CarryOut Posted September 1, 2019 Report Share Posted September 1, 2019 I am ID 59 in this situation. I genuinely did not know the officer had a gun aimed at me, because the only reason I fell out of my car is because he tazed me, so I didn't see him pull his gun out. I'd like to request you to put a longer video where you tazed me out of the vehicle. I didn't see him pull the weapon out or I would have stopped. But I didn't have my camera even pointed at him, I was focused on getting in the vehicle, and not on the cop. It also isn't realistic for me to fall out of my vehicle after being tazed, considering the door was closed, so realistically I would not have fallen out of the car and ended up on the ground in the first place. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I don't currently record because it is typhoon season, and since I usually have 300 ping on the server, I will lag even more. I didn't expect the officer to pull a weapon as I was not visibly carrying a weapon, nor was my passenger. This is a breach of force matrix, and my character didn't expect the officer to switch from a tazer to deadly force, just to try and induce fearRP. If I had seen it, I obviously would have stopped because of the rule, but I genuinely didn't see the male change from a tazer to a pistol. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

After extensively reviewing the provided evidence as well as taking the statements of all parties involved into consideration, i have decided to conclude this report. Player Jace_Bianchi will receive a Non-Roleplay punishment for breaching the Fear Roleplay rules | Offense #1. First and foremost, i would like to address the punishment of Non-Roleplay and the reasoning behind it. In the provided evidence of this report, it can be seen that the reporting party places you under direct gunpoint at close range while attempting to detain you. In turn, you disregard this entirely and begin running away before ultimately escaping. The issue that arises with this situation is that your actions are not in accordance with our Fear Roleplay rules. If you are held under direct gunpoint at close range, which essentially means that you are in a vulnerable and life threatening situation, you are expected to display an adequate and realistic amount of fear for the life of your character, and follow every demand given to you as one instinctively would do in real life. The moment the reporting party aimed his weapon towards you, you were completely unarmed and defenseless which would mean that you are not exempt from acting under the fear roleplay rules, and your life was still in direct danger. It is of my belief that your first instinct while under direct danger should not be to disregard the fact that a weapon is aimed at you and run away, but rather comply with the demands being upon you as you were completely defenseless and unarmed at the time. The issue of you falling out of the vehicle after being tazed is a result of the script, and while i do agree that it is not fully realistic there are certain limitations in the game that we have to work with and compromise. Furthermore, the supposed breach of force matrix is not relevant to the rulebreak and is more so an in-character issue which you are more than welcome to handle accordingly as such. Last but not least, I acknowledge that your attention was not directed at the officer, resulting in you not noticing the weapon he had equipped but as there has been no provided evidence to suggest this, i can only work with the evidence that the reporting party provided to me and conclude it based on that. I sincerely encourage you to be much more attentive in these types of situations so that this does not repeat itself in the future. Please take this punishment as an opportunity to reflect on your actions, and making sure that moving forward you do so in a way where this is not repeated.
