Non-Roleplay (DOC Officer)

Recommended Posts

Player(s) being reported: Unknown as i was killed from behind.
Date of interaction reported: 15/09/2019
Unix time stamp from HUD: 1568579287

Your characters name: Corey Aize

Other player(s) involved: ID 151
Specific rule(s) broken:

8. Non-Roleplay (NRP)

  • Actions that are unrealistic or promote poor quality roleplay are considered as non-roleplay.

  • Examples of actions that are considered as non-roleplay:

• Cop Baiting - Provoking a reaction from emergency services without a realistic reason.

• Mercy Killing - Asking to be killed by a friend (Killing a friend falls under deathmatching).

• Unrealistic stunt jumping or the use of an expensive vehicle to ram into other vehicles.

• Spawning a scripted work vehicle and using it for crimes or submerging any vehicle in water.

• Swimming in water for an unrealistic amount of time or without a destination during a chase.

  • Players who disconnect during roleplay must reconnect and inform other parties in order to resume roleplay. If you are unable to reconnect it may be excused after providing proof.

  • In a situation where a player gets away from an incident where they're being chased/pursued, they must wait 15 minutes before they can logout. Players should not instigate roleplay situations if they do not have time to play it through.

  • Players who ignore answering roleplay commands directed at them, e.g. /do.

  • In a situation where a player’s game crashes or the player is kicked from the server, they should be allowed to have the same advantages as they have had before their leave.

How did the player break the rule(s)?

So me and ID 151 were  performing a prison break, We had RPd that Amy had dropped her gun and taser along with her radio, we also asked the guard outside with us the place his gun down and slide it toward us which he did. We do currently have Amy at gun point (RPd since the guns are scripted not to be dropped) then when i'm talking to an admin about it, someone guns me down, even though we gave demands for them to go back inside and also while we had a hostage. To me this is completely unrealistic... Why would a DOC Officer risk another DOC Officer's life? It was poor RP on the officers parts.
Evidence of rule breach:

I have extra footage if necessary... I'll also tag @tnewty and @RedHot since tnewty was the mod who allowed the prison break and RedHot because i /reported and he answered IG.

I am the DOC officer, Reina_Moraine who authorized the shooting. I've got a video being exported right now that will not be available until later on this evening. I would ask Admins to review my counter footage once I have it uploaded. As to the NRP allegations against myself, in my footage you will see me performing /ldo's to Amy_Stake who was your hostage. I was gauging the hostage's position to my officer, and on her description it was said there was a meter length distance between the hostage taker and her, she was on her knees and the inmate was on his feet which would give me a clear line of fire from the inmate's head down to his torso, and seeing his positioning there was no threat to Amy_Stake through the visual of my scope if I were to engage the target. I ordered Raffaele_Bianchi @CarryOut to open fire after being 100% we had clear lanes of fire and Amy_Stake was at minimal risk of injury. In terms of counter point, you took a hostage out into a large, open field with minimal cover, and did not hold the hostage to your form and used her as a shield. I had clear lanes of fire on my part and engaged appropriately.

I still think, regardless of what RP you did, that it was completely unrealistic. If that were to hypothetically be real life they wouldn't even risk anyone's life. We were backed to a wall with a gun RP'ly to her head, even Amy said herself in PMs that you should have waited for us to even actually get guns. The fact that we told you guys on the roof to leave or she dies and you didn't comply with hostage demands just goes to show, how poor the RP was. Why would you, an officer dealing with a serious hostage situation, not comply with the demands given? They were clearly shouted to you by ID 151. Again, if necessary I'll upload the full 20 Minutes of the attempted prison break.

It will come down to admin decision. My counter evidence is still in the midst of being exported so I will upload at the earliest convenience.

Why do you need counter evidence? It doesn't matter what footage you show, its unrealistic to do what you did.

Nothing will be said on my behalf furthermore.

As per low quality if an admin is reviewing this footage shortly after this reply, it is YouTube still trying to render to a more HQ state, so if you wish to wait a small while a HQ version should be available on settings soon. As per the video, at 7:04 of the video, you can see the start of RP that got me all the information I needed to make an informed IC decision. Information gathering lasted for 8 minutes until timestamp 15:02, which after taking a physical peak after my /me peak, I was able to line up my shot, order an engagement, and end the situation. Please note the collection of all /ldo information that lead to my decision. As to Bianchi's opening fire on the other inmate not holding a weapon, I warned him not to shoot if the man was unarmed, and in an after action meeting he expressed concerns that the inmate was going for Leon_Lexit's SMG which was demanded to be left on the ground to which the officer complied. As per IC faction ruling we will be going over CCTV footage in greater detail to see if Bianchi needs to receive IC punishments.

PLAYER REPORT DENIED

Thank you for your patience while this report was under review.

After reviewing this report and evidence attached to it, I have decided to deny this report for the following reason(s):

  • After reviewing the counter evidence I see DOC roleplaying extensively alongside other Law Enforcement Agencies. I do not see any breach of rules here.

This decision is final. Unless instructed to, if you post another player report pertaining to this incident, you may be muted from posting on the forums for a temporary period. If you disagree with the outcome of this report, please file an appeal following the appeal guidelines and format.

Regards,
Administrator Rodiz
