Player(s) being reported: 90
Date of interaction reported: 9/30/2019
Unix time stamp from HUD: 1569897558

Your characters name: Eric Demarco

Other player(s) involved:

Specific rule(s) broken:

10. Powergaming (PG)

  • Forceful roleplay that does not give the other player a chance to roleplay their own response is considered powergaming. Other players must be given a chance to roleplay outcomes of actions

  • Roleplay is required before forceful server commands which may be used without consent from the other party if they are unresponsive and not typing for 30 seconds or more.

4. Harassment and Knowledge of Rule Breaches

  • It is prohibited to intimidate players from playing on the server or to continuously harass them in the game for OOC reasons to purposely make their game experience poor.

How did the player break the rule(s)?

I was injured climbing a ladder and the reported party performed the /carrybody command without any roleplay (or /OOC notification of why the carrybody command was being used) I notified the user that he did not roleplay the carrybody in /ooc to inform him that it was a rule breach.  The user then continually PMed me to harass and attempt to gaslight me about the situation through PMs which then interrupted my RP with the medics and police (as can be noted from my logs with the police/medics).

Before he makes the claim I will say that I fail to see this as an OOC /carrybody as my body was slumped onto the ladder RPly. It was not as if I fell from the building and was floating mid air (as regularly happens to bank jumpers) as I was just climbing the ladder when I was injured.  This entire situation could have easily been avoided if the reported party simply did a /me and a /do (which I would have then agreed to) or a /ooc explaining his intentions which I could have replied saying to RP it (or just shot me down..).

The reported party also indicated that they think that notifying/RPing something after a forceful command was already issued is acceptable per the PMs sent which further demonstrates they did not understand the rule break involved.

Just to be clear this report likely would have not been made if not for the PMs after the incident occurred.  People should want to fix the rule breaks they are performing not harass/insult people informing them of rule breaks (and not argue that they didn't break the rules which they clearly did).

PLAYER REPORT DENIED

Thank you for your patience while this report was under review.

After reviewing this report and evidence attached to it, I have decided to deny this report for the following reason(s):

  • It was clear it was an OOC carry as you were stuck on the ladder as thats where you were shot and injured, I have also looked into the PM's and nothing bad was said, I do however see you being passively aggressive over /o saying "Too bad too sad" and "see you on the forum bud" Please in future don't make reports because you are not happy with the way a situation went.

This decision is final. Unless instructed to, if you post another player report pertaining to this incident, you may be muted from posting on the forums for a temporary period. If you disagree with the outcome of this report, please file an appeal following the appeal guidelines and format.

Regards,
RedHot
