13. Fear Roleplay (FRP)

• Fear roleplay is the concept of roleplaying fear for your character’s safety and life.

• Examples (but not limited to), where your character’s life is considered to be in direct danger:

       • When you are on foot or bike and a weapon is aimed at you at close range.

       • When you’re in a vehicle that is stalled or turned off and a weapon is aimed at you close range.

       • When the attacker lowers their weapon to type or roleplay, your life remains in direct danger.

       • Driving a vehicle in an active shootout more than once without the intent of protecting a friend, fleeing with it, or using it as cover.

• Examples (but not limited to), where your character’s life is NOT considered to be in direct danger:

       • When you are in a car which engine is not stalled.

       • When you have a firearm drawn and are facing the other person before they attacked.

       • When the attacker’s view is obstructed by an object or when they turn their back on you.

• As a victim, whose life is in direct danger:

       • You must display reasonable value for your life and comply with the demands of your attacker.

       • You cannot call 911 or call your friends or allies to aid you.

How did the player break the rule(s)?

Me and a few other officers/deputies rolled up on a lab after we were called there by a bystander and found an orange Hakuchou fleeing the scene. After blocking off the entrance, they attempted to go up a hill, where we promptly told them to get off the bike while pointing weapons at them. They continued to attempt (and failed) to get up the hill and ended up falling down and hitting my character. They showed no fear for their life while being aimed at from a close range while on a motorcycle. To quote the rule-book, it is considered Fear RP "When you are on foot or bike and a weapon is aimed at you at close range."

Hello, ID 142 here. After seeing this POV i understand that my actions weren't showing adequate value for my life and i did in fact breach the FearRP rule. I just want to formally apologize to the reporting party and all other sheriffs involved in the situation for how my actions could have affected the RP scenario. At the time i wasn't looking behind me in third person and didn't realize how close the officers were with their weapons but in this video it is evident that I messed up. If the support staff deems this as a strike i fully understand. If anymore responses are needed from me I'd be happy to reply.

After discussing this report with @Serthon, we have come to the following conclusion; 

Player Fregothy_Bleu @Fregothy (ID 142) will receive a punishment for breach of Fear-RP. If a weapon is held at you at close range and you are on a bike please make sure you comply with the demands being given to you. We appreciate you owning up to your mistake and we hope that you can learn from this in the future.
