Non-Roleplay (NRP) Actions that are unrealistic or promote poor quality roleplay are considered as non-roleplay. Examples of actions that are considered as non-roleplay: • Cop Baiting - Provoking a reaction from emergency services without a realistic reason. • Mercy Killing - Asking to be killed by a friend (Killing a friend falls under deathmatching). • Unrealistic stunt jumping or the use of an expensive vehicle to ram into other vehicles. • Spawning a scripted work vehicle and using it for crimes or submerging any vehicle in water. • Swimming in water for an unrealistic amount of time or without a destination during a chase. Players who disconnect during roleplay must reconnect and inform other parties in order to resume roleplay. If you are unable to reconnect it may be excused after providing proof. How did the player break the rule(s)? Myself and ID 56 gave him the 1st demand to drop the gun at 0:14 after that we had then told him 7 more times to drop the gun that lead to his death at 1:16 1 minute and 2 seconds later. when i seen him say in OOC "i just came back after 1 year" i thought it was his excuse to try and not make us not rob him but then i thought after a few seconds he may of forgot how to drop the gun so i wrote the command for dropping the gun in OOC "/dropgun" to help him, it took a further 26 seconds after me giving him the command to drop the gun but instead he finished typing and the gun was still not dropped. After leaving and informing him about this report i noticed that he was a very experienced player having over 240k EXP on just this character alone, even if he had been away from the game for one year (as he claimed) i don't believe he would forget such a simple command that he probably would've used multiple times every day when he was active and i even wrote it in the OOC chat for him although he was not shy to guns (SMG ON BACK) The end result was me and ID 56 not getting the .50 gun or the smg and both of us being charged with the murder from this event and ending with jail time, fines, losing my own .50 and items from the arrest including the impounding of my vehicle this is why i have made the report. i would also like to say not once did he ask how to or whats the command to drop the gun but instead took 1 minute and 2 seconds for him to still be standing there with his guns Video evidence below Edited October 22, 2019 by Dylan Ortiz Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

ID 56 when exiting the vehicle is seen holding B to point whilst withdrawing his weapon, to my knowledge this is an exploit for them to aim faster and overall use it to their own advantage of aiming at someone much faster. I came against these people today as well and have a gif of the same person doing the exact same thing against me, as well as in my opinion breaking fear RP and will make a report once I fix my shadow play. I spoke to an admin about this and they had no idea about it but, I feel it's worth mentioning that ID 56 could actually be exploiting in the video. Firstly I just loggen in in this game after a two month or more of absence and I wasnt playing much overall in pass more then half year at all (please check the time stamp of me logging in and the time stamp video start, you will see a difference of max 10-20 secs). I logged in the game, my game surroundings is loading up, a box of teleport comes up (since i wasnt in game long and server restarts were there for sure). These guys pulls up waiting for people to spawn and abuse the spawn spot (powergame and nonrp I would say) and as I spawn they insta come to be hostile atleast thats how its looks like. I am a bit confused for sure, I just spawned, my game loading, people yelling, havent played for some significant time, not even used to the new patches , such as SMG being on the back even when its not equipped since i havent seen this before. I was writing /report 3 when i made my hands up and im not sure if I even pressed enter in the stress there and confusion of being spawn abused. I admit I was rusty, but I think yo uwere too fast to kill me anyways and you killed me because random police officer came there which would be kind of DM I suppose, but staff will have a better look into it cuz im even rusty on the rules, its my first day back from an absence of a month or 2 im not even sure.So all in all: 1) I spawned and I insta got put under fearrp because of a spawn abuse 2) I am rusty with the command cuz of long absence (staff check my log in times before this interaction time) 3) I believe I was shot to ofast to avoid rp of /me's and /do's because they heard sirens 4) I am just setting up video programs to record the gameplay cuz I just renewed my pc setup. So now it’s 1-2 months not 1 year since relogging? You were standing there when we pulled up in fact you just had taken a few steps forward no sign of logged in at all, also no one forces you or anyone to log out at the parking lot that’s your own choice on where you want to log out. I have never robbed anyone who I’ve watched log in or seen log in before There was no /mes or /do from you once the whole time, matter of fact nothing was even said after you lied in ooc by saying it’s been a year since your log in. you also said the smg was not equipped, if that's the case why did you not drop it after been told to drop both the guns? that's as simple as press I then clicking on it. even at 1:15 seconds when you had stop typing the gun was still in your hands. you did not once say anything about you can't or how to? yet again i typed how to drop the gun in OOC. Like I said you have 240k exp on just this character alone and only 1-2 months since last played (apparently again) not to mention me showing you the command in ooc and still not but still not being able to drop a gun in the 1 minute and 2 seconds you were given? You also say you were stressed with all the yelling as far as robbing someone i don't think we could of been any calmer for the first 30 seconds on the video it was very slow and clear demands. There was no random police that came the officer was called during the robbery you took far too long to follow a simple command and the police rocked up from the phone call. we came from high end, no one was "waiting for people to spawn". here's a screenshot with the timestamp 1 minute before this video on the way to the parking lot so if we were "waiting for you" why would we be at high end? I was just resyncing my gun so it was visible to everyone else because if i dont then no one can see my gun when i exit any vehicles. It looks like this when i dont press b or roll. Dylan Ortiz Posted October 25, 2019 Author Report Share Posted October 25, 2019 Hi thanks for the reply @Brawnkoh, to start off with i have sent you on discord a full in depth report on what point does and you have a copy of this. but just to explain it here as well, If you have a gun when you exit a vehicle in your hand the other player will see no gun and if you aim it they will see the photo from above. what this means is every bullet you shoot will not register at all, pointing or rolling with the gun already in your hand will Resync the gun into the game allowing the other players to see the gun and also take damage from the gun. Below is some photos from the eclipse discord where @CBulletis telling someone to roll to avoid desync just last monday, pointing is no different than rolling. the pointing mechanic you are talking about is only applied if you gun is not out in your hand and you do it to speed up the process of this of which we do NOT use. as for the video if you watch the video ID 56 is holding B for 2 whole seconds, this is not to pull the gun out of his back, it is to resync the gun he holds it for longer then it would take to remove the gun from your back. what you will also notice is i didnt even press tab, meaning my gun was already out in my hand so all we are doing is resyncing the gun to the server yet again no diffrent then what rolling does. photos below even @Mickeyyysaid on this video below "as from watching the video below its obvious a desync bug" 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

After reviewing this report and evidence attached to it, I've decided to accept this report and issue the punishments to the following players: [Kent_Silver [ID #]] - [NonRP] - [Offense #3] - [Stalling RP] Kent, I believe you were stalling here. I do understand the popup screen came up, but I believe you had time after that due to your actions, and you continued to stall. I believe it is your responsibility to log out in a safe area, not the attackers responsibility to keep track of when/where you log in/out. As far as the pointing to sync weapons, this is being used to "fix" guns not showing in hands. However, this can also be resolved by putting your weapon away before getting into the car, and scroll wheeling it out when you get out. I believe there is a fix coming for this in the semi-near future. I'm really not a fan of it. It makes no sense to hop out of a vehicle and start pointing at people with your finger. If you have received a punishment that you disagree with, feel free to file a punishment appeal following the punishment appeal guidelines and format. If the reporting party suffered a loss greater than $25,000 in value, feel free to file a refund request following the refund request guidelines and format.
