14. Deathmatch (DM)

• Deathmatching is the act of attacking a player or their property without a proper roleplay reason.

• Examples of valid reasons to attack another player:

• If they attempt to arrest or hurt you, an ally, or damage your property.

• If they report you to the police for a serious crime.

• If they are not in compliance with demands, attempt to escape, or call other players for help in a situation where they are required to display fear under fear roleplay rules.

• A player cannot kill their victim if the victim is in compliance with the demands.

• A player must allow their victim enough time to comply with the demands.

• If a player informs you that your VOIP isn’t working, you must either fix your VOIP using appropriate commands or use text to deliver your demand(s).

• Vehicles cannot be used to attack another player more than once including a failed attempt.

• Attacking another player with no engagement in roleplay is not allowed.

• Killing a player that has obeyed all orders and demands during a roleplay situation is allowed, with roleplay, only within 3 hours of:

  1.  Severe hostile or criminal action is taken against you, e.g. someone is robbing you at gunpoint. (Excluding police aiming a gun at you.)

  2.   Someone is attempting to take your life.

  3.   Someone is attempting to take the life of your close friend or ally, or if you have witnessed it happen.

• You must explain your reason to kill to the player IC and have OOC evidence proving your reason.

How did the player break the rule(s)?

Player 296 was robbing a police officer, when the robbery was done he attempted to escape, while doing that he broke VDM rules by ramming me (and after that other police car) without any roleplay engagement, meanwhile I he didn't have any valid reason to attack my property. He VDMed for benefit for himself.

I'd like to start off with your video first. You saw us robbing the cops and decided to block off one of the exits to LSC. You then reversed into my pathway that you knew I was going to leave out of. Your character was putting his own life at risk by trying to be a vigilante. You put yourself into the RP scenario by doing this, which would give me a valid reason to ram your car if that was my intention.

8. Non-Roleplay (NRP)

• Actions that are unrealistic or promote poor quality roleplay are considered as non-roleplay.

It doesn't quite make sense to try and block a police cruiser, which has full reinforced grille bars on the front, with a beach buggy that has no doors and only a roll cage to protect you.

 

Third,

Now, from my point of view, it looked like you were about to leave LSC and then decided to reverse back in. I thought you were going to clear the exit so that I could go through, and by the time I realized that wasn't the case it was too late (I had already let off the gas and had tried to hit the brakes before hitting you). After that, I didn't see the cop to my right which actually hit the vehicle I was driving and not the other way around.

You are right about few things, as my character saw that you are going to leave from LSC, I wanted to reverse back in and free your way, meanwhile doing that my car flipped and I had no chance anymore to do it. (From your POV you can see the thing what is blocking me to reverse)
After hearing your story and looking your POV I believe we can work this out without a report aswell.

I have contacted this player via discord, so we could clear this thing out without a report and asking this to be locked & archived.
