TwoPuff
Player(s) being reported: ID 39 (DOC guard) Date of interaction reported: 10/20/2019 Unix time stamp from HUD: 1571579448 Your characters name: Richard Williams Other player(s) involved: ID 103 Specific rule(s) broken: 8. Non-Roleplay (NRP) Actions that are unrealistic or promote poor quality roleplay are considered as non-roleplay. Examples of actions that are considered as non-roleplay: • Cop Baiting - Provoking a reaction from emergency services without a realistic reason. • Mercy Killing - Asking to be killed by a friend (Killing a friend falls under deathmatching). • Unrealistic stunt jumping or the use of an expensive vehicle to ram into other vehicles. • Spawning a scripted work vehicle and using it for crimes or submerging any vehicle in water. • Swimming in water for an unrealistic amount of time or without a destination during a chase. Players who disconnect during roleplay must reconnect and inform other parties in order to resume roleplay. If you are unable to reconnect it may be excused after providing proof. In a situation where a player gets away from an incident where they're being chased/pursued, they must wait 15 minutes before they can logout. Players should not instigate roleplay situations if they do not have time to play it through. Players who ignore answering roleplay commands directed at them, e.g. /do. In a situation where a player’s game crashes or the player is kicked from the server, they should be allowed to have the same advantages as they have had before their leave. How did the player break the rule(s)? I was in prison, there was this other dude, ID 12 at the time. Me and him were IC'ly fighting in prison which ID 39 (The DoC Guard) comes along and sides with ID 12 OOC'ly. I'm guessing their friends because they acted like it. However ID 12 never got any IC punishment or anything and he was even seen throwing hits. Somehow me and ID 103 gets locked in a cage with cuffs on and she refuses to remove them. I told her in /pm that I'm about to get out soon and need the cuffs off and she totally ignored me. I do not have the SS of this as I only have the one because my game crashed. Althought with ID 12 that may be considered all IC that she may have sided with him throughout the process but it's still not acceptable to cuff a player up, knowing they only have 5 minutes left and refuse to uncuff you as she knows when someone is in cuffs they can't do anything. As she knew I was being released, upon being released cuffs would be removed. As you can see in the photo below. I am released and I'm still cuffed. Also you can see where ID 103 was complaining about the same thing. Update 1: Got back in game, can't use the parking garage. Pressing Y doesn't work. I assume its because she left me cuffed. Other features that the script prevents you from using while cuffed are also restricted. #2: After 10 minutes of being released, walking around the city to find a car to drive because I can't retrieve mine from the garage, it seems like my character is in a different world. I don't see anyone or any cars at the bank/garage or PD. Ezrya
Hi I was the DOC officer in this situation, I cuffed him as he was fighting with ID 12. ID 12 stopped but he continued so I cuffed him and put him in a cell to calm down. I was not aware he had little time left as I didn't see the PM due to I had a lot of text on my screen because of faction chat plus dep radio anyone who is in a gov faction will know that dep radio can make you miss certain text when it's going fast. When I saw him get released I was going to uncuff him but I was still in the middle of a RP scenario with another inmate which I couldn't just leave. He later PM'd me again he was still cuffed and I replied I will come get him soon in return he said that he's logging off now and making a report. It's not my fault he logged off so I couldn't get him I couldn't just leave RP with another inmate. Admin handling this report can check logs that I did indeed say I would come uncuff him. I apologize for not noticing you didn't have long left but it was just a simple mistake that happens sometimes, this isn't the first time I have seen this happen within DOC. This is all I have to say on the situation, if the admin handling the report has anymore questions feel free to ask and I will answer the best I can.
TwoPuff
It's quite annoying even when I told you is all I'm saying. I still can't do anything on that character because it's cuffed. Please do check the logs as her telling me via /pm that she would uncuff is a lie. I would'e stayed on lmao
Brawnkoh
PLAYER REPORT DENIED Thank you for your patience while this report was under review. After reviewing this report and evidence attached to it, I have decided to deny this report for the following reason(s): You being cuffed in prison is an IC issue, not an OOC issue. There are multiple ways you can get uncuffed either ICly (waiting for guards at the front) or OOCly by using the /report function IG. Your dimension needing reset is an OOC issue which can be resolved by /report IG or by walking into an interior of places like tattoo shops/hospitals and walking back out again. This was not caused by the DOC guard. There's no reason to go ooc over a cuff no matter how much time you have left. Whatever "side" the DOC officer takes is also an IC issue. This decision is final. Unless instructed to, if you post another player report pertaining to this incident, you may be muted from posting on the forums for a temporary period. If you disagree with the outcome of this report, please file an appeal following the appeal guidelines and format. Regards, Brawnkoh
