froggytommy
Player(s) being reported: ID 44 Date of interaction reported: 10/09/2019 Unix time stamp from HUD: 1568118051 Your characters name: Karl Suptic Other player(s) involved: Jay Wick Specific rule(s) broken: 14. Deathmatch (DM) Deathmatching is the act of attacking a player or their property without a proper roleplay reason. Examples of valid reasons to attack another player: • If they attempt to arrest or hurt you, an ally, or damage your property. • If they report you to the police for a serious crime. • If they are not in compliance with demands, attempt to escape, or call other players for help in a situation where they are required to display fear under fear roleplay rules. A player cannot kill their victim if the victim is in compliance with the demands. A player must allow their victim enough time to comply with the demands. If a player informs you that your VOIP isn’t working, you must either fix your VOIP using appropriate commands or use text to deliver your demand(s). Vehicles cannot be used to attack another player more than once including a failed attempt. Attacking another player with no engagement in roleplay is not allowed. Killing a player that has obeyed all orders and demands during a roleplay situation is allowed, with roleplay, only within 3 hours of: Severe hostile or criminal action is taken against you, e.g. someone is robbing you at gunpoint. (Excluding police aiming a gun at you.) Someone is attempting to take your life. Someone is attempting to take the life of your close friend or ally, or if you have witnessed it happen. You must explain your reason to kill to the player IC and have OOC evidence proving your reason. How did the player break the rule(s)? Shot at my car when the engine was on and we were not under fear RP. Why did you fire at the reporting party as he attempts to escape? Secondly, player Cruzio_Stax | @Cruzio Stax will receive 24 hours to respond with his side of the story, and explain the reasoning for his actions which can be seen in the provided evidence of this report. Why did you carry the body of the reporting party without engaging in roleplay beforehand? Why did you begin aiming your weapon, roll around and start firing all while you were carrying the reporting party? Do you feel as if this is acceptable roleplay? As the footage depicting this part of the situation contains staff chat, it will remain hidden from the public. In addition to being tagged on the forums, you will be notified of this report in-game. Cruzio Stax
I must've mistaken by shooting the other party, I admit that I am in the wrong here and what I did was never acceptable, I apologize for all I have done and would be ready to have action taken against me. I've been shot at before in a similar situation thus I thought it was fine to shoot, but for the body thing im sure that was so unacceptable to pg it out and to shoot while carrying it, but i had not much time to drop the body since i was being shot at. Dqniel
Hello, and thank you to everyone who responded with their side of the story and explained the reasoning for their actions which can be seen in the provided evidence above. After extensively reviewing the provided evidence as well as taking the statements of all parties involved into consideration, i have decided to conclude this report. Player Cruzio_Stax will receive a punishment for Deathmatch | Offense #1 Player Cruzio_Stax will receive a Non-Roleplay punishment for Powergaming | Offense #2. First and foremost, i would like to address the punishment of Deathmatch and the reasoning behind it. In the provided evidence of this report, it can be seen that you give the reporting party multiple demands to exit the vehicle. In turn, the reporting party decides not to comply with said demands and instead drive away. As he attempts to escape the situation he is ultimately fired upon by you. The issue that arises with this situation is that your actions are not in accordance with our Deathmatch rules. It is very likely to assume that your reasoning for firing at the reporting party was due to his decision to not comply with your demands, however the current Deathmatch rules state that failure to comply with demands may only be used as a reason to attack another player if said player is in a situation where they are required to roleplay fear under the fear roleplay rules. This is not the case here, as the reporting party was not required to display fear or abide by the fear roleplay rules. The reporting party was situated in a vehicle with an engine which was not turned off or stalled, and as per the rules surrounding fear roleplay he was not required to display fear nor abide by the fear roleplay rules during this situation, thus making your seemingly valid reason to attack the reporting party insufficient and invalid. In short, if someone is situated in a vehicle with an engine which is not stalled or turned off, they do not have to abide by the fear roleplay rules and they cannot be shot for non compliance. Please take this punishment as an opportunity to reflect on your actions, and making sure that moving forward you do so in a way where this is not repeated. Secondly, i would like to address the punishment of Powergaming and the reasoning behind it. In the provided evidence of this report, it can be seen that you carry the body of the reporting party without engaging in roleplay. Furthermore, it can be seen that you begin aiming your weapon using both your hands as well as rolling around all while carrying the reporting party. This goes without saying, but the issue that arises with this is that your actions are not in accordance with our Powergaming rules. There should have been roleplay prior to carrying the body of the reporting party, including giving the reporting party the ability to change the outcome of said roleplay. Furthermore, you engaged in roleplay of unrealistic actions by carrying the reporting party while firing your weapon and rolling around which is far from ideal. Please take this punishment as an opportunity to reflect on your actions, and making sure that moving forward you do so in a way where this is not repeated. Thank you for making this report! @froggytommy Report is accepted and archived. Kind regards, Dqniel. 1
