Deathmatch (DM) Deathmatching is the act of attacking a player or their property without a proper roleplay reason. Examples of valid reasons to attack another player: • If they attempt to arrest or hurt you, an ally, or damage your property. • If they report you to the police for a serious crime. • If they are not in compliance with demands, attempt to escape, or call other players for help in a situation where they are required to display fear under fear roleplay rules. A player cannot kill their victim if the victim is in compliance with the demands. A player must allow their victim enough time to comply with the demands. If a player informs you that your VOIP isn’t working, you must either fix your VOIP using appropriate commands or use text to deliver your demand(s). Vehicles cannot be used to attack another player more than once including a failed attempt. Attacking another player with no engagement in roleplay is not allowed. Killing a player that has obeyed all orders and demands during a roleplay situation is allowed, with roleplay, only within 3 hours of: Severe hostile or criminal action is taken against you, e.g. someone is robbing you at gunpoint. (Excluding police aiming a gun at you.) Someone is attempting to take your life. Someone is attempting to take the life of your close friend or ally, or if you have witnessed it happen. You must explain your reason to kill to the player IC and have OOC evidence proving your reason. How did the player break the rule(s)? Players 95 and 165 began shooting with no RP whatsoever. No demands were given, they just started shooting. Causing the tagged individuals as well as myself to be downed. Then we were subsequently killed. I was looking away and did not see anyone pointing a gun at me, I just saw Klaus ID 178 get a gun out and start saying "Get over here Alex" Which prompted me to pull my weapon out and look at who was firing and then open fire. This could've been a good scene, but they chose to go with hands up this is hrob instead of actually trying to RP. Very disappointing. MiniM4N Posted September 7, 2019 Report Share Posted September 7, 2019 ID 178 here so in this situation im in the party collecting money for raffle tickets as im told someone is being robbed outside so i go to investigate to find alex sitting outside talking about someone robbing people when i get my gun ready we go talk to the individual in the car he just says hi then we move on to investigate as we walk back to the entrance of the building i go over to the highway to kinda see if anyone is driving away or if there was any cars parked up surely enough when i turn around a man dressed like the individual in the white tuxedo sitting in the shafter we approached previously has a gun pointed at Alex Wexler id 90 who i then scream at to come over to me then the man in white starts shooting as me and id 262 shoot him back we down him but his buddy from the car shoots us both then finishes us in this situation i heard no shouting through voip or through seen anything in text chat Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Deakin Posted September 7, 2019 Report Share Posted September 7, 2019 Hi ID 95 here, thank you for the report, as seen in your video id 262, is being held at GUN POINT, with no gun in his hand, instead of Fearing for his life, he decides to take advantage of my VOIP not working, turns around and runs. while i'm still issuing demands he get to his friends, still no one has said anything about the VOIP issue while i'm hitting V the whole time to talk, he pulls a gun and starts to shot at me, at which point my friend and i fire back killing them. in the rules it states If a player informs you that your VOIP isn’t working, you must either fix your VOIP using appropriate commands or use text to deliver your demand(s), ID 262, should have Feared for his LIFE, regardless if my VOIP was working or not, instead he seen me ATTEMPTING to speak, and decided to take advantage and turn his back, and run to his friends leading to a shootout. Also at 2:44 in your video, you can clearly see me trying to give demands to the rook and he decided to not fear for his life and pull a gun out leading into me shooting at him and you were caught in the crossfire, only around 1-2 bullets landed on you, but then you proceed to run away to the car and try and fire back leading you to be instantly injured. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
