highonquackk
Player(s) being reported: ID110,152,144 Date of interaction reported: 27/09/2019 Unix time stamp from HUD: 1569608844 Your characters name: Mark Sloan Other player(s) involved: Andi Zekiri Specific rule(s) broken: 14. Deathmatch (DM) Deathmatching is the act of attacking a player or their property without a proper roleplay reason. Examples of valid reasons to attack another player: • If they attempt to arrest or hurt you, an ally, or damage your property. • If they report you to the police for a serious crime. • If they are not in compliance with demands, attempt to escape, or call other players for help in a situation where they are required to display fear under fear roleplay rules. A player cannot kill their victim if the victim is in compliance with the demands. A player must allow their victim enough time to comply with the demands. If a player informs you that your VOIP isn’t working, you must either fix your VOIP using appropriate commands or use text to deliver your demand(s). Vehicles cannot be used to attack another player more than once including a failed attempt. Attacking another player with no engagement in roleplay is not allowed. Killing a player that has obeyed all orders and demands during a roleplay situation is allowed, with roleplay, only within 3 hours of: Severe hostile or criminal action is taken against you, e.g. someone is robbing you at gunpoint. (Excluding police aiming a gun at you.) Someone is attempting to take your life. Someone is attempting to take the life of your close friend or ally, or if you have witnessed it happen. You must explain your reason to kill to the player IC and have OOC evidence proving your reason. How did the player break the rule(s)? these guys pulled up at High end and held everyone at gun point and told every one to get on their knees. i complied and got on my knees. afterwards they demanded for me to drop my gun which i attempted to do but was unable to becuase i was kneeling on the ground with my hands up, i even relayed this information to this OOCly, even Andi who was behind me told them oocly that i need to stand up to drop my gun which i proceeded to do. after standing up i attempted to CTRL+0 to put my hands down and drop the gun but they proceeded to kill me, not giving me enough time to comply with his demands even though i fully attempted to do so through out the whole scenario Evidence of rule breach: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4E9f63p-G-E Edited September 28, 2019 by highonquackk
Dylan Ortiz
hi there ID 131 here, i would like to start off with the fact that you had been given a demand and you didn't do as told, you were given 33 seconds to follow the demands before you were shot, you can in fact drop a weapon from /down by pressing TAB then /dropgun or using your scroll wheel and /dropgun it has nothing to do with being on the floor at all you just need your weapon in your hand. even once you were standing you didn't pull your gun out to drop the gun. i personally do not understand why you even made this report as it even says in the rules that you quoted you also seem to be in law enforcement by the look of the radio chat so im more then sure you would have seen someone drop a gun from their knees Examples of valid reasons to attack another player: • If they attempt to arrest or hurt you, an ally, or damage your property. • If they report you to the police for a serious crime. • If they are not in compliance with demands, attempt to escape, or call other players for help in a situation where they are required to display fear under fear roleplay rules. (EDIT) after watching the video again i actually noticed the 1st demand to drop you gun was given at 0:10 on your video and he said "Everyone on your knees and drop your gun in front of you drop the gun in front of you" you were then shot at 1:43 meaning you had 1 minute and 33 seconds to comply from the 1st demand. not sure how much more time you needed to follow a simple demand Edited September 28, 2019 by Dylan Ortiz

alexalex303
Hello and thank you for making the report @highonquackk! After careful deliberation, we have decided on the following: Player ID 110 - Miguel Costa - will receive DM #1 for shooting down the player that was attempting to comply with his demands. The player indicated to you in /b that he is having issues dropping the gun at ~1:29 and you shot him down at ~1:43. This is unnacceptable and showcases a play to win mentality that we do not support here. If a fellow community member is having OOC issues, you should offer assistance, guidance, or if you are unable or unwilling, contact a staff team member that will do so. Shooting him down and ignoring his /b was not right. I'd also like to address your point in which you state that he had over a minute to comply, because 152 made a demand in the beginning that was super broad, however as 152 said himself, he did not have a gun at all, therefore his demand can not be used as a reason to kill him. Player ID 152 - Salvadore_Rivera - @Chris Bluestone - will receive a verbal warning for the roleplay he exhibited during this situation, constantly encouraging player ID 110 to execute a player that was having OOC issues. Just as I explained to Miguel, this is not the kind of attitude that we want to see in the server, and your number one priority should be to (OOCly) help community members when needed, and not just look for quick robberies. Sincerely, alexalex303 and MrSilky Edited September 30, 2019 by alexalex303 2
