VOIP isn’t working, you must either fix your VOIP using appropriate commands or use text to deliver your demand(s). Vehicles cannot be used to attack another player more than once including a failed attempt. Attacking another player with no engagement in roleplay is not allowed. Killing a player that has obeyed all orders and demands during a roleplay situation is allowed, with roleplay, only within 3 hours of: Severe hostile or criminal action is taken against you, e.g. someone is robbing you at gunpoint. (Excluding police aiming a gun at you.) Someone is attempting to take your life. Someone is attempting to take the life of your close friend or ally, or if you have witnessed it happen. You must explain your reason to kill to the player IC and have OOC evidence proving your reason. How did the player break the rule(s)? These players got out with no demands under fear roleplay and killed me. As a result of this ID 106 finished me without a valid reason also. Berlin Posted October 27, 2019 Report Share Posted October 27, 2019 Hello I'm ID 182, We saw them having a car accident and we came back to rob them, at min 0:47 I told him to get out of the car with an AK-47 in my hands pointed at him, he got out of the car and at min 0:50 you can clearly see how he pulled out the gun to fight us, in that moment i decided that it's better for me to kill him instdead of waiting to be shot. we offered him simple demands and he didn't comply with the vehicle being stalled. He broke the Fear RP rule. It's strange that you report me for your mistakes. Also i want to point out that he went to ooc and i told him that he took out his gun, he says the gun was already in his hand. BUT in his video you can see that he tried to take out his weapon. Chrisy Posted October 27, 2019 Author Report Share Posted October 27, 2019 The demands that were said mean absolutely nothing as you were in a different vehicle with no fear active. I had no reason to fear for my life cause you said "get out the car". As for me taking my pistol out, there was a I pressed tab as soon as I got out off my vehicle at 51 seconds at which point you can see that you have only begun to also take out your gun so fear also doesn't apply here. In OOC I did state you are correct but a simple press of tab I didn't realise I had done so, so my apology for the confusion. Sometimes when you get into vehicles with a gun in your hand the gun is already out but it still doesn't change the point as there was no reason at the current period of time for me not to pull out my gun or a valid reason for you to shoot me or ID 106 to finish me. Because we gave him simple demands to step out of the vehicle and surrender, their engine was stalled too. Then he decided to step out and take his gun out, I saw him taking his pistol out, if he didn't do it obviously i wouldnt shoot him. But i fear for my life and shoot him before he shoots me, https://streamable.com/xdndf at 0:49 you can see he attempted to take out his gun while i was pointing my AK at him. I think what i did makes sense in this scenario, since if you are pointing a gun at someone in real life and you see him taking his gun out, you would fear for your life and shoot him to protect your life and We were 4 guys and they were only 2. Lets be honest, he was going to shoot me with his pistol if i didn't kill him; right? No one shoots at his friend who was the driver Because if you take a closer look at 0:48 while we are aiming at them, his friends gets out of the car and DOES NOT MOVE, so no one shoots at him But @Chrisy gets out of the car and MOVES while trying to take OUT his pistol. So we need to take a fast decision to shoot him or not and clearly, like everyone else I fear for my life and shoot him before i get hurt or killed. Driving your vehicle shouting demands are not valid demands. He is not under fearRP until you have a gun pointed at him. You could have easily given him demands at this point, which you did not. You simply shot him down. If you have received a punishment that you disagree with, feel free to file a punishment appeal following the punishment appeal guidelines and format. If the reporting party suffered a loss greater than $25,000 in value, feel free to file a refund request following the refund request guidelines and format.
