Marca
Player(s) being reported: ID 144 Date of interaction reported: 29/AUG/2019 @ 9:26pm (UTC) Unix time stamp from HUD: 1567113995 Your characters name: James Li Other player(s) involved: None Specific rule(s) broken: Fear Roleplay (FRP) Fear roleplay is the concept of roleplaying fear for your character’s safety and life. Examples (but not limited to), where your character’s life is considered to be in direct danger: • When you are on foot or bike and a weapon is aimed at you at close range. • When you’re in a vehicle that is stalled or turned off and a weapon is aimed at you close range. • When the attacker lowers their weapon to type or roleplay, your life remains in direct danger. • Driving a vehicle in an active shootout more than once without the intent of protecting a friend, fleeing with it, or using it as cover. Examples (but not limited to), where your character’s life is NOT considered to be in direct danger: • When you are in a car which engine is not stalled. • When you have a firearm drawn and are facing the other person before they attacked. • When the attacker’s view is obstructed by an object or when they turn their back on you. As a victim, whose life is in direct danger: • You must display reasonable value for your life and comply with the demands of your attacker. • You cannot call 911 or call your friends or allies to aid you. How did the player break the rule(s)? When ID 144 got into his car, while it was being towed/raised in the air, it looked like he was trying to drive off with it. After a while the vehicle calmed down and it started doing burnouts. RP'ly I'm not sure how he could spin his tires, while the vehicle was lifted in the air and secured (IRL tow trucks grip onto the wheels). I decided to shrug this off and continue RP. After I told him to get out of his car, he decided to attack me and flee. After I stunned him, I switched to my sidearm for my own protection (IC reasons). At first he complied, but then decided to continue running and ultimately went up the ladder. Dqniel
Hello, and thank you for making this player report! @Marca Player Jason_Ramon will receive 24 hours to respond with his side of the story, and explain the reasoning for his actions which can be seen in the provided evidence above. First and foremost, why did you attack the reporting party while in a No Crime Zone all for seemingly no valid reason? Secondly, why did you disregard the roleplaying demands directed at you and in turn run away, all while the reporting party had placed you under direct gunpoint at close range? As the reported party does not have a forum account he will be notified of this report in-game. Kind regards, Dqniel
Dqniel
Hello, and thank you for remaining patient! As more than enough time has passed for the reported party to respond with his side of the story and explain the reasoning for his actions i have decided to conclude this report based on the provided evidence and statement given to us by the reporting party. Player Jason_Ramon will receive a Non-Roleplay punishment for breaching the No Crime Zone rules | Offense #1. Player Jason_Ramon will receive a Non-Roleplay punishment for breaching the Fear Roleplay rules | Offense #2. First and foremost, i would like to address the Non-Roleplay punishment relating to the breach of the No Crime Zone rules and the reasoning behind it. In the provided evidence of this report, it can be seen that you exit your vehicle, approach the reporting party and then attack him by punching him before ultimately running away. The issue that arises with this situation is that your actions are not in accordance with our No Crime Zone rules. By attacking another person - a law enforcement officer at that, you are commiting a crime all while being situated in a No Crime Zone. As the name suggests and as is outlined in the rulebook, no actions that even come close to being classified as a crime may be done while you are in a No Crime Zone and therefore you are in violation of the rules. Please take this punishment as an opportunity to reflect on your actions, and making sure that moving forward you do so in a way where this is not repeated. Secondly, i would like to address the Non-Roleplay punishment relating to the breach of the Fear Roleplay rules and the reasoning behind it. In the provided evidence of this report, it can be seen that the reporting party places you under direct gunpoint at close range, and in turn you disregard that entirely and decide to run away. The issue that arises with this situation is that your actions are not in accordance with our Fear Roleplay rules. If you are held under direct gunpoint at close range, which essentially means that you are in a vulnerable and life threatening situation, you are expected to display an adequate and realistic amount of fear for the life of your character, and follow every demand given to you as one instinctively would do in real life. The moment that weapon was aimed at you, you were completely unarmed and defenseless and as such you were not exempt from acting under the Fear Roleplay rules and your life was still in direct danger. It is of my belief that your first instinct while under direct danger should not be to disregard that entirely and run away, but rather comply with the demands being made upon you as you were completely unarmed and defenseless at the time. Please take this punishment as an opportunity to reflect on your actions, and making sure that moving forward you do so in a way where this is not repeated Thirdly, i would like to state the following. In the provided evidence of this report, it can be seen that you attack the reporting party all for seemingly no valid reason (as you have not responded and there is nothing in the provided evidence that would suggest otherwise). The act of attacking a player and or their property without a proper roleplay reason falls under Deathmatch. There was absolutely nothing that warranted an attack in this situation. With that being said however, the violation was so minor that instead of issuing a punishment i will instead urge you to revisit our rules surrounding Deathmatch and ask that you take the information that you have been taught here and apply it for any future situations. Thank you for making this report! @Marca Report is accepted and archived. Kind regards, Dqniel
