4. Harassment and Knowledge of Rule Breaches

• It is prohibited to leak personal information of another person or to make such threats. 

• It is prohibited to intimidate players from playing on the server or to continuously harass them in the game for OOC reasons to purposely make their game experience poor.

• Players must report cases of ban evasion, falsified forum reports, discussion of or jokes about cyber-attacks and other rule breaches. An attempt to hide such information is punishable.

8. Non-Roleplay (NRP)

• Actions that are unrealistic or promote poor quality roleplay are considered as non-roleplay.

• Examples of actions that are considered as non-roleplay:

• Cop Baiting - Provoking a reaction from emergency services without a realistic reason.

• Mercy Killing - Asking to be killed by a friend (Killing a friend falls under deathmatching).

• Unrealistic stunt jumping or the use of an expensive vehicle to ram into other vehicles.

• Spawning a scripted work vehicle and using it for crimes or submerging any vehicle in water.

• Swimming in water for an unrealistic amount of time or without a destination during a chase.

• Players who disconnect during roleplay must reconnect and inform other parties in order to resume roleplay. If you are unable to reconnect it may be excused after providing proof.

• In a situation where a player gets away from an incident where they're being chased/pursued, they must wait 15 minutes before they can logout. Players should not instigate roleplay situations if they do not have time to play it through. 

 

13. Fear Roleplay (FRP)

• Fear roleplay is the concept of roleplaying fear for your character’s safety and life.

• Examples (but not limited to), where your character’s life is considered to be in direct danger:

• When you are on foot or bike and a weapon is aimed at you at close range.

• When you’re in a vehicle that is stalled or turned off and a weapon is aimed at you close range.

 

How did the player break the rule(s)?

i was at sea drug lab when a "new player" rocked up in a work van he ran around the back and stole my car, i PMD him and said bring the car back as your not allowed to do that with a work vehicle but he didnt care. i then looked at his EXP and noticed he had 200exp but had the knowledge of the drug lab so far, so i went looking for him and found him trying to chop my car at scab city chop shop, i entered the car when the engine was off gave him demands to leave the car with my gun aimed at him or i would shoot him, he pretended to be afk and started the car as soon as i got out and hit me in the process of doing so, Then i did a /showvehicals and found my car sitting in the water. he also logged out within less than 5 minutes of trying to chop my car while i had him at gunpoint

A player with only 200 exp having the knowledge of a drug lab and the chop shop locations are clear that he is ban evading this guy is clearly not here to roleplay at all as he has broken 5 rules within the time i interacted with him in the space of 20 minutes

First and foremost, why did you utilize a scripted work vehicle to conduct criminal activities? Secondly, why did you completely disregards the demands of the reporting party and ultimately drive away all while he had you under direct gunpoint at close range? Thirdly, why did you disconnect from the server in less than fifteen minutes from you utilizing your vehicle to run the reporting party over at the chopshop? As the reported party does not have a forum account, he will be notified of this report in-game.

Hello, and thank you for remaining patient! As more than enough time has passed for the reported party to respond with his side of the story and explain the reasoning for his actions i have decided to conclude this report based on the provided evidence and statement given to me by the reporting party.

To start off i would like to state the following in regards to the claim of Adrian_Zeus ban evading. As of 09/OCT/2019 player Adrian_Zeus was permanently banned for ban evading. This entire conclusion as well as the following punishments will be added to his administrative log for logging purposes, however i want to make it amply clear that this player is no longer an active player of this server or the community overall. With that being said, on to the final conclusion.

Player Adrian_Zeus will receive a Non-Roleplay punishment for utilizing a scripted work vehicle for crimes | Offense #2.

In the provided evidence of this report, it can be seen that you utilize a scripted work vehicle for criminal purposes, which in this case is to steal the vehicle of the reporting party. The issue that arises with this situation is that your actions are not in accordance with our Non-Roleplay rules. The purpose of the scripted work vehicles are as the name suggests, to fulfill the duties of said scripted work and doing otherwise, specifically using it for criminal purposes would fall under non-roleplay and is not allowed.

Player Adrian_Zeus will receive a Non-Roleplay punishment for breaching the Fear Roleplay rules | Offense #3.

In the provided evidence of this report, it can be seen that the reporting party enters the backseat of your vehicle before equipping his weapon and placing you under direct gunpoint at close range while simultaneously making multiple demands for you to follow. In turn, you disregard these demands completely and begin driving away the moment the reporting party exits the vehicle. The issue that arises with this situation is that your actions are in violation of our Fear Roleplay rules. If you are held under direct gunpoint at close range, which essentially means that you are in a vulnerable and life threatening situation, you are expected to display an adequate and realistic amount of fear for the life of your character, and follow every demand given to you as one instinctively would do in real life. The moment that weapon was aimed at you, you were completely unarmed and defenseless and as such you were not exempt from acting under the Fear Roleplay rules and your life was still in direct danger. It is of my belief that your first instinct while under direct danger should not be to disregard that entirely and drive away the moment the reporting party exits the vehicle, but rather comply with the demands being made upon you as you were completely unarmed and defenseless at the time.

Player Adrian_Zeus will receive a Non-Roleplay punishment for breaching the Combat Logging rules | Offense #4.

In the provided evidence of this report, it can be seen that shortly after you manage to escape from the reporting party, you disconnect from the game. After extensively reviewing the chat logs of this situation, it can be seen that less than three (3) minutes after you manage to escape from the reporting party, you disconnect from the server. As no attempt(s) was made to inform any of the parties involved in the former roleplaying situation that you disconnect, it indicates that you leaving the server was not an accidental act but rather a purposeful and malicious one. As outlined in the Eclipse Roleplay rulebook, a player must wait fifteen (15) minutes from the moment that they manage to get away from a pursuit and or chase that they incited before they can disconnect from the server. As this was not the case, you are in violation of our rules.
