Recommended Posts

Player(s) being reported: ID 45
Date of interaction reported: 8/30/2019
Unix time stamp from HUD: 1567158340

Your characters name: Alexander Johan

Other player(s) involved: N/A

Specific rule(s) broken:

8. Non-Roleplay (NRP)

  • Actions that are unrealistic or promote poor quality roleplay are considered as non-roleplay.

  • Examples of actions that are considered as non-roleplay:

• Cop Baiting - Provoking a reaction from emergency services without a realistic reason.

• Mercy Killing - Asking to be killed by a friend (Killing a friend falls under deathmatching).

• Unrealistic stunt jumping or the use of an expensive vehicle to ram into other vehicles.

• Spawning a scripted work vehicle and using it for crimes or submerging any vehicle in water.

• Swimming in water for an unrealistic amount of time or without a destination during a chase.

  • Players who disconnect during roleplay must reconnect and inform other parties in order to resume roleplay. If you are unable to reconnect it may be excused after providing proof.

  • In a situation where a player gets away from an incident where they're being chased/pursued, they must wait 15 minutes before they can logout. Players should not instigate roleplay situations if they do not have time to play it through.

  • Players who ignore answering roleplay commands directed at them, e.g. /do.

  • In a situation where a player’s game crashes or the player is kicked from the server, they should be allowed to have the same advantages as they have had before their leave.

7. IC and OOC Interactions

  • Players are required to remain in-character (IC) at all times.

  • Text chat, VOIP, radio, phone and commands like /ME and /do are to be used only for IC content.

  • IC content must not contain acronyms like “lol” or “u” or smiley faces excluding IC SMS.

  • For OOC content, players must use chat commands that encase the content in brackets. For example: (( this is OOC content )). OOC chat commands are /OOC, /O, /B, /PM and /F.

  • OOC videos or screenshots can be used as IC evidence only if the footage contains the character using the /RECORD command to hold a phone in their hand.

  • Property interiors can have cameras only if the owner roleplays installation and takes time stamped screenshots with the camera angle as evidence. Exteriors only if there is an object.

  • You may roleplay a hidden camera, wire, or dash cam in a vehicle if recordings are unedited and include roleplay starting and ending. Attempts to search must be answered truthfully in /do.

  • Sexual, torture, or extremely gross roleplay is allowed only if all involved parties (participants and witnesses) have agreed to it in OOC text chat, prior to the actual roleplay being performed.

  • Only administrators are allowed force pause RP or investigate rule breaches.

  • Only administrators are allowed to void roleplay scenarios at their discretion.

  • Players are welcome to voice their opinion but should never disobey administrators.

  • A /REPORT does not pause roleplay unless an admin does so.

How did the player break the rule(s)?

Context: I was driving my cab at bank when I saw some people blocking the road so I signal them to move. Then the man on the bike passes me and the person in the car tells me that the person was riding his stolen bike. I proceed to chase the individual on the bike.

Start of clip: As I was chasing the person on the bike, I saw him try to hide in an alleyway so I proceed to try to block him, he tries to escape but he crashes into my car and gets injured. I look at his items and see that he has a weapon, I try to take his licenses in /me and /do but he chooses not to respond. He avoids any IC or OOC interaction with me and calls a medic. I try to find the person whose bike belongs to but am unable to. I return to the scene and I tell him to respon RP and I redid the /me and /do. He then mixes OOC and IC using VOIP for OOC messages such as "No, I fucking- I dont know the rules bro." I tried calling for an admin with no luck and he still does not respond to RP. He then combat logs to avoid losing his weapon and potentially be arrested. Evidence speaks for itself.

Hello, and thank you for making this player report! @kenichis

First and foremost, player Micheal_Devilla will receive 24 hours to respond with his side of the story, and explain the reasoning for his actions which can be seen in the provided evidence above. Why did you disregard the roleplaying commands directed at you and ignore them completely? Why did you disconnect from the server without attempting to inform the parties involved of the disconnect and attempt to return back in-game? Lastly, why did you relay out of character terms and words through in-character means of communication? As the reported party does not have a forum account, he will be notified of this report in-game.

Secondly, @kenichis do you have any alternative and unedited footage of this situation taking place? In the provided evidence of this report i am unable to hear your voice when you speak over VOIP at numerous occasions.

Looking forward to the response of all parties involved!

Kind regards,

Dqniel

Thank you for you response @Dqniel,

Unfortunately, my Shadowplay settings does not record my microphone therefore the audio from my VOIP is not recorded. However, you can still see that when I hold the N key on the bottom of the screen.

I can assure you that the recording is untampered, the reason that the audio sometimes turns on and off is because I was alt + tabing in and out the game as someone was calling me over discord in the middle of the interaction.

Thats all.

Hello, and thank you for remaining patient! As more than enough time has passed for the reported party to respond with his side of the story and explain the reasoning for his actions i have decided to conclude this report based on the provided evidence and statement given to us by the reporting party.

Player Micheal_Devilla will receive a Non-Roleplay punishment for not responding to RP | Offense #1

Player Micheal_Devilla will receive a Non-Roleplay punishment for Combat Logging | Offense #2

First and foremost, i would like to address the punishment of Non-Roleplay relating to you being unresponsive in roleplay and the reasoning behind it. In the provided evidence of this report, it can be seen that the reporting party at numerous occasions attempted to roleplay with you through various different roleplaying commands. In turn, you disregarded this entirely and decided to ignore his attempts at roleplay. The issue that arises with this situation is that your actions are not in accordance with our Non Roleplay rules. You make the situation very one sided and incredibly advantageous towards yourself when disregarding the roleplaying commands directed at you. I acknowledge that you are a new player and as such you are still acclimating and familiarizing yourself with the server, but if you were as unsure and inexperienced as you claimed in this report then you should have utilized the out of character means of communication such as /ooc and ask for help on how to proceed rather than ignoring the reporting party completely. With that being said, players who ignore answering roleplay commands directed at them, such as /me’s and /do’s are in violation of our non-roleplay rules. Please take this punishment as an opportunity to reflect on your actions, and making sure that moving forward you do so in a way where this is not repeated.

Secondly, i would like to address the punishment of Non-Roleplay relating to you disconnecting from the server. In the provided evidence of this report, it can be seen that shortly after ignoring the roleplaying attempts of the reporting party, you disconnect from the server without reconnecting and informing the parties involved. The issue that arises with this situation is that your actions are in violation of our Combat Logging rules. It is far too convenient that you happened to disconnect from the server at the exact moment of you mixing IC/OOC and expressing your frustration about this situation. As outlined in the rulebook, cases of disconnecting from the server while in an active roleplaying scenario and being unable to reconnect may be excused if valid proof is submitted however as no proof has been submitted and there is nothing to suggest otherwise, i am led to believe that you disconnecting from the server was done in a malicious and purposeful way rather than it somehow being accidental. Please take this punishment as an opportunity to reflect on your actions, and making sure that moving forward you do so in a way where this is not repeated.

Thirdly, i would like to state the following. In the provided evidence of this it can be seen that you utilize the in-character voip to relay out of character terms and words, otherwise known as mixing IC & OOC. However, the violation was so minor that instead of issuing a punishment i will instead urge you to keep the two seperate, and utilize our out of character commands such as /b, /ooc and /o if you wish to relay something through out of character means. I sincerely hope you take the information that you have been taught here and apply it for any future situations.

Thank you for making this report! @kenichis

Report is accepted and archived.

Kind regards,

Dqniel.
