Specific rules broken:

Metagaming (MG):

• Metagaming is the act of relaying IC information through any method not considered IC that has the potential to change current or future roleplay scenarios or using that information. 
• Mixing IC and OOC information without any benefit is a minor MG offense. For example, a player uses IC chat to call someone by their player ID displayed above their head.

Fear Roleplay (FRP):

• Fear roleplay is the concept of roleplaying fear for your character’s safety and life.
• As a victim, whose life is in direct danger:
•          You must display reasonable value for your life and comply with the demands of your attacker.
•          You cannot call 911 or call your friends or allies to aid you.

 New Life Rule (NLR):

• The new life rule is triggered whenever a player’s character spawns at a hospital. Players cannot force their own death.
• The deceased character loses memory of their death, the events that caused it and the information collected in that time frame. 
• Example: A player is killed in a robbery. The player’s knowledge of the robbery, the robber and their death is not usable by the player in their new life.
• All parties involved must avoid interaction with each other for 30 minutes. A player must not return to the area of their death for that time frame or attempt to retrieve lost possessions from involved players. An exception is made for government faction members who may provide a faction duty service, though their memory being lost and inability to retrieve assets still apply.
   

How did the players break the rules?:

Let me start off by saying this evidence was first presented on another report made against myself, @Rickyriggz, @CallumMontie and @MikeyyyG. That report can be viewed here and the specific post where the evidence was initially shared is available here. When navigating to the post you may notice the evidence is unavailable and this was due to @zatefeto deleting the clips I took from his channel. Realising his mistake, @zatefeto also deleted the VOD he presented as evidence against us and asked for the report to be closed. I feel these actions are unethical and the evidence I supplied against him should be reviewed accordingly.

ID 219 / Zate_Feto broke the Metagaming (MG) rule by utilising the personal message functionality to relay IC information. /pm is strictly OOC. This can be seen in evidence video 1.

ID 219 / Zate_Feto broke the Fear Roleplay (FRP) rule by calling 911 in a situation where he should have displayed reasonable fear for his character's safety. This can be seen in evidence video 2.

ID 219 / Zate_Feto broke the Metagaming (MG) rule by mixing OOC information via IC means. This can be seen in evidence video 3.

ID 212 / Wolfgang_Weis broke the Metagaming (MG) rule by mixing OOC information via IC means. This can be seen in evidence video 3.

ID 219 / Zate_Feto broke the Metagaming (MG) rule by mixing OOC information via IC means. Specifically, he attempts to arrange a meetup with ID 112 / Darko_Kocic via his own stream chat in evidence video 4. In evidence video 5, the players meet.

ID 112 / Darko_Kocic broke the Metagaming (MG) rule by mixing OOC information via IC means. Specifically, he attempts to arrange a meetup with ID 219 / Zate_Feto via ID 219's stream chat in evidence video 4. In evidence video 5, the players meet.

ID 219 / Zate_Feto broke the New Life Rule (NLR) rule by returning to the scene of his previous death within the 30 minute window. He also calls the police to the scene of his previous death. This can be seen in evidence video 6.

ID 219 / Zate_Feto broke the Metagaming (MG) rule by utilising the personal message functionality to relay IC information. /pm is strictly OOC. This can be seen in evidence video 7.

ID 112 / Darko_Kocic broke the Metagaming (MG) rule by utilising the personal message functionality to relay IC information. /pm is strictly OOC. This can be seen in evidence video 7.

If we assume all instances are rule breaks and NLR logs: Zate_Feto would receive NLRx7, Wolfgang_Weis would receive NLRx2 and Darko_Kocic would receive NLRx2

The evidence was posted within 48 hours but someone deleted it . It was originally here. A moderator was consulted before this report and agreed that the evidence was posted in time. That rule is to prevent people holding it back and reporting when it suits them, that's not what happened here.

All I can suggest is before creating a frivolous DM report, where only 2 violations result in a permanent ban you ensure you're following the rules yourself!

@Pistol Pete out of all of these reported situations, which were you actually involved in? As per the report guidelines, "The person reporting must be directly involved in the situation, except in severe cases such as cheating, exploiting, or cyber threats".

This seems like a headhunt to me so I will only be accepting the evidence that affected you personally.

Thanks for looking into this report @MrSilky. 

For clarity's sake, you were "A moderator was consulted before this report and agreed that the evidence was posted in time".

I was involved in the situations shown in evidence videos 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. After the events in evidence video 2, the accused submitted a report against all involved for DM. When reviewing the evidence, I couldn't help but notice the amount of rule breaks by the accused so submitted them in reply to that report. The accused then deleted all the clips I made and the initial evidence (!!!).

The report guidelines you have quoted also states, "If players are deliberately withholding evidence and knowledge of a rule breach, they will be punished for said action". I don't want to be punished and I would certainly expect blatant and repeat rule breaks to be acknowledged.

These were captured from a public live stream. I'm sure we know the power of Twitch in terms of acquiring new players. It's not a good look for someone to be constantly breaking rules while promoting the server. Potential new players will not be interested in joining or worse, join and think those actions are permitted.

The aim here is to be able to educate you so that you can enjoy your time in the community more while also adhering to the rules so that others may also enjoy all interactions with you.

2- I was with wolfgang only/there were 2 guys that i was shooting at at the ramp i though they were with the triads but they are not and there was 1 armless guy that wanted to cook and there was 1 or 2 people blocking the bridge with courier hq van, dunno who they are with "pretty much would give it a 911 call in real life since most people are busy with each other"

 

3-I was just pissed at the fact that we got outnumbered "we though they all were together" so i was mentioning that i was dreaming or had a dream with some similar stuff without acknowledging who is wolfgang as in my memory is lost. but yes i will use /o next time if i even bothered talking about it, this was the first time in my time in eclipse rp server to die from anything bigger than a pistol and i had to mumble about it, "around 2 weeks old in eclipse rp here".

 

4- People come and chat all the time regarding what activity im doing, i would say 99% are keeping things smooth and never meta game with me "mostly when we all speak with each other it would be around my situation with girls / which car im thinking to buy and comparing speeds / apartments and houses being over priced and some random stuff" .. WHEN it happens and someone offers help or says something like i want to play with you, i always reply with the same 2 sentence "Keep it ic" or "maybe if we met icly".

didn't ask the guy on stream to come to my location he showed up, i was speaking icly "nice to meet you and we moved on".

 

5- This specific case after reading the rules long ago i didnt fully understand it, and when i had a similar recent racist incident with a shoot out across the street at the bank, my dead body was already disappeared there and i didnt see it but i went back to get my bike from the bank and i was going to chumash store to buy gps/map/knife since its the one i always go to and its cheap, so i had to use the road that my body was basically shot dead at, and i had gotten an nlr punishment by YoSu and i was already arguing with him that its not the same place to breach NLR and then he tough me whats right and wrong.. so yeah i was basically acting as thats still not as close to be in the same dead body scene.

 

6- that's the guy that was speaking in the stream chat, Wolfgang basically closed the game and told me he's done for the day. i was running back from the gas station across the street after i stored his car behind it to keep it from being chopped. last time the guy i was pming pmed me we were together on the bike and he should know on his own that im in the same location, BUT yes i agree i should not tell him that in game using /pm. and i am sorry for doing that. that was just my stupid first couple of days to be honest. probably was like 7/8k exp at that time, i dont really think i ever use pm nowadays for anything related to game info/ic info.

at least im live 24/7 of my play time in eclipse and if i ever metagame or use discord with other people it will be visible unlike you. "which i never did btw" and in that specific case, i can call most of my viewers to be asked if i actually metagame or usually just make the server look bad and if they said yes then perma ban me.

yes i will not lie and i admit that some times we "as in me or some people from the server and the stream" rant and bitch about how cops/criminals fail rp but still im always focused on enjoying my time and actually play the game. "pretty sure who ever saw my stream will not agree with your bold statement pete."

most of the people who watches the stream are actually pretty okayish with my content since most of the time im trying to put more time streaming "actual rping instead of being a programmed bot farming 24/7" .. just like the "getting kidnapped by the wanted gang incident report" when i actually did what no one in the server would do. why? for the viewers not for the ingame money / possessions.

 

I always keep my previous VODS disabled and only view-able by subs because i want people to watch me when im live for better interaction, me disabling that was just because of the VOD of the report, and hell you used that in your own advantage to watch my VODS to do these reports / clips ... buddy i went offline to go to the gym, i come back and look at my created clips and i found 18 clips created, god i hope your social life improves.

 

you pistol pete on the other hand are a sad person, forgive me for saying this on the forums but just as a rewind : picture in attachment, your griping with your hands and teeth to get me banned.

Thank you for your patience while this report was under review. After reviewing this report and evidence attached to it, I've decided to accept this report and issue the punishments to the following players: Zate_Feto - Non-RP #3 | New Life Rule Breach - From the evidence provided, it is clear that you used information from a past life to influence your new life. You breached NLR twice in the evidence provided, but I will only count it as one punishment so that this is more of an educational experience - You need to forget all information leading up to your death, the reasons for your death and stay away from the people involved for 30 minutes. Zate_Feto - Non-RP #4 | Fear-RP - From the evidence provided, it's clear that you called the police while hostility was still on scene. In these situations, you need to fear for your character's life appropriately and calling the police to report a crime is a sure fire way to get yourself killed when they can still hear the call. Zate_Feto - Metagaming #1 - I am pretty sure you understand the faults you did in the evidence provided. You breached the Metagaming rule twice in the evidence but once again, rather than punishing lots, I'd rather this be just an educational experience. You cannot use OOC information (such as your stream chat) to arrange meetups or other IC information. Wolfgang_Weis and Darko_Kocic will both be contacted on how to handle situations and not be influenced by OOC content such as a stream. If you have received a punishment that you disagree with, feel free to file a punishment appeal following the punishment appeal guidelines and format. If the reporting party suffered a loss greater than $25,000 in value, feel free to file a refund request following the refund request guidelines and format.  Regards, MrSilky & @Meggs_56
