Metagaming (MG) Metagaming is the act of relaying IC information through any method not considered IC that has the potential to change current or future roleplay scenarios or using that information. Mixing IC and OOC information without any benefit is a minor MG offense. For example, a player uses IC chat to call someone by their player ID displayed above their head. How did the player break the rule(s)? ID 90 did not show up the first two times when ID 91 was selling the ores. when i got his hands up ID 90 suddenly showed up weilding his gun, knowing indefinitely that his friend is getting robbed. Not to mention he said couple of OOC stuff ICly. At the end he said "Ay bro we got him" proves that they were talking out of the game feeding each other information. I told you several times that you had me confused with other people you didn't believe me. You then insulted me for trying to tell you that you had the wrong guy, and as you can see from your video and the IDs I indeed wasn't the guy you accused of metagaming it was these guys none of which are Joe Gauge. After reviewing this report and evidence attached to it, I've decided to accept this report and issue the punishments to the following players: Sathyam_Rodriguez [ID 90] - Non-RP #1 - Mixing in VOIP The accusation of metagaming via other means is demonstrably provable here, despite being highly suspect and as such that will not be punished. Lastly, to the original poster, in the future avoid going into /b over In-character situations. Our rulebook strictly states that you must remain in-character at all times, there is no reason for you to go into /b here and /b is only for resolving OOC issues affecting the RP, it is not to complain about rulebreaks or argue with other players. The only thing that should have happened here is you should have PM'd the id's (not /b) that you will be filing a forum report and that is it. Remain in-character in the future. If you have received a punishment that you disagree with, feel free to file a punishment appeal following the punishment appeal guidelines and format. If the reporting party suffered a loss greater than $25,000 in value, feel free to file a refund request following the refund request guidelines and format.
