Specific rule(s) broken: Forceful roleplay that does not give the other player a chance to roleplay their own response is considered powergaming. Other players must be given a chance to roleplay outcomes of actions. Roleplay of unrealistic actions like super strength is another form of powergaming. All statements in /DO must be factually true in the roleplay as it sets grounds for roleplay. Roleplay is required before forceful server commands which may be used without consent from the other party if they are unresponsive and not typing for 30 seconds or more. A player cannot use the faction management script to destroy a faction as it is OOC. Government funded faction members must not abuse the salary system and must go off-duty when they are not performing their faction duties. If you perform an action which will influence potential RP in the future, you must have OOC evidence of performing said RP. OOC evidence should consist of a recording or screenshot and it needs to be timestamped (/time). RP would only be valid for 48 hours or until your character dies and NLR is triggered. The time limit does not apply to rule 7. How did the player break the rule(s)? Player decided to try and rob me in the High end car DLR. I was away from the keyboard as my dog had started puking and I was attempting to get him outside and clean up the mess. Player did not receive a response so he shot me dead in my car.... Realistically if I had not had an in the moment reason to look away from my screen and clean up some puke, i would have just drove off when he pulled the gun. Contacted the player and he seems to think he just in the right. We could also mention how there is no RP of where the gun came from, he's just running down the street with a gun I guess in a high end car market? This player thinks that a high end dealership isn't going to have you know camera's? Watching for you know thieves etc? The whole situation is entirely non-rp really. After reviewing this report and evidence attached to it, I have decided to deny this report for the following reason(s): It is not the reported parties responsibility to ensure you are not AFK. It is your responsibility to not go AFK in public. There is a reason why we kick people who are AFK, as it provides a bad RP experience for not only those who are AFK, but any parties who attempt to interact with them. As far as the reported party walking around High End with a pistol, that is an IC issue, not an OOC issue. This decision is final. Unless instructed to, if you post another player report pertaining to this incident, you may be muted from posting on the forums for a temporary period.
