• Deathmatching is the act of attacking a player or their property without a proper roleplay reason.

• Examples of valid reasons to attack another player:

• If they attempt to arrest or hurt you, an ally, or damage your property.

• If they report you to the police for a serious crime.

• If they are not in compliance with demands, attempt to escape, or call other players for help in a situation where they are required to display fear under fear roleplay rules.

• A player cannot kill their victim if the victim is in compliance with the demands.

• A player must allow their victim enough time to comply with the demands.

• If a player informs you that your VOIP isn’t working, you must either fix your VOIP using appropriate commands or use text to deliver your demand(s).

• Vehicles cannot be used to attack another player more than once including a failed attempt.

• Attacking another player with no engagement in roleplay is not allowed.

• Killing a player that has obeyed all orders and demands during a roleplay situation is allowed, with roleplay, only within 3 hours of:

  1.  Severe hostile or criminal action is taken against you, e.g. someone is robbing you at gunpoint. (Excluding police aiming a gun at you.)

  2.   Someone is attempting to take your life.

  3.   Someone is attempting to take the life of your close friend or ally, or if you have witnessed it happen.

• You must explain your reason to kill to the player IC and have OOC evidence proving your reason.

 

How did the player break the rule(s)?

What happened was, this guy thought I wasn't supposed to be there and robbed me, ok, but what he did was highly against the rules. At first, I didnt realize I was being robbed I thought my friend, Kadden was. I didnt get out of the car because Kadden put his hands up and it didn't seem like I was getting robbed. I thought he said "You, get in the backseat" but as soon as he said, "You in the back, get out" I jumped out immediately. He then said "hands up" and while I was typing the command, I am not the fastest but he should have at least gave me a 10 seconds, he started shooting me. Even when my hands were up he continued shooting me until injured. I do not usually like to report but I want this guy to learn from his mistakes, so I request that you give him a chance to learn. 

 

P.S. I sound weird because something is in my mouth

I wasn't there to rob him. I honestly was going to sell him some guns but the guy kept jumping in the back. I didn't know they were together. I thought he was a random that kept jumping in and out. That's why 1st location was right outside of the NCZ. That is still no excuse. I honestly had the time of compliance mixed up with my old server on FiveM called "Love Fist". I was recently told in ooc that it was in fact 30 seconds and not 10 seconds. It was a honest mistake and I take the punishment that comes with it. I fully understand what I did and I also reread the rules again. Again I'm sorry and I wasn't there to rob them or the other guy would have been robbed aswell. Im about to log in if you wanna discuss this further.   (edit: I had to count in head. I didn't have a video counter)

 

Roleplay is required before forceful server commands which may be used without consent from the other party if they are unresponsive and not typing for 30 seconds or more.

I counted, it was less then 10 seconds you gave me. And even when I did put my hands up, you shot.

If you place 10 people in 10 rooms and had them count to 10. Its going to be a miracle if 2 of them matched up exactly. If I was to eye ball and inch, mines would be different then the next persons. Still I accept whatever happens because I didn't wait 30 seconds as the rules clearly state.

I do not agree with this statement but I do hope that you do not get a horrible punishment for accepting that you broke the rules.

I just seen the video. All I have to say is "You Need A Cough Drop" I didn't hear him say he was with him. That's why I never replied to it. Sorry. I only thought he was with you because of you staying and reporting me.

Hi all and thank you for responding,

After reviewing this report and evidence attached to it I have come to this decision that [Frank_Franklin [ID 205]] - [@BigToony] will receive a verbal warning for his actions. The reasoning for this is that he has accepted his mistake. Frank_Franklin should have given John_Guarin more time to comply to his demands, and after the player has complied you can not kill them as stated here "A player cannot kill their victim if the victim is in compliance with the demands". Also If a player informs you that your VOIP isn’t working, you must either fix your VOIP using appropriate commands or use text to deliver your demand(s). 

I trust that Frank_Franklin will learn from his mistakes here and that it wont happen again. My advice is to refresh yourself with the rules before putting yourself in this situation again.
