Fear Roleplay (FRP) Fear roleplay is the concept of roleplaying fear for your character’s safety and life. Examples (but not limited to), where your character’s life is considered to be in direct danger: • When you are on foot or bike and a weapon is aimed at you at close range. • When you’re in a vehicle that is stalled or turned off and a weapon is aimed at you close range. • When the attacker lowers their weapon to type or roleplay, your life remains in direct danger. • Driving a vehicle in an active shootout more than once without the intent of protecting a friend, fleeing with it, or using it as cover. Examples (but not limited to), where your character’s life is NOT considered to be in direct danger: • When you are in a car which engine is not stalled. • When you have a firearm drawn and are facing the other person before they attacked. • When the attacker’s view is obstructed by an object or when they turn their back on you. As a victim, whose life is in direct danger: • You must display reasonable value for your life and comply with the demands of your attacker. • You cannot call 911 or call your friends or allies to aid you. 7. IC and OOC Interactions Players are required to remain in-character (IC) at all times. Text chat, VOIP, radio, phone and commands like /ME and /do are to be used only for IC content. IC content must not contain acronyms like “lol” or “u” or smiley faces excluding IC SMS. For OOC content, players must use chat commands that encase the content in brackets. For example: (( this is OOC content )). OOC chat commands are /OOC, /O, /B, /PM and /F. OOC videos or screenshots can be used as IC evidence only if the footage contains the character using the /RECORD command to hold a phone in their hand. Property interiors can have cameras only if the owner roleplays installation and takes time stamped screenshots with the camera angle as evidence. Exteriors only if there is an object. You may roleplay a hidden camera, wire, or dash cam in a vehicle if recordings are unedited and include roleplay starting and ending. Attempts to search must be answered truthfully in /do. Sexual, torture, or extremely gross roleplay is allowed only if all involved parties (participants and witnesses) have agreed to it in OOC text chat, prior to the actual roleplay being performed. Only administrators are allowed force pause RP or investigate rule breaches. Only administrators are allowed to void roleplay scenarios at their discretion. Players are welcome to voice their opinion but should never disobey administrators. A /REPORT does not pause roleplay unless an admin does so. How did the player break the rule(s)? First of all thank you for taking your time to read my report first i will start with my video why my voice did not record it my headset mic got destroyed it and this week im going to change it and my voice did not record it im sorry about it and i will start how player broke rule i was hiding there to rob this person he came and get out car and i told him in /s hands up on your knees no radio or you will die he did well for my /s but he start to talk ooc and told me you making money like that i cant remember it anyway i gave him chance to do rp but he called me bitches and idiots in ooc which is ooc insult anyway you can see in video and when i was typing rp he did fear rp and pg when i was typing rp he start to punch me and i killed him and in video you can see my mic whats going on with it i will fix it . First and foremost, why did you stand up, face the reporting party and begin attacking him all while he had you placed under gunpoint at close range? Secondly, why did you insult the reporting party at numerous times through out of character means? As the reported party does not have a forum account, he will be notified of this report in-game. As more than enough time has passed for the reported party to respond with his side of the story and explain the reasoning for his actions i have decided to conclude this report based on the provided evidence and statement given to me by the reporting party. Player Micheal_Devilla will receive a Non-Roleplay punishment for breaching the Fear Roleplay rules | Offense #3. Player Michael_Devilla will receive a warning for out of character insults | Offense #1. First and foremost, i would like to address the punishment of Non-Roleplay and the reasoning behind it. In the provided evidence of this report, it can be seen that the reporting party is holding you under direct gunpoint at close range while attempting to rob you. In turn, you stand up, face the reporting party and begin punching as well as kicking him. The issue that arises with this situation is that your actions are not in accordance with our Fear Roleplay rules. If you are held under direct gunpoint at close range, which essentially means that you are in a vulnerable and life threatening situation, you are expected to display an adequate and realistic amount of fear for the life of your character, and follow every demand given to you as one instinctively would do in real life. The moment that weapon was aimed at you, you were completely unarmed and defenseless and as such you were not exempt from acting under the Fear Roleplay rules and your life was still in direct danger. It is of my belief that your first instinct while under direct danger should not be to disregard that entirely and begin attacking the reporting party but rather comply with the demands being made upon you as you were completely unarmed and defenseless at the time. Please take this punishment as an opportunity to reflect on your actions, and make sure that moving forward you do so in a way where this is not repeated. Secondly, i would like to address the warning for out of character insults and the reasoning behind it. The choosing of words from the reported party is undoubtedly wrong, as all players should strive to provide mutual respect and enjoyable roleplay to one another. As specifically outlined in the Advertising & Public Chat (6) rules, players may not use offensive language in OOC, especially when directed as an insult towards other players. Regardless of how frustrating or annoying a situation may be, resorting to offensive language and insulting someone through /ooc is not the appropriate way to handle the situation, and is in violation of our rules. Reviewing your current administrative log you have been punished for out of character insult as soon as one day ago, which hints at a slight negligence towards our chat rules and policies and you will therefore receive this following punishment as a reminder of what not to do in the future. Please take this punishment as an opportunity to reflect on your actions, and making sure that in the future you are more cautious of what you say towards other players.
